As someone who came from the town of St. Mary’s Kansas, this song speaks a lot to me. The church here only gives the women here so many ideas of what they can be. Mom,therapist, nurse, teacher,or a nun. I know I didn’t want to be that. I know no one else in that town wanted to be that either. We have to be submissive to our men, we do all the work in the house and he doesn’t lift a finger when he gets home, they don’t expect the men to help out with the kids, the man simply works and comes home and does nothing. He’ll teach the kids some life lessons when he wants to. But other than that, the men shouldn’t have to do anything. But they encourage the men to go out and explore the world while they tell the girls in that town to sit and stay and wait for a man to take interest. They separate the boys and the girls in that school and both will get in trouble if one gender talks to another because it would be considered a sin. The girls will be so socially awkward when it comes to talking to the guys because they wouldn’t be able to talk to them until they finished their school in that catholic town. I’m so glad I left it all behind. I have a wonderful men who encourages me to be independent and do my own thing while he does his.
Actually, my church was just fine (in fact they were quite supportive) of my dreams to be in the military, and they encourage men to be in the children's life
The very end part was so powerful. I felt my ancestors rage and anguish through my veins. I may have transitioned, but I’ll always have my mother’s blood. I am angry.
I am a trans man and adore this song. Yes, I get treated differently now because I pass as a cisgender man but I remember the treatment I would get as a young woman. This song speaks very deeply to me. “It’s not an act of love if you make her” absolutely! Say it louder for those who cannot hear it in the back!
You know exactly how it feels. Makes you an even better man, quite honestly. An incredibly understanding person. Anyway - Sending you much love! This song spoke greatly to me as well.

