My Mom (now 91) started becoming much less hostile towards the sharing of REAL truth about Jesus and about the Watchtower about three years ago, when her decline started taking root. With her long term memory going (and almost gone now due to dementia), and her short term memory being non-existent after a few minutes, I can share anything with her, and her brain won't retain it (technically, she can't retrieve it). All of the brainwashing isn't being retrieved any more, and it's like I'm dealing with a child who is hearing spiritual truth for the first time. No resistance. Don't give up! We're certainly not. NASA has a list of all eclipses from 2000 bce to 3000 ad. It's just math. Those 29 years of lunar eclipses only happened once in that order, in all of those 5000 years. Those years are 605-576 bce. That means year one of his reign was 605 bce. WT claims it was 625 and they try to dispute other artifacts by casting doubts on their accuracy. There are no doubts with the 38462 tablet. You will also never see WT discuss this tablet. I sent a letter to headquarters and was instantly shunned and "marked"for asking such things. My father is an elder. He loves astronomy. I thought for sure he'd see this and it would sink in. It did not. He said and I quote "NASA has gotten people killed, why would I trust them" I tried to show him that it's just math, NASA isn't the only source to verify the dates on the tablet, they're just free and easy to google! He got angry with me. He said "this sounds like apostate talk" and stormed out of the room. Started saying "Jehovah Jehovah Jehovah " like I said something demonic! What a great point about the only trial in the NT. If Birthdays are prohibited because something bad happened at one thousand six years ago, then certainly trials of any sort should be banned in the Org.

Specially about the sexual abuse of children, and i was speaking with first hand knowledge. I live with my sister in NZ, north island. They live in the south island of NZ, so an expensive trip. One big problem I have with the NWT is that they have changed the name of Jesus to Jehovah ( from the Greek 236 times in the NT) but bless your mom’s heart. She is really looking into and studying the differences. I’ve been studying the organization for years now, and the differences are so subtle that it takes careful examination and open eyes to see and a good memory, mine is fading too. Especially since they keep putting out new material to cover up old changes that hide the lie. It’s gonna catch with them soon. My prayers are with you. I so with I had $ to send you. The judicial system is highly dangerous particularly to children. The elders are not competent and have no idea of the laws of justice. They do not allow the accused person a defence which is highly against scripture. John 7:51 Nicodemus: 'Does our law judge a man without first giving him a hearing and learning what he does?' When you are 'invited' to a judicial hearing you are already guilty in the opinion of the elders without them hearing from you as to a defence.

In the one and only time I did go back to JW i met with the judicial committee and all of their questions and judgements. At that time not long after the meeting the lead elder’s daughter came to pick him up (or something, I don’t remember why she stopped by) when he spoke to her he was so abusive and mean even the other elders blushed. Not very long after this his wife and daughter left him. His wife got a divorce and immediately he got remarried. Man I felt sorry for his new wife. I don’t know what happened because after seeing how he was acting and how others were treating me as if I was just someone to get their time started on I left. I felt like a cheap piece of meat. It was awful!!!
The thing is once you get out of the witnesses and start reading the Bible for what it is and relying upon God to guide you it's amazing how your eyes are opened up to the scriptures

Verses 21-23 Christ said ‘Many’ will say ‘Lord JeSus’ didn’t we perform miracles expell demons etc. but Christ will reject them, and say ‘I NEVER KNEW YOU’ why? Because that is Not his name! So the ‘Many’ on the broad and Spacious call Christ ‘Lord’ and ‘JeSus’ including Jehovah’s witnesses. The Jehovah’s are NOT on the Narrow Path! Acts 13:6-10, James 2:19, Malacai 4:5,6, and John 1:19-27 all prove the name JeSus is NOT HOLY.
Come back to the only Church founded by Jesus Christ, the Holy Catholic Church. The true witness have claims and have proof of our claim. We claim to be founded by Jesus with stories, and tangible proof ( old churches, histories, apostles resting place, relics, etc. of evidences. The Catholic was the one that compiled and organized the bible you are using. Without the Catholic church, their is no bible but just bunch of different books scattered. We are the one that put chapters, verses, translated, and protect it's words from mistranslation. It's not too late, start your research in our church. You can watch Catholic answers, catholic truths, etc.
