There might have to be a differentiation on that since the Crusader BattleMech exist though. Like, "The Crusaders" Booster pack and the "Crusader" Mechpack.
Having never seen a depiction of one that way, it didn't occur to me to try. But I assume they're like any military hardware, made for righties only, and us lefties just get stuck having to deal, as always. :P
@@confracto Also it's a misnomer to say all military hardware is designed for righties. Most rifles and grenades are ambidextrous or can be set up for what hand preference there is. It's a little different in a tank considering that's a lot of expensive and heavy hardware to reconfigure or even completely reconfigure the layout of the vehicle and most things in a tank doesn't even care whether you're right handed or left handed unless you're the manual loader. Kinda like driving a car since lefties don't need a special layout for that. With an elemental suit though, it would probably just be a matter of fairly minor modifications similar to a rifle. Considering they were able to quickly modify one for Kai Allard_Liao's height profile; a hand preference option should be pretty simple in comparison.
I really love the warden pack and It details. Elementals are just perfect, also the update was a good fix to balancing the game. Anyways, I think it's time to listen the community and optimize or fix or add some details that still present in the game like the floating rocks in canyon network, spawning mechs in testing grounds, fps, and some other tecnical fixes and ideas that would make a better play experience.
Why didn't they add older 'Mechs to Mechwarrior 5: Mercenaries? I so miss Mad Cat, Uziel, Longbow, Daishi etc. Good that MWO exists, so I can play with older 'Mechs as well!
They wanted the game to focus on the Succession Wars as a premise. So the Uziel, Mad Cat and Daishi (Civil War and Clan Invasion Era respectively) would be out of the question. But there are some people who will be making mods of them somewhere. As for the Longbow, I agree with you and would love to see an MWO version.
If PGI introduced an elementals into the game, it would probably exceed the sales profit of every other Mech Pack they had introduced in the past. I mean wouldn't you guys buy an elemental Pack? If one could somehow balance them so that they are as powerful as a Mech, it would be pretty awesome...
@@ShadowSniperUK Cartoon? You mean the novels right? The cartoons are pretty inaccurate imo. But i don't get your point honestly. If you could exchange an elemental for a light Mech let's say, you wouldn't have any balance issues. Give them the ability to jump on the chassis of friendly and enemy Mechs with that simulated weapon and you'd have a very potent playstyle added to the game.
