It's just guys being guys, giving each other crap about their sex, race, play style, K/D etc. One of my good mates told us, while gaming, he had one of his testies removed due to cancer and you know what we said at first? "We didn't think you had any balls to begin with". All this woman does, like so many do, is just whine and complain. Like, if your teammate is flashing or smoking you, then do it back or leave. Don't cop it and whine. Also games like CS and CoD they just attract the type of people who would be mentally medically discharged from the military for being aggressive. It's the types of game you play which determine the types of people you'll encounter.

Saying some shit about how he has money or a fat ass or whatever was is something that sounded like he would say that about himself. Also with the "as a woman" or what it was idk it didn't sound real to me Also, the fact that this shit still exists hurts my brain so much

This sounds like NA servers so im not sure how its done there, but in EU if you have a teammate that is only yapping most will mute him or lower his volume to where they can block it out, some wont even communicate with randoms which is fair ig, but if anyone does that he better be playing in a 4 or 5 stack
it never works ive spent many apex matches arguing over stupid or in awkward silence after muting but if they dont do anything its cause there the same kind of idiot waiting for there turn
I was playing _Left 4 Dead 2_ the other day, and someone out of the blue said "yo, can I get yo snap?". My Steam name is based on my real name, which does sound like a woman's name, but I'm male. I said "I'm a dude. Fuck you". The way he tried and gave up on explaining himself was pretty funny.
Wanna know the easiest way to tell it was? Verbal syntax. Either he married his twin, or his wife/him have the same way of talking. Plus discussing 'assets', women don't normally reason woman to woman about assets. We don't care rofl not unless it's like, a Sex and the City episode. I honestly can say I completely understand her reactions. I as a girl who plays rainbow six siege, have resorted to just not talking in game chat at all because of how rude people can be. I have not played since 2019, burnout. But i used to tell jokes thinking they were harmless, and even though i was never ever even close to this gutter mouth level i feel bad now for some of the jokes. Thank you for sharing, i learned alot, no more jokes from me. Everyone has a right to play with out insults and harrassment.
I think that one of the big issues is that a lot of people probably say things as "jokes" thinking that they are just light-hearted humor, but do not realize that girls have to deal with this all the time and that it is exhausting when you can never just be treated like a normal human being.

I doubt that you read every comment but if you see this I highly recommend the Hunt Showdown. I have over 3k hours in the game and I've had less than 15 toxic teammates in total.

I'm 29 years old and I've been playing online games since I was about 12 and this kind of thing happens all the time.... It's disgusting the denigration they have towards women. It is difficult to handle these situations, I have reached the point of crying because of the things that were said to me until I learned to ignore them (or directly mute them). My husband and I play often and play different games, we have a daughter and I am afraid that she will go through the same thing if she wants to follow our steps and play too. Hopefully this will change at some point.

Growing up, guys really have a talent for making their younger brothers and friends rage quit, tears and all, during a 1v1 video game. It's like a rite of passage I fear no girls/woman will ever understand or enjoy sadly.

I have the same experience, but now I very rarely use voice chat in games, which sucks. I’m impressed with how you persevere through it 😅.
I mean, that's kinda the issues, on higher levels you kinda need to communicate with your team to be actually successful..

I rarely play CS but this type of behavior is exactly why I stopped playing Siege. I doubt that you read every comment but if you see this I highly recommend the Hunt Showdown. I have over 3k hours in the game and I've had less than 15 toxic teammates in total.

Yea I usually say “Holy shit I found something rarer then gold” or something along the lines. I’d have to agree it’s not harassment, just shock or being surprised. Once you start attacking them over their gender for no reason then it crosses the line (unless their being toxic, then anything goes and I mean ANYTHING)
I know this series will always exist because men, but I didn't expect to hear a woman doing it too. That's a little depressing. I have to play in a 3 stack minimum to avoid this kind of behavior, but even those 2 randoms sometimes are POS.

Well, it is true that I play mostly single player games.

She has a lot of viewers but a lot of games have player bases in the tens of millions.

I'm 29 years old and I've been playing online games since I was about 12 and this kind of thing happens all the time.... It's disgusting the denigration they have towards women. It is difficult to handle these situations, I have reached the point of crying because of the things that were said to me until I learned to ignore them (or directly mute them).
My husband and I play often and play different games, we have a daughter and I am afraid that she will go through the same thing if she wants to follow our steps and play too. Hopefully this will change at some point.
