Update for anyone curious: today they announced that they are bringing MySims back! I genuinely never thought this day would come but I’m insanely hyped. Thanks for all the love and support on this video, it was one of my favorites to make when I first started UA-cam ❤

Hell , I even have my copies of the original and Agents signed by Buddy’s voice actor! I really hope since they have collectibles and various characters in The Sims 4 that one day we’ll see them on the switch.
I always thought dj candy was the coolest as a kid, and always made my avatar look like her like we were sisters or best friends that liked to match each other.

I never finished the game because the puzzles were too hard for my little child brain, but I’ll never forget how fun and cute it was. There was so much personality to it.
I had the first MySims on DS, and it’s a very different game. It’s set in a different town with different characters. Which made it weird when I played Kingdom on the Wii.

I literally think about this game once a month and get so hyped just thinking of it coming back. such a big part of my childhood, really helped me express myself imaginatively as well as engage my imagination.
My mind has dwelt on this game for MONTHS now, and it's suuuuuch a relief to find other people who valued it just as deeply back in the day as I did. I truly believe they'd sown the seeds of a successful series and just needed to build on the foundation that the original and Kingdom had produced, combine it with the clever writing from Agents, and it would've gone gold. With any luck, we'll at least see a remaster/remake at some point in time. But for now, I'll cling happily to videos like these, reflecting on what was one a million dollar concept ❤

I searched for "MySims DS" Because I wanted to know why nobody ever talks about it, then I found the video "Why Does Nobody Talk About MySims". I'm glad I'm not the only one.
man this came up at my youtube page and now i miss it again. i can still play mysims and mysims kingdom on the wii tho so that's cool. they were my favorite games as a kid
Now to this day, I am so glad to still be one of those very rare/small majority of people who still remembers this franchise. It'll always and forever be the best series of my childhood. I recently just did some heavy searching and ordered MySims and MySims Kingdom (Nintendo DS) just to experience the nostalgia again

I forgot this game even existed for a while until I saw MySims is getting ported to Switch. I was obsessed with them when I was younger and put a ton of time into Kingdom.
When I was little, I was so devastated by the cliffhanger ending of MySims Agents that my grandfather emailed EA. He asked when a sequel would be released, and they responded saying that Skyheroes was released to serve as the sequel.

