I was there in the GA pit and I wish you guys could hear how this sounded in the room. No cell-phone could ever do it justice. It was like swimming inside of those notes.
I was floored when they played this...love many Radiohead albums but believe it or not OK Computer never really hit me and so this was one song that "slipped through the cracks". Beautiful. Have to relisten to album or at least make this and Lucky part of future Radiohead CD compilations. Was AWE SOME going to both MSG shows : )
OMG the crowd signing the accompanying parts with them in that last part while Thom goes high.... WOW. If they play this night 2 of the Greek I will die happy... they skipped us in Portland!!
One time, years ago, I was flying from Los Angeles on my way home and this song started playing in my mp3 player. For some reason I still can't explain I started crying for my grandma who had died months before and for my uncle who had died of cancer the previous year. I wasn't even thinking about them on the flight, but the music found a way into me and brought out stuff that clearly I hadn't dealt with properly yet. A chemical reaction, perhaps?
