Notice how East and South do/did not succumb to the global Hegemon, unlike “the Enlightened Collective Garden”? Tells everyone about the true meaning of Sovereignty.
The quality of western leadership is the reasons for their decline
No the quality is unchanged, its that the subsidy from exploiting Africa and the global south is over. Easy to build economies with slaves and colonies.

They already did mate, the facts are it doesn't matter what tariffs they put on Chinese cars. If Europeans haven't got the money they can't buy anything no matter where it's from. Putting all the sanctions on Russia has crippled the EU
Once again, America and the EU have bitten off more than they can chew...

The dumb part was, everyone wasn’t doing that bad at the time. I’m not saying everything was roses, still lots of crap in the Middle East (thx to the US), but even peace was being talked first time in decades. But as soon as genocide Joe got in, it all went to hell and for no reason.
Neither America nor the EU now work for the benefit of their respective citizens. Not until they refocus their efforts for the benefit of their citizens will they have even a hope of recovering their former stature.
This is why China is interested in developing Africa, they need new customers for their goods. Including high tech and industrial machinery.
In contrary to Europe/US, who try to permanently keep Africa in poverty, so that they can extract resources for cheap.
💯🎯 👍
Yes, 100% correct.
The people of the Africa have been "divided and ruled" over by outsiders for centuries. Because it is easier to divide people based on personal differences, than it is to unite them, based on what they have in common. Strategically ambiguous rulers make use of this, for own advantages. In the era of empires, first Rome/Constantinople in North Africa, then during the era of Western imperialism the seat of POWER playing these games changed to the USA/Europe, then after the 1950's as European colonialism's power decreased, Africa was the "playground" during the Cold War. Moscow was taking on the role of arming the resistance.
Now the intention is simply to avoid unity in Africa and the ME, in order to "rule" over the dissent which is classical "divide and rule". Today, all African dissenters, including some of Africa's own greedy corrupt leaders, are ALL tools. Endless wars, constant dissent.
Insert "levers" of lies, mistrust...
Create favorites: favoritism...
Point the finger, everywhere else...
Divide and Rule.
Oldest trick in the book...
Who wields the POWER? Who has had (in all historical cases in Africa and the ME) the GEOGRAPHICAL ADVANTAGE of being able to "reach" all the other little "buck catchers" (tools, and other Roman-era style instruments of POWER), but could not be "reached" itself, because of a geographical-, technological-, organisational-, military-, strategic-, political advantage at any given point of a historical timeline?
Four corners of the globe. These globalists play the same game. Divide and rule.
China is primarily interested in the natural resources available in Africa. I wouldn't expect China to be any less exploitative than the European colonial powers of the past.
@bookingstation could both be true? Won't China need new markets withh the USA and EU blocking trade? Africa is a big market. African Leaders must negotiate deals that are in the best interest for Africa.
Europe are colonies. We should not get the blame for US policy. All European nations bar Belgium's empires were the same as China's now, supporting development, infrastructure and education

There was a show on TV last night here in Sweden where a bunch of EU bureaucrats eat dinner while talking about how the EU can save the world (no kidding). Economics is not the Duran’s area of expertise. The Tesla is basically a luxury car. There is no middle class market for Teslas. They were subsidized at first. Further, the infrastructure to support electric vehicles is 100 percent nonexistent in the U.S. and the existing grid system will not support expansion. There is very limited investment in infrastructure because all our money goes to wars. If the Duran wishes to discuss economics, they should have a session with a knowledgeable economist like Michael Hudson.

I'm in Bulgaria, never seen an electric car.
The turning point with the Western : Chinese relationship was 2008. Before then, they had a deal whereby China earned USD's (for goods) but the USD's were immediately returned to the US in the form of loans (sovereign bonds). 2008 was the watershed moment as, before then, USD's were viewed as as good as gold. In 2008 the US printed unlimited USD's, bailing out the financial sector and the economy, thereby signaling that the USD's can be devalued at any time, which led to China slowing down (and eventually) reversings it bond purchases.
Yup
I don't know anyone here in the US who even wants to switch to an EV, especially a pick-up.
Not surprisingly if in the US, they even have people that don't want to switch to an ICE car and still using horse-drawn carriage. Maybe the whole country will be like that in a few decades, left behind by rest of the world.
God..please help us all !
EU & China should be working closely together, I believe they may have prevented Ukraine war if they had stronger bonds
What happened to the competition?
Is the West admitting that they can't compete with the world?
The West is stagnating
Er!! The British understood they were/ will be unable to compete way, way back in the Thatcher years!!! Nothings changed everything remains the same!!
Yes. That's exactly what Americans admitted few weeks ago in China.
Respectfully, it seems you understand little about economics. The CCP subsidizes all businesses that export to the world...unfare advantage. The CCP, tells chinese businesses to sell their products for less than it costs to manufacture them(remember they're subsidized so they don't lose money) selling products for less than it costs to manufacture them is called 'dumping' and is against WTO mandates...that china signed on to. China does this with all their products. So tell me is this competitive or underhanded?
