Asian kid: why? how many kids do you have? Sweater guy: I have 7 Asian kid: heh, of course you do. Some dude: yeah I got 12 Some other dude: Yeah, I got 27. My favorite part.
Ikr and the 16 year old just played by chance, was kind to others, then figured the mother couldn't live with the fact that her daughter was killed, so to get rid of the pain, she went with her daughter and her baby could not vote so the 16 year old teenage boy had to do what he had to do. Damn, why didn't the Asian kid survive, he and that red head girl, they both could've made a plan of some sort The damn aliens basically allowed the minorities to all die as well as some Caucasians because it doesn't matter to them. @@latter-daysaintbatman2679 Been a minute since I seen the movie. But why did the lesbian deserve to die. And the cop was a racist dick. He deserved that
Saw this movie on Netflix with a 1 star rating, thought I might watch it as a joke too laugh at how bad it is. Now I kind of want a sequel. Really enjoyed it.
You're damn well right. As much as I'm angry that the fucker betrayed the little kid (which I was rooting for to live) and the pregnant lady. I don't have any other choice but to like this ending and accept it. I don't like predictible endings and happy endings, they're not realistic enough for me. One of the best endings that I like in a film is the ending of The Mist cause it's heartbreaking and realistic.
SupermarketSweep777 Yes, 'Cube' is the most underrated.. Maybe ever. This movie was utter garbage, few good, one liners, that's about it. Other movies had a similiar premise and the script was most likely taken from a show like survivor or big brother.
Yea like say there were more circles in the ship and all of the winners from each one participate that would be smart😂💯 cuz they have experience and know how to survive
semantics..... we don't need 100000000 fucking genres just to put everything in it's neat little box....... emotional thriller... as if most thrillers aren't already inherently emotional... if it doesn't meat your standard of what a horror movie is, it's not a horror movie... as if your standard is everyone else's.
diorflips ツ why are you being hostile towards him. Pretty sure he was giving them a compliment. And i agree. It looks like there wasn't much money put into this and thats fine. It was extremely interesting and more engaging than many big budget films
@@nabielsyach2373 the guy who survived was fooling them from the beginning he convinced them to kill each other so the pregnant lady and the little girl live. at the end he convinced the girl to sacrifice for the pregnant woman and made her believe that he'll sacrifice too, when the girl sacrificed herself he voted for the pregnant woman and they died and he lives. Altought it's been 2 months since u asked but just in case u still don't get the ending 😅
This movie is amazing, I actually loved how clever it is, and the ending was astounding, don't judge the movie by its rating, it was absolutely amazing.
I thought the movie want worth it cuz the end was so bad and there was no story behind this like there wasn't a reason they were there or how they got there they just woke in on the circle killed each other then in the end the guy got out and that's it the movie ends so I really didn't like it
Good movie, the guy at the end was pretty smart but it was selfish what he did. Just don't say anything stupid and you won't get killed in the beginning. All the racists and assholes got taken out really quickly after they revealed themselves as that type of person. PS. When did the Muslim lady die? I just noticed she was there and all of a sudden she disappeared. Did the machine kill her or did I not notice?
The muslim lady died by random. I watched this part carefuly, and at this moment, we can't hear any vote (this noise when you vote). So nobody voted, she just died because the "machine" chose her
Was anyone else getting emotionally connected to some of the people in the circle? I was watching like "oh this guy seems cool, hope he doesnt die". My favorite person was the lady in the hat 😂😂😂
It was okay. It started off quite cringy and unrealistic, but the deeper you get into it, the more the psychology comes out. The psychological side isn't about sacrificing yourself for another, it's about when put in the game of elimination where someone has to die, you will literally have to pick up on any bad thing they've done in their life to justify choosing them. Even if it's something as simple as stealing from a shop, or faking having a child or the couple that pretended to be married, you have to choose the littlest thing that can be bad about them so you can feel better for choosing them. And THAT'S the real game. If this movie had better actors it would be a fantastic thriller. But some of them just made it so cringy. I recommend it anyway.
