Besides murder she made that first little girl an orphan. Her mother had died and now she killed her father. Unspeakable cruelty. Why not just separate?
Was she in the habit of carrying a gun? Was it her gun or the gun he used to shoot the poor ceiling? She was heading out the door when he grabbed her; she had to have been carrying the gun as she wouldn't have had the time to do anything else. Just some of my thoughts for what they're worth.
Why would anyone marry someone they have known for only 13 days? Why did he wait until after he married Ashley to tell his daughter about her? Why did the Ballet business fail so quickly? What was the life insurance situation? So many questions.

He told his daughter that he would never marry again and two weeks later he was married to this woman that he just met. I hope there is justice for Doug and his family.
What’s the podcast?? I am interested to listen
Looks like you support domestic abusers.
Let's hope
Thank you, most interesting and educational. Professor J is super easy to comprehend the Florida law in this case and is a delightful orator. Fabulous xx
Gives new meaning to the phrase Dance of Death.
Besides murder she made that first little girl an orphan. Her mother had died and now she killed her father. Unspeakable cruelty. Why not just separate?
Excellent interview! ❤
He is 30 YEARS older. C'mon... They meet the very first time and 14 days later they marry? C'mon...
Guilty, guilty!
She was a momma's girl and didn't want to share their child. That's why she killed him. Hopefully the jury will see through her lies.
Was she in the habit of carrying a gun? Was it her gun or the gun he used to shoot the poor ceiling? She was heading out the door when he grabbed her; she had to have been carrying the gun as she wouldn't have had the time to do anything else.
Just some of my thoughts for what they're worth.
Same questions I have…. I need some answers 😮
There was no fixing that relationship
Professor Jules Epstein is so good at explaining the details of the charges.
2:34 that's so sad.. 😢
Nobody is saying at what point did she pick up a gun. Was it her gun? Did she have it in her hands before the fighting started? Did he have a gun?
How is this person, WHO KILLED HER HUSBAND, not in jail AND she has access to her small child. I don't understand this world. Ugh
Why would anyone marry someone they have known for only 13 days? Why did he wait until after he married Ashley to tell his daughter about her? Why did the Ballet business fail so quickly? What was the life insurance situation? So many questions.
Ashley pushed him to marry so her plotting conniving murder scheme could move ahead as she needed $$$$. See Ashleys broke and living off of her mommy. She found her next sugar daddy victim.
Cos ya desperate for a mate he didn’t want his daughters opinion and her dancing was crap as for life insurance we have no info just a human car wreck made by to sad folk looking for happy most humans hunt for happy
Poor guy, like Travis Alexander, wasn't able to spot a psycho and paid with his life.
Excellent video - Professor Epstein is fabulous - explaining complicated legal questions viewers grasp and understand. Thank you both...
🎵🎶 She had opened up three buttons on her shirt so far,
I guess that's why I didn't notice that police car! 🎵🎶
Ugh - it’s so annoying when someone who claims to be a legal expert acts like men don’t kill women all the time, and that women experience so much greater threat than just “someone visiting your house.”
Seems like she just got tired of having to walk on her tippy toes.
Poor people kill each other and remain in jail, rich people kill each other and get out on bond and live their lives.. This system is a joke and needs reform for the people!
So there should be no bond?
I think you mean the rich people should give the poor people some money to bond out.
She’s using $100K of her dead husbands money otherwise, she’d never be not bonded out.
My first question is... Why did she have a gun in her hand in the first place ??
Guilty. Next ...
LET HER GO!!!! SHE IS CRYING SO HARD
Jules Epstein seems like he'd be a great professor. My criminal law professor was great too. Professor Diamond ❤
I'm glad they touched on the judge "giving his opinion." Because a lawyer doing the exact same thing....wouldn't be allowed to do or say what they think...it would be thrown out.
*How outrageous of him to throw that into the mix!* NOT a good judge IMO
She killed him, she had a gun, he did not. How was she threatened with a gun in her hand? Guilty!
Typical republican, always blaming women.
Dude, how do you even KNOW for sure that Doug is the father of Ashley's baby?? He may be, but why would you assume that given the age difference, and problems in their relationship??
I love this professor!!
I would like to know how far away from her he was when shot..
There will be a lot of dead people in FL without convicts for committed killings with no permit open carry and stand your ground defense 🤦♀️
It'll be like the wild west again but way worse!
Is this really the best legal expert available?
