The doorman's daughter Feriha and her mother Zehra, who live in a luxury apartment in Etiler, are surrounded by the excitement of the university exam results. While the university is the key point of the mother's daughter's dreams for the future, Feriha's twin Mehmet, who did not study after primary school, and her father Riza, who is a fatalistic man by nature, do not feel the same excitement as them. While Mehmet is jealous of Feriha from the inside out, he is also aware of the ambitions in his twin and the longing he feels for the luxurious life of the 'above'.
On the other hand, the most important thing in Feriha's life, other than her university goal, is Cansu, who lives 'upstairs' and has a problematic relationship with her stepmother. Cansu, like Feriha, is waiting for the exam results. The big day finally comes. Feriha, who has received a scholarship from an elite private university, will take a step to the university that will put her into a completely different life.
Feriha Yilmaz is an attractive, beautiful, talented and ambitious daughter of a poor family. Her father, Riza Yilmaz, is a janitor in Etiler, an upper-class neighbourhood in Istanbul. Her mother Zehra Yilmaz is a maid. Feriha studies at a private university with full scholarship. While studying at the university, Feriha poses as a rich girl. She meets a handsome and rich young man, Emir Sarrafoglu. Feriha lies about her life and her family background and Emir falls in love with her without knowing who she really is. She falls in love with him too and becomes trapped in her own lies.

It's 2024 and still came here to watch this♥️. Watched this drama for the 1st time when i was in 7th now i have completed my degree but still this drama has special place in my heart. Everytime when i listened to the background music of this drama it feels like love l. Iam in love with turkish people so much♥️

Watched this for the first time when i was in 8th standard. Now, i have finished college. No clue how many times i have watched this series. this isn't just a serial for me, but a huge part of my life. I live the characters and my eyes flood with tears whenever i hear the soulful bgm. It's a burst of nostalgia. I can't believe how painfully sad watching this drama is, and yet there's endless beauty in that pain. I can't put into words, my love for Feriha. This show is my entire life ❤️

I’m sorry for your loss,I lost my mom just a little over two years ago,I was blessed to have a mom like Feriha and more,even when my husband came to ask her for marriage, I went and asked for her opinion,she was the one who guided me on everything in my life and now being a mother too I still follow what I learned from her and that help my daughters going into marriage with great families,don’t ever underestimate mothers love and take it for granted,no one else in this world will fill the emptiness after she’s gone…feriha loved her mom and appreciate her greatly I even got upset with her when she yelled at her,sometimes the truth cuts like a knife but always take out what’s unwanted in your heart !!!

the cofee shop scene is really relatable I used to study in a rich school and I would find myself inside this kind of conversations all the time... Actually everything that happened or was felt by Feriha is relatable except the Wmir part lol. All the guys were jerks and none of them was as handsome as this actor.

Sometimes I'm hesitant to watch turkish tv series with English subtitles notice which could sometimes be a clickbait, because they have them in the first or second episodes then as it stirs one's interest in the drama, the subtitles disappear in the following episodes. I'm curious if the subtitles are consistent in all coming episodes.

I love the story from beginning til the wedding with Emir n Feriha. But after which Im not satisfied with the ending. Feriha's mom just disappeared But the story is beautiful til the wedding which could be a happy ending.💖

Because the series was continuing, but unfortunately Hazal Kaya had already committed to another role, so a mix up in the planning. So it works fine up to just before the end of episode 67.
The first time I watched until episode 67. This was my first Turkish drama, boy oh boy!!!

Hazel is married with 2 kids to an older man. Cagatay is still single, yet he has his best career so far. I watched the protector and tailor. They are both posted on Netflix. It means he is good, and the storyline must be meaningful. Otherwise, Netflix would buy them .

Seems Feriha has changed because she's studying at an elite school so somewhat like "keeping up with the Joneses" attitude and the little accident and stubborness of Eric at one glance is from an affluent family and we don't know what motivates her in showing those kind of attitude to Eric.
As Emir described Feriah, she’s peevish, bad tempered, and stubborn. So to answer your Qs, she’s just being herself caught on one of her moods 😄

Now I watch this for the 2nd time, and I understand Feriya as to why she had to lie to maybe wanting to become like Emir, Hande, and Korey group of people amongst other students.
Lies become her enemies once they expose. But Emir fell in love, Feriya, not knowing that he was being fooled by Feriya. But instead, he understands why she lied in the 1sr place. It shouldn't change his perception about Feriya.
I think it's more like a teenage urge to fit in society.
