Did TWO Narcissistic people meet and marry and Implode: one a DIVA Ballerina-Narcissist; the other a Narcissistic former military man/technology businessman? Or did a selfish narcissistic ballerina merely see a means to aggrandize her dream of her own company thru this husband's business acumen only to see her start up disintegrate and fail, then dream up a plan to "off him"? Or, although there is no evidence to indicate, did this man/husband, a vulnerable narcissist, indeed have a history of domestic violence, that was unknowingly and unreportedly carried out in his first relationship...and now subsequently surfacing in his second relationship??

The daughter said Ashley basically was using her dad the whole time they were together - the man invested in her own ballerina company which failed bc after she got pregnant she stopped showing up at all after they had already contractually singed on several dancers.

I tell you this sounds like the classic gold digger murder. We have a rich newly widowed man in his fifties and here is a twenty something making him feel young again. They marry in two weeks but don’t invite his family. She has him reverse his vasectomy and gets pregnant. Now he is more valuable dead then alive because she will be guaranteed to inherit through her daughter. She messed up not making sure to shoot him in the front not the back.

I'd like to hear if there is any history of DV with Doug. Cause this sounds like a gold digger that didn't get what she wanted, including control of the kid, so she killed him. That being said, I haven't heard much about this case yet. But with some of her shadiness already, I'm skeptical.
Edit: Also with her story, how did she get the gun. At what point did she get it?

Her story sounds a bit suspect but I don't think I could convict her based on what I just heard.

There are several true crime podcasts regarding this case. Doug was left to pay for and manage the sinking ship of a ballet company after Ashley became pregnant, despite the fact that he knew nothing about ballet or managing dancers. He told his daughter that he would never marry again and two weeks later he was married to this woman that he just met. I hope there is justice for Doug and his family.