YES! Finally someone talking about my all--time favorite childhood games. I remember a few years agoi actually revisited the game (kingdom and agents) and it was suh a nice feeling to be able to actually complete the games, as i was a kid last time i played it haha!
Still remember playing MySims back in the old days as a kid which did liked it, but when MySims Agents came out loved it not only because it was more story-driven, but also had a mystery that needed to be solved. Which honestly think that the MySims series won’t come back in the present time, and be successful than it was in the older days. Which would be surprised if not only it comes back in today’s world, but also be successful as it was, unlike those who would call it the “worst” series, and might even call MySims series a “ripoff” of Sims and try to get MySims disliked in today’s world.
Can we talk about the Evening music in MySims Kingdom for the DS? So nostalgic and I only just realized how close Animal Crossing and MySims are kinda... No wonder both games hold a special place in my heart!
I got this game as a child many years ago and it had captivated me immediantly. I kept forgetting about it at some point, starting new cities every few years as soon as I began remembering this gem again. Now I'm working on my fourth city, actually set on finishing the game this time! And no matter how often I start anew, it just keeps being insanely entertaining. I just hope the old CD won't give up anytime soon.
Kingdom + agents were my favorite games ever growing up.... I started replaying agents years ago but then my mom gave away our wii and all the games with it
You forgot to mention MySims Racing and Party but I guess they were just simpler spin-offs that still had some love in them. Anyway, I’m glad to come across this. I actually discovered this series from an an old friend back in my high school years and I got pretty attached to the characters especially Buddy. They were all pretty interesting to me and I thought it was a good spin-off from the Sims. I’m glad to see more in the fandom for it as last I checked a couple years back there wasn’t much to offer in terms of fanfics, fanart, etc. and I hope one day these games could at least get a rerelease for maybe the Switch and see how it goes. Doubt we’ll get a new game, but I would love to see them surprise me!
the mysims games are so so so good!!! thank u for making this video!!! i still play the og and kingdom sometimes (though very rarely nowadays) on my old wii. i really should complete them some day, never did as a kid, but maybe now i'll find inspiration to do it. really wish more people remembered these games. they still hold up really well.
I loved this game so much when I was little, I played it for years! Poppy, DJ Candy, chef, Bud and so many others are my favourites, I unfortunately can’t play it anymore
Loved playing Mysims Kingdom and Agents. Getting your own island in Kingdom was so dope. The soundtrack for Agents stays in my mind until this day especially the music at the ski lodge so cozy
I don’t remember much about my sims besides loving it, I played it on my Wii when I was younger. I remember my favorite character being some ghost who would wonder around at night. When I was a kid I loved just doing kind interactions with them and you’d get the ghost items. I didn’t care about it though, I just liked being friendly with a ghost.
thanks for making this video dude, is really cool and interesting that so many others enjoyed this game as much as I did as a kid. playing through mysims agents again now because it’s the goat
I remember I had the spy one on dsi it was one of my favorite childhood games along with sims 2. Thank god sims 4 put the characters in the game as decorations as a nod to this amazing game.
So glad to see people still talk of MySims to this day! I would love Switch ports and the series to be continued, especially a sequel to agents but you're right that it's unlikely. I've been an avid sim player since I was 6, from the main series, MySims and even SimAnimals! I'm currently adding more MySims characters to my Sims 4 Save, such as Buddy, Poppy and her sister Violet. I even added Dogwood & Weather as their pets! I really want to replay the games after watching this vid, and tbh, likely will lmao. Thank you so much for reminding me of my love for this game yet again and sharing your love for it with others! Random perhaps, but wanted to add that my first youtube account and Minecraft account is literally called MiniCrash1 which is a nickname you get given in Skyheroes LOL this series made so much impact on my tiny kid brain and my still tiny adult but still a kid brain still loves it haha
I enjoyed this game a lot as a kid. I was just made aware that there was an Isaac Clarke outfit. I remember seeing it in the menu with no idea what it was. Years later, now that I have played Dead Space 1, 2 and in a few days the Dead Space remake, I find it so cool that the devs put that in even though hardly any kid would know who it was.
Yeah, Visceral (the game studio that was behind MySims and the OG Dead Space) thought it was a good idea to put a character from an M rated game to a wholesome family-friendly game. I believe Shepard from Mass Effect was also in the game. Putting characters from mature games in kid-friendly games makes zero sense in my opinion.
mysims kingdom easily became my favorite game on the wii as a kid, and revisiting it recently has been a lot of fun. i remember seeing commercials for agents, but i never got the chance to play it
I loved MySims so much when it came out, but that was years ago and I was so much younger :D that's probably also why I wasn't thinking about it anymore :D but yea, I have a lot of fond memories of those games ^^
wow I wish I could try this game lol. And also, congrats on getting so many subs!!! Your content is extremely entertaining and seems like the content of a 1+ mil sub youtuber!
I'm in my mid-50s and only recently discovered this game. I got a Wii last April, picked up the original Raving Rabbids (had had that when I lived for a while on the west coast with my husband), and had a great time with that and some other games. Then I came across the original MySims in a vintage toy shop, bought it for the heck of it, played it ... and got hooked forevermore. I find it hard to believe that I'm so addicted to it at my age, but I think that, as a writer who enjoys creating my own little universes to the smallest detail, the building aspect of the game really speaks to that. I love designing the house exteriors, and have recently been experimenting with sculptures -- especially walls to separate the two sections of the large living/kitchen areas in houses, and stairs (after I saw the ones in Dr. F's lab). It's a shame this series is so long out of production. It's huge fun and I'm constantly going back and finding something new about it. So far I have MySims and MySims Kingdom, and thanks to this video, I'll soon order MySims Agents.
This was my favorite game when I was younger. Everything about it made me feel amazing and I enjoyed myself so much as a kid playing this. I think about this game all the time still and I could never remember the name until I started getting back Into playing the wii and I was trying to find games to buy cause I lost most of my old games including this one but luckily I still have my wii.
I never played the MySims Wii games, pretty much exclusively DS. I always thought they were similar but after watching this video I realized they are extremely different.
This might be the most important game (and series) ever to me. I hadn’t played in ages, but I made a new save about a week ago and couldn’t help but play for 10 hours straight. A few days ago I introduced my best friend for it; she played and I watched, and she loved it too. One of the best days of my life fr. I should also get back to Agents and Kingdom soon; loved those games as well.
MySims, especially MySims Kingdom on DS, was the heart of my childhood. My dad bought it to me, by himself, when I was like 4yo or something.. I bet he doesn't know how much that small gift had so much impact on me. MySims was amazing, I really loved it. It was also my alternative to ACNL but it ended up having its own special place in my heart. It hurts knowing it will never have a continuation, because it was really an amazing series. Now we're just stuck with "what if" scenarios, imagining what games we could get. I hope those games will still be loved, because it surely deserves a lot :(🌼
I love seeing a positive mysims vid!! It was a huge part of my childhood and I still love it today ^^ The franchise created one of fav fictional characters ever, honestly :,) Definitely left a mark in my mind! Also, Agents actually isn’t left on a cliffhanger! If you finish all dispatch missions you can unlock the ending
My god I remember having all of the my sims games on my wii and it was honestly so fun just sitting there decorating everything shaking the trees and I remember I would just follow them around for hours to see what they do ugh I loved it and going to buy the sims again for my ds sense my wii broke so many good memories 😩 you are making me cry right now omg