I agree and I disagree because when you think about it the movie is supposed to be random people and random people do not make good actors or actresses... In other words the unannounced psychotic scramble for life was actually amusing
+Nikki S SPOILER: Well it certainly was something. But did you ever think it through what would have happend if the pregnant girl won? Being left with the arrow that points to herself, she would have certainly died. Leaving the baby to die just a few moments after. So the filmmakers lose the point of trying to shock anyone in the end, if any rational thinking person should have killed the pregnant woman. Also what about nobody trying to kick the person next to them off the platform? Especially the husband with his fake wife. The whole movie is full of these flaws, which for me makes it less enjoyable. To you I would recommend the movie "cube". It is just much more thought out than this one.
Karl Heinrich Lol okay, Karl. In movies, I don't want to look for the flaws. I just want to sit down, relax, eat my popcorn and enjoy. Nobody got time for observing. F that.
I am sad to hear that, even though I figured you to be such a person. It is not about looking for flaws, it is about excogitating and reflecting. Movies as they should be are pieces of art. They should not be considered as mindless entertainment. Be strong, think.
+Karl Heinrich 1) The ending shows a number of pregnant women having survived the game on other ships. There's no way for the players to have known how a fetus would fare, whether it would constitute a "player" or not. 2) Kicking someone off the platform would have been very dangerous. The person you kicked could grab you and take you down, or someone else around you would realize the danger you pose when you start kicking, and kick you off first. 3) CUBE is good but the ending is a pretty huge flaw (i.e., how can you just "sneak up" on someone given their circumstances). CIRCLE was a better film.
Humans are a tribal species. That's how it has always been, and this trait is primitively ingrained in our psyche. The movie just shows that, in a survival situation, people resort back to their tribe and adopt in-group preferences. The survival of the fittest, so to speak.
This was a very interesting movie. It's actually one of the rare times I'd want a sequel. Imagine this: all the survivors of the first round are pooled into more circles, but this time they're all basically experts at the game. They all know what's going to happen, it could be a really great game of poker-face and deception.
tobysoter Spoiler alert The black dude first talked about all of people that were black were going to die because they were black. It had nothing to do with race. Well what really made him die was there was two sides. And a little girl. One was side was protecting her, it had a Marine, old lady, and whoever else. Then the other side was trying to kill her. Which was the black dude.
Jess3674 Well if it makes you feel any better the majority of survivors were pregnant women and children meaning the participants in the other circles sacrifice themselves. The point is just to do what you believe is right.
You've also had faith in humanity? Dont make me laugh. We we're all born to be selfish, have greed and pretty much not care about others. Trust me, most of us would put ourselves first before anyone else. It's human nature. In fact, if I remember in first aid course, if you find someone in trouble, say someone was involved in a car accident, you have to check on your safety first before helping others, so yeah
@@AnonTriple let me just be blunt. You sound edgy af. First of all, any circumstances where people are in trouble, whether it be drowning, electrified, in a burning house, etc. the saviour has to be wary of fatal hazards to protect themselves so that it increases the chance for both of them to survive, not because it is a selfish act. You can't save someone if you're dead. Second, compassion is human nature too. Yes, survival is, but believing to the point of saying just selfish alone trumps all human instincts? Don't make me laugh
Who laughed at the scene when that man said we should consider who has family and kids and he said i have 7 kids , the other one responded i have 13 and the other one said i have 26 😂😂😂
I with my friends laughed so hard when that soldier guy said something, when the time was almost up to vote, like: "Kill the black guy!" "What?" *BAM DEAD*
😂 I was get my hair braided and I was watching this movie. My braiders were watching it too when the army dude said that we all laughed. We're all black we thought it was hella funny
I think if they made a sequel of this film they should do the same thing, except everyone knows each other like a huge family with wifes, husbands, mothers, fathers, brothers, sisters, children, cousins, in laws, best friends and so on. I feel it would be really good to see who would really die for who
Spoiler: At the end of the movie we see the grouping of pregnant women standing around. The issue is that at the end the guy had to choose between himself and the unborn baby. That means all those pregnant women likely also had to do the same.
the best parts in my opinion: 5: when the sweater vest dude died 4: when the teen sacrificed him self 3: when the black bank accountant walked off like a total bad a** 2: when the fake husband got got 1: when the kid had the balls to literally sacrifice her life for this bastard of a winner
+Musicflix that's a good observation and reasonable implication. A lot of people were saying that most games had pregnant women and children as the winners (as seen in the end) but it was clear that there were individuals who were not.