@@purelightapologetics4930 Um, are you talking to me or Sadie (the person who commented above)? Lol. Because I’m a grown ass man with a full beard and deep ass voice. Lmao. I am a man and I don’t believe in god. So, please do not push your religious beliefs onto me. I’m okay with you sharing your religion with me. That’s completely okay. However, what I will not tolerate is when you use your religion to make me believe that something is wrong me with me, I’m sinning, etc. I AM myself. I am more me than I ever have been. You do not know me nor do you know my life. So, again, please don’t push your religious ideologies onto me. I don’t believe in the Judeo-Christian god. I don’t believe in any god. It’s okay that you do. That’s chill. I just don’t. Even though I am not religious, I have studied the religion for multiple years of my life. I grew up in the church. My grandfather is the pastor, my mother is an ordained minister, my late step-father was a hospital chaplain, I grew up in Sunday schools, multiple churches, I was in church 6 days out of the week because of different youth groups, etc. I was in the church more than I was out of it. Then when I grew up and figured things out, I questioned more. That was not welcomed. So, I was kicked out of multiple churches. Then I later joined religious classes and would read about the histories of religious texts, where each verse came from, what was written out of the Judeo-Christian bible, what was added, etc. NO WHERE in the original bible did it say that being transgender or homosexual was a sin. Homosexuality wasn’t considered a sin until 1946. I welcome you to watch the documentary called “1946: The Mistranslation That Shifted Culture”. In regard to transgender, non-binary, and just any other form of third gender people being sinful, that is not true. Deuteronomy 22:5 is not talking about trans people. Some are convinced that forbidding the Hebrew people from dressing in clothes associated with a gender different than their own was a way to be set apart from Canaanite and Syrian religion where this phenomena was a part of certain worship rituals. Other scholars believe the prohibition was more of a way to reinforce previous instructions from the Torah that forbid the mixing of different linens. As it was not pure. Trans people giving people names that align with themselves more isn’t sinful either. We’re naming ourselves more to align with ourselves. As you know as a Christian woman, Jesus did this with his followers. He would give them a new name. One that fit who they were as people now. They would no longer be known by the name they were known as prior. Everyone respected that. (Genesis 32:28; Numbers 13:16; Matthew 16:17-18) Jesus WAS accepting of, SUPPORTED, and LOVED ALL third gender people. He welcomed one of the eunuchs into the church and to be baptised with no questions asked. You may have heard of Eunuchs? (Deuteronomy 23:1; Isaiah 56:1-8; Matthew 19:12; Acts 8:26-40). Eunuchs were not just a group of people assigned male at birth who had their genitals cut off. Typically that’s what it was associated with. However, no, these people were also people who may have also been intersex (I am naturally hormonally intersex. That was even before I start taking Testosterone. It’s just how I was born). Eunuchs were also people who simply didn’t align themselves with the culture and actions of men & women strictly. Scholars believe that they were good examples of ancient forms of transgender people in scripture and showing how the ways they were treated reflects how us trans people get treated in society today. You’ll find that in Deuteronomy 23:1. Eunuchs could and were allowed to alternate between women’s and men’s garbs, tasks, public and private spaces, etc. The Persian and Babylonian cultures saw this as completely okay and normal. However Palestine (since Israel was officially and “legally” founded in 1948. The historical documents place the name of the country as Palestine. They are called Israelites because of the man named Israel. The people of Israel were the people led by him. The country itself wasn’t named that until 1948.) anyways, I digress. It was looked down upon by those people. Whereas Persian and Babylonian people just saw it as normal. Similar to how Greeks didn’t view gay people as weird per se. It wasn’t even called being gay. If you topped/dominated a man or a woman or were simply in a relationship with a more feminine man or a woman then you were just seen as more manly. If you were the feminine man who was dominated and you “bottomed” then you were just seen as more feminine in their culture. Once the people of “Israel” were freed from captivity, several prophets, including Isaiah, guide them in the rebuilding of their homeland. In Isaiah 56:1-8 God speaks through Isaiah and says that even though Deuteronomy 23 outlawed the participation of eunuchs in Israelite society, in the “new Israel” they will have a special place--God says, “I will give, in my house and within my walls, a monument and a name better than sons and daughters; I will give them an everlasting name that shall not be cut off” (Isaiah 56:5. This is in the New Revised Standard Version of the bible.) This prophecy has not been fulfilled however. So, God (The Father) stated that He would welcome them into His house. He didn’t discriminate against the Eunuch people here. They are WELCOMED into The House of The Lord. NOT rejected. Jesus mentions in Matthew that there are multiple kinds of Eunuchs. Those who have been so from birth/were born that way, some who made Eunuchs by others, and those who made themselves Eunuchs for the sake of the kingdom of heaven. So, it’s speculated that the first is talking about trans and intersex people, the second is discussing those who were castrated by force, and we are uncertain of whom the third category is talking about. Jesus was VERY open about discussing the Eunuch people and never said or did anything to denigrate them. In Acts, Jesus baptised a Eunuch man who felt that he wasn’t worthy of being baptised because he was both non-Israelite and not a man. He was Ethiopian and a Eunuch. Jesus Baptised him anyway without a word. He didn’t ask for anything in return. He asked nothing of Philip. He just baptised him and welcomed him into the early Christian Church. So, with all of that being said, even if I WAS religious. I did not choose this. Jesus would accept me and love me as a I am. A MAN. NOT a woman. I would be his son. NOT his daughter. I would have a seat at the table of heaven just like anyone else. YOU are NOT the voice of God. You are not the final say. It’s not your place to make judgments of other’s lives. Your job as a Christian is to love thy neighbour as you would yourself. Do not refer to me by terms that I do not identify with because YOU think that’s what god would do. No one knows God. No one has shaken hands with him in the modern age. No one has grabbed a drink with him. It’s not our job to speak for them. If you want to cherrypick what verses you use against people then you shouldn’t be eating any form of shellfish, technically no pork, you shouldn’t like any form of celebrity, you shouldn’t be wearing 99.9% of the shirts you wear (it’s mixed linen), people who were divorced back then were stoned, etc. So, PLEASE, for the love of that’s good and holy, RESEARCH your beliefs, your scriptures, etc. That way you don’t make hurtful statements like these and so you can expand your knowledge as a whole on your religion. I wish you a good night and pleasant week. Your God loves me as the man I am. I’ll leave you a nice quote for you to think about regarding trans people and god, “God blessed me by making me trans for the same reason God made wheat but not bread and fruit but not wine, so that humanity might share in the divine act of creation.” 💛💛💛

Women bear the image of God, same as men. I will not capitulate with the lies that our culture is spreading. You know what you’re saying about the Bible is not true. The fact that you have to work so hard to make it feel true to you should tell you all you need to know. I’m sorry that they didn’t treat you well. I’m sorry that they didn’t handle your questions well. There’s no life in the road you’re going down. You can turn around. You can become the person you were meant to be. There is grace and hope for you. God does love you as the person He made you: a woman.

