Every single time I didn't listen to my gut, I got in trouble. Even before I came to Christ. I was in 3 extremely abusive relationships & nearly lost my life not listening to my gut. I had 2 horrific narc/witches in my life who treated me like garbage. At first they were nice but my gut said something was wrong. Live and learn, y'all.

I had a voice a month ago saying Move and Be Diligent and ever since then the enemy has been so oppressive. I was diagnosed with PTSD many years ago from childhood traumas and on....and having trauma nightmares was the enemies way to " distract " from the gift of God he gave me because I've always had prophetic dreams , good & bad , some warnings. There's definitely, always a spiritual alignment and if we stay close to the Lord he stays closer. Hallelujah , and it doesn't always " make sense" in the natural. He knows my stubborn butt needs confirmation and usually gives me signs. Sometimes, I still question lol he knows I've been a hot mess and his love is so precious 💕 🙏🙌💜💛🐛🦋🎶💃

One of my friend's was just telling me that her ex/the father of her first baby stole her phone and her car. She NEVER wears shirts under her sweater, but she felt God was telling her to on that day. She confronted him and they got into a screaming match. He threw drugs on her (one of the main reasons they aren't together anymore is that he is a drug dealer) right as the cops were turning onto the street. She quickly took her hoodie off and was wearing a clean shirt when the cops started to talk to them. All because she listened when God told her to wear a clean shirt under her sweater.
That's the Holy Spirit talking and guiding us. I usually adhere to it. I remember my mother used to say the same thing you said, always follow your first mind. The last time I said this was with my ex, our first date was abysmal, and I started not to break it off. Ironically, I listened to my mother and also, I wanted to give him a second chance because he was a decent guy. I wish I would've "followed my first mind" though. He wasn't a bad guy, but he was a waste of time. But it doesn't matter now, I'm married and there were no hesitancies when I met my husband, it was full steam ahead. Amen.

One time, I was at a Christian leadership camp (this was like ten years ago). I had this strong bad feeling about another girl that was there. Everyone seemed to adore but she just radiated disingenuousness and "bad" to me. I couldn't figure out why no one else felt what I felt and why people were saying she was really nice. One day, we were playing a pool game and she yanked my hair back, open my mouth WIDE, while we were underwater! I started having a bad coughing fit and the life guard didn't see it and he assumed I was coughing because I couldn't swim -_- (even though I had been swimming for eleven years at that point and lived near a lake).
This is me everyday. And I wonder why I be feeling a certain way about something and I catch myself pondering until I start realizing something kept bothering me and I can't sleep or my peace was always disturbed. I started being more discerning until I'm happy that I did or didn't do something.

I have not angered him! I was mad at myself! God is so good and his grace, mercy and love sustains me. I am hard on myself when I do mess up!