thanks for making this video dude, is really cool and interesting that so many others enjoyed this game as much as I did as a kid.
playing through mysims agents again now because it’s the goat
Random perhaps, but wanted to add that my first youtube account and Minecraft account is literally called MiniCrash1 which is a nickname you get given in Skyheroes LOL this series made so much impact on my tiny kid brain and my still tiny adult but still a kid brain still loves it haha
my sims agents altered my brain chemistry
bro same
I'll never forget this game ❤
My Sims, My Sims Kingdom, And My Sims Agents were my favorites. ☺️
I love my sims so many good memories
Miss these games so much, the creativity and derpyness that came from them was amazing growing up. My Sims Kingdom was my favorite.
I’m here in 2021 looking for people who love games like MySims, Animal crossing, Harvest moon games, and no one ever talks about mysims 😭
I want a sequel to mysims party & mysims racing. Those are the only two I played.
I loved this game as a kid, I still have it on the wii and now that I’ve seen this video I’m probably gonna go play it now :D
@@JustGenius2001 It never did me any harm.
@@nesrovlahsurvivalist8399 Okay. Still odd to see Isaac Clarke, an engineer that eradicates abominations, in a game about aerial dogfighting.
mysims kingdom easily became my favorite game on the wii as a kid, and revisiting it recently has been a lot of fun. i remember seeing commercials for agents, but i never got the chance to play it
I loved MySims so much when it came out, but that was years ago and I was so much younger :D that's probably also why I wasn't thinking about it anymore :D but yea, I have a lot of fond memories of those games ^^
MySims on the DS was my childhood Animal Crossing game
Fun fact: 3 of the base game Sims 4 characters are based on characters from MySims!
wow I wish I could try this game lol. And also, congrats on getting so many subs!!! Your content is extremely entertaining and seems like the content of a 1+ mil sub youtuber!
Thanks, you should give MySims a try if you get the chance! Let’s both get to 1 Mil together :)
I've always loved this game, I would give anything to play it again.
I’m still playing it
My sims agents was my actual childhood me and my siblings played that game over and over again.
Yeah I got it on one of the Christmases, it was one of my favourites
@@-thesalemcrow-5941 i now consider you my brother
We share something magical
This comment makes me happy :) hope you enjoy Agents!
This was actually one of my favorite childhood games and I’m searching for that disk now
My god I remember having all of the my sims games on my wii and it was honestly so fun just sitting there decorating everything shaking the trees and I remember I would just follow them around for hours to see what they do ugh I loved it and going to buy the sims again for my ds sense my wii broke so many good memories 😩 you are making me cry right now omg
I love and will forever love my sims
Thank you for making this video haha I just played through Agents again, such a good game.
This video was so great! I have really fond memories of all of these games.
i play mysims after work everyday, its very calming