I feel agony for the Pakistani women who were forced to get married, I feel agony for the Pakistani women who were forced to have kids, I feel agony for the Pakistani women who go through pre-natal or post-partum depression and get told their feelings don't matter, I feel bad for Pakistani women who were forced to quit their jobs in the name of Islam, which in reality, was culture. What choice is being taken away? The "right" to murder a BABY? Because I hate to break it to your woke @ss, but the child has a heartbeat at a VERY early age, it has a heartbeat before most women even know they're pregnant
Try this song into this music --- **Lyrics:** (Chorus) You can't bring me down, you can't break me, Everything you did just makes me stronger. Through the pain and the threats, I won't stop, I'll succeed, I'll be stronger! (Verse 1) When you tore me down, when you mistreated me, Every insult was just fuel for my fire. Your words are empty, your intentions are false, Inside is a flame that never fades away. (Chorus) You can't bring me down, you can't break me, Everything you did just makes me stronger. Through the pain and the threats, I won't stop, I'll succeed, I'll be stronger! (Verse 2) While you belittled me, I kept rising, Every blow was a boost for my growth. Now I stand firm, with no fear or shame, Your power can’t stop this will of mine. (Chorus) You can't bring me down, you can't break me, Everything you did just makes me stronger. Through the pain and the threats, I won't stop, I'll succeed, I'll be stronger! (Bridge) Dreams are my guides, not your criticisms, Through every challenge, I’m closer to my wins. You won’t bring me down, you won’t break me, My name will be heard, through all these storms. (Chorus) You can't bring me down, you can't break me, Everything you did just makes me stronger. Through the pain and the threats, I won't stop, I'll succeed, I'll be stronger! (Verse 3) Every scar is a testament to my journey, Each battle fought made me who I am. I’ve turned every wound into a story, A testament of strength, a tale of triumph. (Chorus) You can't bring me down, you can't break me, Everything you did just makes me stronger. Through the pain and the threats, I won't stop, I'll succeed, I'll be stronger! (Verse 4) Now the shadows fade, and light fills the space, I rise above with every step I take. Your shadows are gone, and I’m standing tall, My spirit is unyielding, I will not fall. (Chorus) You can't bring me down, you can't break me, Everything you did just makes me stronger. Through the pain and the threats, I won't stop, I'll succeed, I'll be stronger! ---

I’m so glad I left it all behind. I have a wonderful men who encourages me to be independent and do my own thing while he does his.
Actually, my church was just fine (in fact they were quite supportive) of my dreams to be in the military, and they encourage men to be in the children's life
Love this song. Hearing and listening to the lyrics makes me realize and open my eyes to a while new world on how everything is.
@@sadiehelen This comment really made me happy. Thank you so much for saying this. It really means a lot. I always try my best to be courteous, kind, and understanding of the women and other people in my life because of how they get viewed and treated by society. It’s wrong and shouldn’t be that way. Hopefully, things will change with time but for now, I’ll just do my best to make women and other people feel safe and heard around me. [: 💛
Oh sister! I pray you come to peace with who God made you to be.
(Genesis 32:28; Numbers 13:16; Matthew 16:17-18)
Jesus WAS accepting of, SUPPORTED, and LOVED ALL third gender people.
This is in the New Revised Standard Version of the bible.)
This prophecy has not been fulfilled however.
I’ll leave you a nice quote for you to think about regarding trans people and god, “God blessed me by making me trans for the same reason God made wheat but not bread and fruit but not wine, so that humanity might share in the divine act of creation.”
💛💛💛
@ Clearly, you’re the one that thinks something is wrong with you. That’s why you mutilated your own body. Real men have y chromosomes. There is nothing wrong with being a woman.
God does love you as the person He made you: a woman.
this is song makes me cry
the Pakistani women out there being forced to do stuff in the name of Islam. nowhere in Islam does it say women exist to give themselves away, and nowhere in Islam does it say youre not Muslim if you don't marry and have kids. that's all culture. as a Pakistani who will right for her rights, I feel agony for the Pakistani women who couldn't and we're forced to crush their own dreams, and destroy themselves for their husbands and kids. I feel bad for Pakistani women who were forced to stay in abusive relationships because "who will support you if you leave?" "what would people say about you, a divorced woman?". I feel dread for all women.
Who ever mentioned Pakistan?
@@oj1291 no one, im spreading awareness about the women there. its similar to the song.
@@alishba_cat I think you mean Afghanistan not Pakistan lol
@@oj1291 nope, im pakistani and this is happening in pakistan also
@@alishba_cat Thats not true, Pakistani women aren’t forced to cover their heads, they can get abortions, there is free mixing, nightclubs, etc. Especially if you go to the big cities like Lahore, everyone is modernized

The fact that they missed this opportunity as a theme for hand maids tale - side note it's awful to have had a relationship like this
I know the world will never change. And its making me tired 😔
The fact that there are still countries where women have no rights 😢
real 😢
“It’s not an act of love if you make her”.
SAY IT LOUDER FOR THE PEOPLE IN THE BACK
Anyone seen ‘the handsmaid tale’ this hits hard
yes but the Handmaid's Tale protagonist does nothing tho
Yes
It’ll be okay guys we impeached him once he’ll mess up and we will do it again
And then fail again
And the gas prices and inflation with just go up again, I don't know, maybe its just me, but I like to spend less money😋 so let's not fu¢k with what we have while its good

