just got back from sg. this video really helped me . i was nervous at first but as soon as i got EzLink i feel more confident using the mrt and yes it is veerry easy
Singapore's MRT is the most efficient transit I have taken so far, I like the EZ-Link cards they use. Unlike here in Calgary, you need an old fashioned paper ticket with you while you ride the train. But there are some fare dodgers out there who can get away from not paying like 90% of the time. It's not their fault though, it the transit agencies. It's their responsibility to make sure people pay before they get onto the train, not when they are on the train. This is why we need a train system like Singapore.
I'm going to spend 1 day and 1 night in Singapore, but will probably go to lots of places. Is it cheaper to purchase a card or just buy it at the machine?
Chewing Gum is now allowed from 4 October 2016 onwards. You can smuggle in 1-5 bottles from MALAYSIA ONLY! If you smuggle 6, the police officer will throw all of them away. Plus... Who made the rules "No Eating In Cabs". Only for un-licensed cab drivers for instances.
Apart from the Red, Green, Yellow and Purple Lines, there is now a new Blue Line. And here is a fact: There are 2 public transport operaters in Singapore, namely SBS Transit and SMRT.
***** don't need to use the f word lolz so sensitive? because it's written as $, not S$ and the website was in English, so maybe the currency was written in USD for foreigners. Ofc why would you use USD in your country, ofc who doesn't know that you have your own currency? but this is info for visitors, maybe your country is nice enough to put the info in USD. just asking so calm down
***** no please don't be, I have already finished my assignment in Singapore and I must say your country is amazing, the way how everything works magically smooth and automatic is so impressive. What is more is the level of disciplinary and moral of the Singaporeans. Now I understand why Singapore gains so much respect from the world!
Take CGL (Changi Airport Line) to Tanah Merah. Exchange to EWL (East West Line), *towards Joo Koon* Stop and alight at Outram Park. Exchange to NEL (North East Line), *towards Punggol* Stop and alight at Farrer Park. There you go! :D

i already to singapore because i now the airport is called changi aiport
Wait where’s the downtown line???
The Downtown line didn't open until 22 December 2013, and this was filmed before then. Same with the Thomson East Coast line.
I heard that there is a trend of farting in the mrt which is called The Lau Aroma with the mindset "Its Now Or Never".
There is something missing... You did not remind people to not aboard or alight the train when doors are closing ... :(
