I think they definitely, like seriously need to step up their story writing game if they still want to retain the F2P players base. After the horrendous fix on Paragon stats, people are leaving the game in drones. Now as F2P, the only fun thing left is to enjoy the storyline.

Oh man, this trailer animation is done so well! I love it, omg good job, AFK Journey! I think I'm getting why it's called "Chains of Eternity," my theory is that it's all a loop, maybe there are many other princesses (the red haired girl? I assume she's a princess since she is called 'your highness') and she's stuck in it? The black goop that was poured over her, maybe its something that recreates her being over and over again, forcing her on a loop once again
Again, just a theory! Never really got into the deep lore of AFK Arena or AFK Journey, but I really like the recent story tellings as of late, really impressive work, keep it up! ❤️
It gives me the vibe of horror, dark tale of Frozen + Sleeping Beauty. Maybe everything is just an illusion, and the red hair princess is trapped in this fake hell for eternity.

There seems to be both some hyopgean(maybe a mage who that man in black works for and if you've seen the caluender they've posted there's a new hero on 13th February)
We also have graveborns(according to some histories written for some characters in the game like Igor) there's been many sights of graveborns

I'm really intrigued by the game design (not just the design of the characters, I mean the completly design), how the AFK Journey story preview trailer is made and the story is told 😍 They're small movies and every movie is a piece of art! The genre of this one is "horror" and If this were a "real" movie, not "just" a story preview, it would be a psychological horror movie with splatter, I think 😰😅 Great work again!
Alsolutely cinematic. The publisher should consider adapting the storyline of AFK Journey into a movie, similar to what Riot did with Arcane. It is definitely worth looking forward to your future projects.

I'll admit, at first I was not excited when I saw the theme. Thinking it was going to be too Frozen esk. But damn! That changed my mind. That was awesome! I loved the last story, and this one looks just as epic, can't wait!
