I think the engineer of the grain train was on a mission to go supersonic - the way the helpers wriggled and bounced in the distance as the train headed away - awesome! You always seem to somehow get some tension into your videos which I really enjoy! You make my day with your videos, much appreciated!
Nice two shades of green opening with a slate blue background with a hint of light violet to boot. The colors on the cargo trailers had effect too. Thanks!
Thanks Lou, they were some big ones, they seems to be getting a lot shorter lately. It's so peaceful at this location that you can hear the birds and such with no problem. Thanks for watching Lou.
Love these long intermodal trains at speed. It is impressive when they pass at 60mph and it still seems slow. People just dont get it that trains move alot faster than they appear. Great location in your video.
Thanks for another great video, that first stack train was sure a monster. I like it a lot when they jump into the pit lane to wait. Thanks for the info recently on the lengths of some of these sidings my friend!!!
It's my pleasure WILLY. Yes it was. It's amazing the length of trains they are operating anymore. It's great when they head into the siding, it means another train coming from the opposite direction! Thanks for watching my friend.
Are you filming from the crest of a hill? It appears to be rather steep both coming and going away from your spot. Or is it just a trick of the camera?
The westbounds are heading down hill. In the video, the very first train is at the crest of the grade. The section the train is on (that you can't see) is flat and when the train comes into view it is starting to head down hill.. The grade steepens slightly just about where the camera is positioned. The maximum grade is 1%, I hope that helps and thanks for watching.
Like#5! 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👌💪💪🎃🎃🎃😲💯 Is it all from the same day? There's Z, Q and S double stacks! Those with international containers are...? First WB was 274 wells and 2+2+0! Only 4 units and still fast one! EB overtake, and the first train: they must have taken a siding (I doubt there's a 14000+ft siding for that train). Also you had in previous one video a Z train with 3 ET44C4's leading 98 cars and no DPU/ compared with one 104 cars month ago and 3+2 SD70ACE, ES44AC, really lots of power compared with this. You explained the Z trains have plenty of power, but things, like have changed a bit recently. Nice trains you filmed 👌👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽🎃💯
Thanks hades descent 666. No Z trains in this one, it was two S trains and one Q train. The Zs used to be at least 5 to 6 locomotives but lately I've seen the Zs with as few as 3. I don't believe the Zs the have throttle restrictions that the other trains do though as the still pull the hill with plenty of speed. Thanks for watching.
@@PacificNWRailfan I know there's no Z here. Video from yesterday I think, had 3 leading ET44C4'S and 98 cars, no DPU. Recently all others have been like you say. But one that I asked that is overpowered had 104 cars and 3+2 all ES44AC SD70ACe units. Thanks for explanation ☺️
@@hadesdescent6664 I misread what you wrote and thought you meant a Z in this video. Also, yes this video and the previous one is all from one day. From 3 pm on Friday afternoon to 9 pm on Saturday evening I video taped 35 trains.
A Q train basically the same as a Z except it doesn't have UPS or Fedex trailers and isn't as high a priority as a Z, an S is Double Stacks this link might help you understand things better. Thanks for watching. www.qstation.org/bnsf/BNSF_Train_Symbols.pdf
I love the buildup with the train slowly approaching amid the various sounds of the birds
Thanks Andrei, yea I though it looked cool to see the train come up over the horizon. Thanks for watching.

Oh my goodness. 278 cars. I believe that is around 16,000 feet of train, which is just so monstrous.