+Musicflix Funny part is the flaw in the Aliens plan. Being since they made it a situation where its looking for the right person to live. If its mainly women and children. Who will continue to keep things up and running. Yet on the second hand if its women, children, and master manipulators only on the planet. They made Earth even worse. Being now the master manipulators are going to make the world an even more difficult place to live in.
No one is talking how good actors really are, like they were standing at the one spot, only moving their hands, and they made so emotions through this... Crying, calming, stressing and more more
there would be no fear or thrill. everyone would just be excited to be pushed into the whipped cream. How about they do the game show with the pulse but doesn't kill them just stuns them.
like the grand prize is like 100k and the last person wins. you will have people in debt that need it. middle class and wealthy people. well nobody would want to fuck the poor people or they be viewed as an ass hole. it was a creepie movie.
People are complete IDIOTS!! This movie shows the disgusting and BRUTAL HONEST TRUTH about what people will do to save their own lives. I feel sorry for people that don't have he brain power to understand movies or tv shows outside of The fast & Furious or THE KARDASHIANS & Real Houeswives of whatever city. This movie made you think and wonder what would you do in order to live? Would you sacrifice your life for another? A Child? Black? White? Gay? This was a GREAT movie and I am shocked it only got 1 star on Netflix.
Mike Pesci I feel sorry for you, that you don't have the brain cells or comprehension to see what a great movie this is. It's ok, you still have your SPONGEBOB.
+ohiomommy330 Agreed, there's those elements, and yes they depict the nature of human beings. But the whole point in the end is....SPOILERS below: It is an easy way to conduct a "de-population" operation in a fast efficient way. And leaving 1/3 of the population left to start over, but being the most clever ones that survive in the end. You will notice that the other survivors from other "games" there were different races, showing that no race is dumber than the other. The entire point is the strength of the mental power of these survivors, nature selects the smartest ones. Natural selection does the work for the e.ts so the "lab/aquarium/earth" can repair and continue. This planet is very valuable and this is great logic that they are not going to let us fuck it up. We're talking about a planet that provides for probably an entire sector of the Milky Way in terms of resources and gene pooling, and spread of life(they take us, and animals and plants to other planets) ie: theres still trexes and sauropods out there around the galaxy, doing their work on other planets that are still in the first phases of "cycling".. The value of earth to the hundreds of species that have been working this place for millions of years....is beyond what we can comprehend. That's my take on what I thought was a top notch movie.
The thing is, for all the people who say they hate the ending because they they wanted a "happy" ending or ( a heroic one ). This is how the humanity is, we are all animals that play on our instincts if we are about to die, theres nothing wrong with that, not at all. 99% off the humanity will try to save themselfs to all cost without hasitation when it all comes down to it, the other 1% are either brainwashed to believe they do something heroic, or just freeze in the moment and being complete paralyzed by the situation. The movie sums up 2 great parts off reality in how we would act. The first one is; A frightened human with full adrenalin will try to save itself with no thinking, just a straight plan on what do to live. The second one shows the high morals off todays society that kicks in if you have the time to accept the faith off dying. This is pretty common to a trained psychologist. There are two great examples off this; Two horrific tragedies with the same outcome, except, that one tragedy occurred through a timespan off 2,5 hours meanwhile the other one went down in 15-20 minutes: The sinking off titanic (1912) and the sinking of MS estonia (1994). Titanic; alot of the survivors got chosen to "live" by how rich they were, or how high up they were in sociaty. ( This was shown in the movie; the man that worked in the bank and the arguments that followed ) As time went by on Titanic, people started to accepting their faith in what was going to happend, now they chose to save women and children after the rich had got a seat in the lifeboats. ( Same here with the pregnant woman and the child in the movie ) Majority kept them alive for as long as possible until the death was breathing on the others necks. This is where the movie shows fiction and facts off how we would act. MS Estonia; The boat suddenly started to capsize and people either realised this was to much to be "something normal" or they just reacted