I think my favorite part so far is the mom busting out of the closet to save her child, then both parents beating the shit out of the two who tried to hurt him. Might be my favorite scene in all movies and series I've ever seen. The primal rage and fierceness to protect their child from harm. Not to mention that the weapon of choice was a frying pan.

One episode of Lucifer. "Stewardess Interruptus', she was Lucifer's stalker. Such a small role, yet it stood out so much. Really hope her role on the show expands a bit.
What I love the most is that I might have anti-context. My mother talked about how this was such a cute show several years ago. 8 must have confused it with another similarly named show on CBS, and thought it was probably something to do light chuckles at. Now that I'm watching this, I'm impressed with my mother's taste, so curious about what's going on, and enjoying the extreme difference between expectation and reality.
I will say, of all the characters in this show, I love all of them except the Mayor and his wife. The Mayor is boring as HELL, and is kind of a d%€k; and his wife is also uninteresting, and is kind of annoying. The only thing I like about them, is the twist they have in season two, and how they build upon it in season three (so far). But other than that whenever they’re on screen I just can’t stand them. Especially considering the show is really good at having an Ensemble cast. Whenever I watch the other characters in this show, I typically never think, “yea, just get to the alien stuff already!” Because they made them all so likable.