The labour isn't the 9-5, it's the 24/7 with no break.
Wow, the most powerful song to change humans!!
Just incase you need to hear it…. I did run and now have a beautiful confident young woman as a daughter ❤
The overlapping part >>>
First heard this on a social media platform. It’s a sad reality 😢😢
Anyone from 2024 listening to this song ????
The end gave me chills.
I relate ,😢
Aww. If this song is relatable, I’m so, so sorry! I’m sure, things will get better! You are a very strong, wonderful person! Have a good day 😊❤
PREACH
Every time I think about marrying someone extremely wealthy, I come back to this song
the capillaries in my eyes are bursting
if our love died, would it be the worst thing?
for somebody I thought was my saviour
you make me do a whole lot of labour
the callous skin on my skins is cracking
if our love ended, will that be a bad thing?
as the silent haunts our bed chamber
you make me do too much labour
all day, every day, therapist, mother, maid
nymph when a virgin, nurse and a servant
just appendage, live to attend him
so that he never lift a finger
24/7 baby machine
so he can live out his picket fence dream
it's not an act of love if you make her
you make me do too much labour
(SORRY IF IT'S A BIT)
LOUDER!!!!!! 🎉
Everyone should share this on all their socials. Just saying. 😢❤😅
Escaped Generational trauma thank God!!!!🙏🙏🙏
One of the reasons why I don't really have any desire to get married
although im a guy and havent really been in that kind of relationship i think its a great song and i can still relate heavily to the orginal meaning because i understand but for me i replace the person she talks about with the system of modern society/classism ect instead and it fits great lol
I was actually just thinking about that. I stand for 10 hours a day while my manager is on vacation. It's not a free market if it's coercive; it's not an act of love if you make her.
My first love sent me here.
My daughter requested this! She’s 5 but often hears me singing this song.
If you want the ending, its 2:43
We should make men listen to this to show them times have changed
Sometimes I hate being a woman. I have a wonderful husband, but this applies to every man I've ever given all of myself to without any recognition.
GEN Z BOSS IN A MINI ANTHEM!
Is it wrong that I can’t but help recognize my mom in these lyrics.
What a beautiful song❤❤
I’m choreographing a contemporary dance to this because it’s such a good message (it shows the inequality between men and women in relationships)
Im the oldest so i can relate to this song.

I know… it’s gonna be a great next 4 years!
recently this song has become the anthem for girls all over the world. I'm so sorry american woman. It makes me feel sick to the stomach to think about us not having choices with our bodies.
What choice is being taken away? The "right" to murder a BABY? Because I hate to break it to your woke @ss, but the child has a heartbeat at a VERY early age, it has a heartbeat before most women even know they're pregnant
@Aizawasimp2.0 The same liberals want a gun ban but don't mind taking a baby life away
We're not oppressed in America. We have the same rights as every man. Look at Afghanistan's women. They're oppressed over there.

**Lyrics:**
(Chorus)
You can't bring me down, you can't break me,
Everything you did just makes me stronger.
Through the pain and the threats, I won't stop,
I'll succeed, I'll be stronger!
(Verse 1)
When you tore me down, when you mistreated me,
Every insult was just fuel for my fire.
Your words are empty, your intentions are false,
Inside is a flame that never fades away.
(Chorus)
You can't bring me down, you can't break me,
Everything you did just makes me stronger.
Through the pain and the threats, I won't stop,
I'll succeed, I'll be stronger!
(Verse 2)
While you belittled me, I kept rising,
Every blow was a boost for my growth.
Now I stand firm, with no fear or shame,
Your power can’t stop this will of mine.
(Chorus)
You can't bring me down, you can't break me,
Everything you did just makes me stronger.
Through the pain and the threats, I won't stop,
I'll succeed, I'll be stronger!
(Bridge)
Dreams are my guides, not your criticisms,
Through every challenge, I’m closer to my wins.
You won’t bring me down, you won’t break me,
My name will be heard, through all these storms.
(Chorus)
You can't bring me down, you can't break me,
Everything you did just makes me stronger.
Through the pain and the threats, I won't stop,
I'll succeed, I'll be stronger!
(Verse 3)
Every scar is a testament to my journey,
Each battle fought made me who I am.
I’ve turned every wound into a story,
A testament of strength, a tale of triumph.
(Chorus)
You can't bring me down, you can't break me,
Everything you did just makes me stronger.
Through the pain and the threats, I won't stop,
I'll succeed, I'll be stronger!
(Verse 4)
Now the shadows fade, and light fills the space,
I rise above with every step I take.
Your shadows are gone, and I’m standing tall,
My spirit is unyielding, I will not fall.
(Chorus)
You can't bring me down, you can't break me,
Everything you did just makes me stronger.
Through the pain and the threats, I won't stop,
I'll succeed, I'll be stronger!

I agree but apparently this statement is very wrong as women do such things as well. Not as much as men, but they do…
I think of the poor women in Afghan when I listen to this song. I feel like this song was made for them. Recently they prohibited a woman from speaking in public, and did you know that the suicide for women in that country is statistically higher?
Better have this on your feminine rage playlist and if you don't have that playlist... You should.