too late. Alot off people grabbed a life jacket from others, pushed/kicked them aside to get first up towards the highest decks, people started to rob others in a believe they would survive the catastrophe that occurred, people just didn't give a damn about who they killed to make themselfs survive meanwhile the boat sank. ( 80% off the majority in the movie at the begging acts like this ). Full off adrenalin and panic a human don't rationalizes about its surrounding and giving a second thought, they just act. A boat that sinks within 10 minutes and are capsized to 90 degrees makes it easy for a person to overlook morals, he/she sees a life jacket on another person, the person that wears the jacket does not exist, only the jacket that gives a little hope about survival does, so "stealing/taking" it infront off them to save yourself is not unusual. Sure along the way on the both sinkins of the boats there were people trying to figure out a way to save everyone and keep the morals high and not validate someone else less than your life, but then again, when people were in the water, the reflection of pure humanity showed its true face, people just drowned eachother to have a life jacket or clung over them, pushing them under the surface to keep themselfs above it. Now for the people that wonder how the so called "psychopath" could live with himself by manipulating the child and killing the pregnant woman, it's simple, he has no remorse. From the survivors off Titanic and MS Estonia the responses about remorse was almost the same, there were non. Even in the most brutal acts, such as: Taking a life jacket off a child to put it on yourself which results in their drowning, or letting go off people in the water that clungs on to you when you are up on a raft just to give you more energy to keep you above surface, or even the horrific act to push someone off the lifeboat that you are in to give you a better chance off survival because the boat is overpopulated. Things like theese are mild to what people have done to save themselfs in tragic situations but at the time, it just went on autopilot because a human validates its own life in a life or death moment. Life is brutal and thats how it is. We live by high morals today, sure, but when it all comes down to it, we are all equal. This movie shows a great depth in the lenght off what a human will do to survive( even tho the movie is so simple and a budget one ). I think this movie is underrated and its pretty good actually.
Dude, you're dumb. The very same movie you're basing your argument on frontally contradicts your conclusion. Did you not see the end of the film? Most of the survivors were pregnant women and children, showing that most groups weren't as selfish and the guy in the end was just a lying worm.
This movie is great, the ending is awesome. Spoliers coming: cmon guys we are all grown ups stop bitching about the ending, that's how the real world works, the majority of people would sacrifice anyone to save himself including a pregnant women and a little child, i loved that ending, a different ending that would save those two would be so chessy and predictable.
What I loved about this movie was it revealed human nature and human psychology. It true brought out both the darkness in humans as well as the light and our own instinct of survival and shows where we are at and what needs to be worked on.
I saw it coming, he made several big mistakes. His first mistake was relinquishing power. Early on in the circle-battle, he takes charge for a few rounds, only to give up his power pretty quickly by asking everyone why they're looking to him for answers. His next massive error was his rant about being willing to do whatever to see his family again. One of the characters says that "in here, the truth gets you killed", and ironically, that's the damn truth. No matter how real you're keeping it - if you're in that situation, you never tell people that openly; you're only making yourself a target.
@@justinlacek1481 Your perspective on the human nature and behaviour facing threatening situations is annoyingly bleak. Not everybody is the same, not everybody is like you.
The movie reminded me of a similar nightmare I had when I was 11, all my classmates were there and basically the situation was the one kid who makes it through doesn’t have to go to school no more while the rest of us will have to suffer through an eternal detention.
In a way this is one of my favourite movies of all time and I know that is a hefty claim. I've seen this movie about 30 times now and it still grabs me by the throat. Shaun, Katy, the block voting, the final vote, it's so emotionally powerful. Especially the Katy actress deserves a long and fantastic career.
I love this movie. I watched it on Netflix by coincidence and it was one of the best movies i've ever watched and watching movies is my hobby. I just can advise you to watch this movie, too. And don't read the comments, by the way. There's so much spoiler in here.
