I havent ever stopped fishing--I wasnt making vidoes as my previous camera packed up--and this new one is giving me headaches, It is a lot more difficult to switch on and off, and every video is taking hours to edit,
Still fishing yes-- but not doing any videos , I am not pleasure fishing only doing matches, and to be honest I have nothing new to add to what I have already done..
Can one of the fishing tackle manufacturers donate a new keepnet to Derek. Could Mr Skinner please continue more fishing on this stretch on camera and see how the river Steeping developes.
Dont worry about the 40 yr old keepnet, it will still be going strong when all the modern ones have worn out--I dragged it out of retirement a couple years ago--I prefer to use it as it lies in the water in the river much better than the newer ones which tend to collapse,, I do have others which I use in stillwaters in the summer. I am not doing any pleasure fishing at the moment , busy with matches, but will film a couple of sessions for you. towards the end of the river season
Hi Derek good to see you back again fishing. Keep the videos coming. Really enjoyed your others.

Great to see you back on the bank think dredging will be for the better just give it time.
I think the fact that the river had no movement on it made it fish a lot harder, it will be very interesting to see how it fishes with a steady flow.
Still fishing Derick ? Miss your videos.
