Jeff, that move with the cannon in the mineral line is pretty common and is the suggested tactic for countering 6pools. However, if you FFE if you just place your first pylon and forge in such a way that they nestle the cannon, then drop a gateway and pylon before the Zerglings get there (you can afford it) you can hold off the rush with no losses at all. I know how to do it on every map but I'd have to SHOW you. I suggest experimenting :)
Jeff and Adam, just to clarify something; the cannon in the mineral line does nothing once you have three probes per the two patches it is blocking. Because the third probe you put on the mineral field makes about 5% difference in income, so the extra time that the cannon makes the probes travel from the patch to the nexus makes virtually no difference...

The creep tumors are invisible when they have rooted down, yes, but when they are still morphing in, at that point they are visible. Opponent can destroy the invisible tumors accidentally by splash damage, for example from Siege Tank or Hellion fire, possibly Templar Storms and Colossi Lances as well.

What game were you watching? That guy took 10 stalkers and killed double their supply... He also macro'd off the back. The protoss had around 75 supply at the beginning of the attack and ended with 59, though he fought until the last stalker. Lagtv are raving about no macro, then go back to his base and see like 5 buildings finishing up with both bases fully saturated and neither nexus on full chrono. Maybe lagtv were getting high around the end of this cast?
you havent seen many then, theres a couple where he leaves the mic, slams doors, primal screams and then comes back, all while jeff is trying to commentate whilst nearly wetting himself laughing.
it was closer to 20 stalkers, and he killed all the zerglings and queens you are talking about in the first 30 - 40 seconds of the push, then he decides lets go on for another 5 minutes and during that time the trade off was terrible. Jeff was merely looking at the supply drop and not come back up, because normally when you have minerals you should be able to replace units almost instantaneously.
I think you guys misconstrued that Stalker blink attack back then. You act like he did nothing, but he knew that he had a full infrastructure up, and traded a few stalkers for all of the zerg's drones and zerglings. So, at the end of that battle, as you mention, it was 30 probes to 3 drones, with the zerg having no army. Given that the zerg was being a d-bag and wouldn't just leave when it was clearly over, the Protoss knew that he needed a brute force army to steamroll a line of spines.
Finally a new WCF! And a great start to the new season. But I'm wondering, what happened to the fail sign? I haven't seen that one in a long time. Hope to see it used more this season.

Zerg can do this to lower league players with little to no chances of losing. Defending six pool is doable, but the macro of 6ling into 18hatch is literally good enough to be ahead of toss after the 6lings. Regardless of any damage done to the toss
I agree you miss-read what Mod did. he gutted the zerg and saw all the spines. He could not have taken all those out. Since the guy did not quit after that, safest bet, not knowing if he has other bases, was to death ball it.

Then he went ahead and got himself a ~60 supply worth of blink stalkers + immortals army. Please explain to me how's that a bad thing?