Thoughts on the ending? (SPOILER) ------------------------------------ If you've watched the movie...some food for thought: It was clear in the ending scene that there were significantly more children and pregnant women who survived the "other games", however it's important to address the fact that there were also survivors who fall into neither of these two categories. It's thus possible that the underlining meaning/message of this film, is that although there is "evil" in human nature, there is also good. An interesting theory I had was that the character who survives in the end is actually a survivor of previous "games". He was one of the first individuals in the circle who initiated strategies for how to go about "winning the game', but was never too assertive although definitely not passive. I'm sure we can all agree that he was a master manipulator who only played "the good guy" in order to ensure his own safety. Could it then be possible that he already knew how to win and just played it quiet till the right moment? What if the group of people standing there at the end are NOT survivors of other games, but are instead the individuals who are to be chosen for the next one?.... lol. its nearly 3 am and i'm obviously over-thinking this one. Courtesy of an open-ended thought-provoking film x)
Exactly my thought, I think the psycho won past games and is trying to show aliens his supremacy for them to be interested in him. Like you know, he said "I'm not good enough for you !?"
the best thing about this movie is how unexpected the ending is. it is not the blatantly sociopathic people that win, but the wolf in sheep's clothes. i loved it.
User Name hahaha good acting? Try horrific acting, terrible dialogue, unrealistic characters, poor direction, predictible. It failed on pretty much every level 1/10. Why do you think it's a good movie?
A guy is obviously trying to get people killed and noone calls him out? A girl is talking for 2 minutes anout her dog and get killed? (Was that supposed to be funny?), Well don't want anyone to kill me, talking about how racist/homophobic I. Is a good idea! Guy threatens to kill a child and no one says 'lets vote for him, he wants to kill children'. People got voted for after drawing no attention?? How is that possible. Honestly you must have watched this movie with your brain turned off. Also, the mother gets electricuted enough for her to die but the baby survivies and miraculously lands on a platform to continue playing. Are you an idiot???
User Name i gave you my reasons. Terrible acting, terrible dailogue, unrealistic charcaters, poor direction. It's not personal taste, I know how hunans act, you know, because I am one and I meet them everyday. Here's another line from the amazing script when they're talking about the pregnant woman 'she gets to live because she's never heard of birth control' ...yeah Shakespeare. And the statistics didn't make any sense. I like to watch realistic movies, stupid movies are ok if they are sell-aware but this wasn't. You clearly dont mind switching off your brain to enjoy a movie (if it's ever on in the first place)
The Test, Cube there's many really. Google this type of film and options will come up. There's a big budget with this premise due in a couple of months.
I added this movie to my list because I thought that it was "The circle" (another movie, starring Emma Watson) but I'm not gonna lie, I wasn't disappointed. I actually enjoyed it
Alea Farmer I think that's what they were going for. When I saw him rolling his eyes at the Hispanic guy, I was like, "Yep." But they made him homophobic.
Alfredo Larsi But you didn’t take into account that almost half of eligible voters didn’t cast a ballot; plus popular vote isn’t what wins you the election. Also Phoenix has a good point.
Fans of Black Mirror would love this. The first 10 mins are a little slow, but necessary to establish the logic of the situation. The structure of the game really keeps the plot moving along-- characters you get attached to will suddenly get killed, characters you think will have a big role will die and totally change the dynamics of the group... keeps the tension up with totally unexpected twists and turns. I went into this thinking I'd skim a few moments to get the gist of it and then be done, but ended up hooked and watching the whole way through. The premise sounds suuuuper simple, but it really makes you think and is more gripping than you'd expect from an indie film. It reminded me of CUBE. Definitely worth the watch!!
I've watched this movie at least 3 times and it's so cool seeing people's different philosophies on life based on what they've been through, their current circumstances and their outlook on reality. TOO INTERESTING
you know what I don't understand? since it's implied that the group at the very end of the movie are other survivors from other circles, then how come the pregnant women are still pregnant? If the last guy tied with the unborn child then how come the other pregnant women weren't forced to kill their own kid?
if you notice that whem pregnent woman "died", kid was still alive. that shows that maybe it's an acception. I mean you can't sent baby without their mother.
Can't believe this only has one star on netflex. This was a really good movie. I'm sure people rated it so low because they don't want to believe humans can be that cruel and cunning in a life or death situation. Damn that was good.
Everyone commenting about the "Army" guy & what he says & does, if you pause at 0:20 you can clearly read "Marines" on his left. He was in the Corp, he's not Army.
I remember watching that movie when I was like 10, it was excellent. Another one I recall but I can't remember the name was about a game show where the contestants all had to place 1 hand on this top of the range black car and the person who held their hand on the longest was the winner of the car. And they all started to turn in each other etc. It was awesome, I think it was from the late 90', can not remember the name though.
***** There was a documentary called 'Hands on a hard body' which was the same premise. All these contestents were trying to win a hardbody pick-up in Texas.
I cried the whole movie , you see how people really are when their life is on the line . No one had a heart except the guy missing the arm and the lady that survived cancer . And the man that stepped up for the 16 year old !!! SCARY WORLD WE LIVE IN FR
They haven't tried a lot of options on this one though. (1) They could've taken off their extra garments, throw them at the center and cover up whatever was at that center. (2) how much angle that laser can shoot? They could've probably sit down, lay down or duck to avoid that shooting laser. (3) that corpse getting dragged away. They could've lay on top of it and snuck out. (4) use one of the corpse as a meat shield
I watched the movie and it was amazing. I mainly liked it because you have no idea who will win in the end of it. I kept guessing and all of them were wrong since who ever I guessed dies. It was that kind of movie that kept you guessing and thinking. It was also very shocking. The end was the most shocking and they should make an other movie because it made no sense to just leave it at that. It was very frustrating too.
It made perfect sense to leave it like that, I think they shoul've cut the spaceshipend too. The movie started and went on in a vacuum with nothing messing up the dialogue and atmosphere, it went to a really core question of human nature and I was disappointed they broke that in the end, it made this movie lack the symmetry "circle" would've deserved. I feel like movies by yankees often overexplain themselves (man from the earth is a good example) turning out a little patronizing because of this. Also I felt they tried to compensate the awesome showdown that ended the circle, that many felt was pretty grim, by showing that other circles chose pregnant woman or kids, "we are all assholes" would've been a way more powerful as an endscene, the spaceship just kinda turned our attention away from the whole message.
I ain’t gonna lie, If I was put in this situation I’d be looking out for myself, couldn’t give a shit about your age, gender, if you’re religious, if you’re pregnant, if you’re gay or black. Means fuck all in that situation. if you play the game smart then you deserve to live. That’s exactly what this dude did in the movie.
I was surprised by how much I liked this movie. It's definitely underrated and more people should watch it. I didn't know that people hated the ending. I thought it was a pretty smart twist, even though it was depressing at the same time.
I hoped that at the end it turned out that none of them actually died but it was just a shock that knocked them unconscious and it was all a phsycological experiment

It would be very predictable. I wouldn't have liked it as much. I like endings with balls. Like The Mist.
Atleast they balanced out by showing that the other survivors were pregnant women and children

Yet the dude who played the racism card was hated by everyone and also, there were others that were killed at random too
Pretty much keep all opinions to yourself and you'll survive longer lol.
The bitch should have been the first
it doesn't matter if he was selfish, he has every right to fight for his life and he was the smartest in the room.
I didn't like her at all
I was rooting for the lady in the hat too!
TheKoopa4561 I liked the little girl
yeah
I was sad when that Hispanic lady sacrificed herself. her story made me sad
Yes i was looking fot this comment 🙌🏼
I really agree
I thought the acting was great.
I agree and I disagree because when you think about it the movie is supposed to be random people and random people do not make good actors or actresses... In other words the unannounced psychotic scramble for life was actually amusing
Stop hating
This movie was surprisingly really good. I recommend this.
Karl Heinrich No thanks. I'll stick to the mindless entertainment
This movie shows how cruel people towards one another. They would do anything just to pull down people they don't like....
Humans are a tribal species. That's how it has always been, and this trait is primitively ingrained in our psyche. The movie just shows that, in a survival situation, people resort back to their tribe and adopt in-group preferences. The survival of the fittest, so to speak.
Obviously
This was a very interesting movie. It's actually one of the rare times I'd want a sequel. Imagine this: all the survivors of the first round are pooled into more circles, but this time they're all basically experts at the game. They all know what's going to happen, it could be a really great game of poker-face and deception.

tobysoter Spoiler alert
The black dude first talked about all of people that were black were going to die because they were black. It had nothing to do with race. Well what really made him die was there was two sides. And a little girl. One was side was protecting her, it had a Marine, old lady, and whoever else. Then the other side was trying to kill her. Which was the black dude.
tobysoter Then why did you ask "why?"
Watched this movie on Netflix.
Well I've completely lost my faith in humanity.
Jess3674 Well if it makes you feel any better the majority of survivors were pregnant women and children meaning the participants in the other circles sacrifice themselves. The point is just to do what you believe is right.
Aaand if it makes you feel better a lot of nice people sacrificed their lives and couldn't make it till the end for that reason.

Agreed, there's those elements, and yes they depict the nature of human beings. But the whole point in the end is....SPOILERS below:
It is an easy way to conduct a "de-population" operation in a fast efficient way.
That's my take on what I thought was a top notch movie.
it was clean but def check out "Tales of halloween" and "all hallows Eve 2"
was just stating what the point was that i got of the movie. lot better than a lot of the garbage out there.
The MrBeasts "Whoever stays in the circle" challenge has taken to another level.

You can come home during leave. So he was there for 2 years but came back for a 30 day leave and then went back.

Thoughts on the ending?
(SPOILER)
------------------------------------
If you've watched the movie...some food for thought:
It was clear in the ending scene that there were significantly more children and pregnant women who survived the "other games", however it's important to address the fact that there were also survivors who fall into neither of these two categories.
Solution to their dramas: just don't vote, let it be random 🤷♂️
Like the man who didn't speak at all and came to be the forth survivor
can't trust anyone, 100% some of them would've voted
my solution is save the pregnent lady and we are saving two people in the end.
the best thing about this movie is how unexpected the ending is. it is not the blatantly sociopathic people that win, but the wolf in sheep's clothes. i loved it.
This movie was so fucking good!
WHAT? This movie was so fucking bad!
Whang! Wasn’t sure if I should watch it with this preview but I’ll give it a shot.
I think he deserves to live. It was a game. He outplayed them. Gg well played ez clap.
🤦🏻♀️
hell nah now society has a high functioning psychopath out there
@@unceasinglotus9370 every society needs a psychopath
outplay a 10yr old??🤣🤣
@@snappedmzakeszar9877 yep
Guys anyone know any movies of similar complexion to this one? I really loved this movie
sev deawesome Would You Rather, EXAM
ShammySugar I just watched Exam, it was good, not as good as circle though. Ill check out Would you rather too. Thanks :3
No problem!
a movie called "Unknown"
The Test, Cube there's many really. Google this type of film and options will come up. There's a big budget with this premise due in a couple of months.
reminds me of the movie "Exam"
Also nine dead, but I like the plot in nine dead more since it's about connection
+larry cable Exactly, when I was watching it on Netflix, "Exam" was in my mind the whole time haha :D
Exam was actually pretty good with an interesting ending.
+larry cable FACTSS
yes me 2!
I added this movie to my list because I thought that it was "The circle" (another movie, starring Emma Watson) but I'm not gonna lie, I wasn't disappointed. I actually enjoyed it
You stumbled upon a way better circle
liked the ending :v I think this guy was so clever B-) though he was an asshole he played well ... awesome.
:)
Was that really you? :)
CanniestRug yes mwuhahah
Michael Nardelli awesome movie sir.
Michael Nardelli Wow! Amazing acting and movie :)
This movie seemed cheesy as hell at first but it really grew on me & i liked it a lot
I knew that the old man at the beginning was telling the truth when he said 'he saw a green creature etc etc' ! Man that was awesome
Sheynie _ omg and didn’t he say that he saw the guy who won in the end there aswell?????
Ohh I had forgot about this But I still don't know of he said the truth He also talked about some numbers
No he wasn’t telling the truth
The chubby white guy in the suit with a tie reminded me of a typical trump supporter lmfao he was spot on.
Alea Farmer I think that's what they were going for. When I saw him rolling his eyes at the Hispanic guy, I was like, "Yep." But they made him homophobic.
Alea Farmer its a lawyer lol
Alea Farmer So the majority of America are like that guy?? :O
Alfredo Larsi three million illegals and dead people you mean right?
I want circle 2
+pizzamaster100 ask and u shall receive :)
+Michael Nardelli yes please make a sequel! I really enjoyed this movie.
I agree, I love this film, it's still stuck in my head days later. Really great job
Great performance too man! You even had me fooled at the end :p
hvitekristesdod Thank you! We love hearing that y'all enjoyed the film! More to come ;)
SPOILER: Woow I got so pissed when the little girl died , Idk what it is, just made me super upset. Guess its like mother instinct or something
Little girl can sacrifice herself for pregnant lady but that last guy betray her.
I think that maybe reason.
What if it was a little boy. Would you still be upset. You women nowadays are so sexist!
You stfu, you stupid angry sexist feminist bitch!
+Blind Faith yea who ever you are arguing with has issues
Blind Faith lol
you know what I don't understand? since it's implied that the group at the very end of the movie are other survivors from other circles, then how come the pregnant women are still pregnant? If the last guy tied with the unborn child then how come the other pregnant women weren't forced to kill their own kid?
if you notice that whem pregnent woman "died", kid was still alive. that shows that maybe it's an acception. I mean you can't sent baby without their mother.
Awesome ! NOW I'm really excited to find out more :-)
Underrated i would say. This is exactly why u shouldn’t judge a movie based on rating.
Ikr
I haven't seen this film since just after it came out
Completely forgot it existed, seems to have got a lot of well deserved recognition
A nice movie to chill when there's absolutely nothing else to watch ☺
Can't believe this only has one star on netflex. This was a really good movie. I'm sure people rated it so low because they don't want to believe humans can be that cruel and cunning in a life or death situation. Damn that was good.
That movie is just a mirror of most people's inner selves. I know because nobody hide what they think on the internet
Everyone commenting about the "Army" guy & what he says & does, if you pause at 0:20 you can clearly read "Marines" on his left. He was in the Corp, he's not Army.
I love when little thought-experiement movies come along. Anyone remember The Cube? (Before the terrible sequels)
*****
There was a documentary called 'Hands on a hard body' which was the same premise. All these contestents were trying to win a hardbody pick-up in Texas.
Sure do! I thought about The Cube right before watching this movie...It's one of those movies that come on when you cant sleep late at night
This Circle movie was great. But I think I prefer my favourite movie: Triangle.
+MichaelZ Finally! another person who likes Triangle
There's actually lots of us. I've seen spreadsheets people have made to chart all the time loops in incredible detail.
Triangle is awesome! I have 2 favorite types of films: ones that take place in a single room, and ones with time-loops.
I prefer heptagon.
I cried the whole movie , you see how people really are when their life is on the line . No one had a heart except the guy missing the arm and the lady that survived cancer . And the man that stepped up for the 16 year old !!! SCARY WORLD WE LIVE IN FR
I've had this on my Netflix list for a while but finally got around to seeing it. I really enjoyed it.
Who were y'all rooting for in the movie? Personally I was rooting for the soldier.
the guy picking on the pornstar was my fave lmao
SnakeEyes4597 i was routing for the guy with one arm
SnakeEyes4597 Nobody really. Apart from the guy who smoke to the girl in the beginning
I was rooting for the Marine guy as well, and also the guy with one arm. They were the best imo.
I was pulling for the banker.
just don't see why they can't include these trailers on Netflix...
I absolutely LOVED this movie! One of the most underrated films on Netflix!
I’m still waiting for the sequel 😭
Also I felt they tried to compensate the awesome showdown that ended the circle, that many felt was pretty grim, by showing that other circles chose pregnant woman or kids, "we are all assholes" would've been a way more powerful as an endscene, the spaceship just kinda turned our attention away from the whole message.
me scroll through the comments to find a suggestion if its worth to watch
comment section: spoils every single last detail of the movie in one comment
I ain’t gonna lie, If I was put in this situation I’d be looking out for myself, couldn’t give a shit about your age, gender, if you’re religious, if you’re pregnant, if you’re gay or black. Means fuck all in that situation. if you play the game smart then you deserve to live. That’s exactly what this dude did in the movie.
I was surprised by how much I liked this movie. It's definitely underrated and more people should watch it. I didn't know that people hated the ending. I thought it was a pretty smart twist, even though it was depressing at the same time.
