- The NEW AMG GT 63 S is the fastest car 0-60 in Mercedes Benz's current lineup. Under the hood is a 4.0L twin-turbo V8 that produces 630HP & mated to a 9-speed automatic transmission. The 63 is for the 6.3 liter engine.
@@HomieDoMore it's is no longer a 6.3L engine. This changed a few years ago and people were asking why they kept the 63 when in reality it's a 4.0L engine. Naturally aspirated was a 6.3, by putting twin turbos it became a 4.0L

Yes you did. No C in the name of this AMG GT 63 S. There is a 4 door Mercedes CLS but that is a " normal" or pure luxury sedan but it does have some kick to it. Doug DeMuro reviewed the CLS on his channel a while back.

Right. There's no C. Just GT 63s. I believe Joe added the C. GTC meaning Gran Turismo Coupé. Which the GT 63s is considered a Coupé. A four door sedan with a sloping rear. So technically the GT is a Coupé. It's just when it's said. It is said GT 63. Joe just sprinkled the C for extra taste. 🤗

Man this car is an all around great beauty. It sounds and performs great plus it's got all the space you could ask for being a sports car, truly a fine machine. I can imagine how being behind that wheel feels in that interior

Raiti's Rides oh yeah. I wouldn’t expect the factory to go much further as you are most definitely right that reliability is drastically reduced. I was thinking aftermarket. Whoever is buying a car this expensive has money to burn, whether it’s modifying or repairing.

Cg3 thats reserved for the GT73, its gonna have a hybrid drivetrain with 800 hp. It may have only 630 hp but this car is all about torque, 660 lb ft which is most than most supercars on the road.
I’ll come back to this in less than a year and I will have this car INSHAALLAH

I bought my AMG GTR coupe based on your review. I also got the GT63s but with the full BRABUS 700 package (aero/wheels/sound/exhaust/700hp tune) it is an absolute beast. I drive the GT63S/BRABUS 700 more than my GTR and my 4 Square G wagon. It just ticks all the boxes

The 1994 Thunder bird i have been working on fixing up is a simple car. tons of easy to get and inexpensive OEM/Aftermarket parts. 4 wheel disk brakes, idles at 85mph. vary easy going, switching the pcm out of over drive does make it much more lively but given up to 90% throttle it limits its self to 180lbft, when it is given that 10% more it wakes. easiest modes eco/sport/track. tho it has a 4.6L OHC engine "parts for it are available". just saying... i got a set of 3.5L eco boost turbos that will bolt right onto that old 4.6 V8. does it need them to idle at 85-95mph... no, but i think it might bring the 0-60 time down to 5 seconds from 7. doesn't go over 106, but it will hit the limiter fairly hard, even going 100mph there is zero wind noise zero vibration... the engine is supposed to be in a 5500lb truck, setting the cruse control doesn't work with the throttle closed. +300lbft right from 1500rpm... it has room in the fuse box for a traction control modal but that just runs the brake pads down and makes the engine work harder. drives much nicer then a economy car. handles tighter yet softens out the bumps in the road like its a big truck. ... in no way was if fun cleaning the rust off of it... oh gosh but getting the resources to fix it given my place on the post for the last 20 years. what and how would you do that on welfare checks? could you learn four or more occupational jobs... lots of people just work on one not more then two specialized occupation and stick to it for 45 years.

Gipsy Avenger you should be proud of your GLC 43 AMG. I raced a C63 6.3 V8 from a dead stop and he was ahead until I caught up at 45 mph and pulled ahead till I shut down at 75mph. He was stunned and gave a thumbs up. I still don’t know how our 2 tons SUV is faster than a 450hp V8!!! He did took of courtesy of his race start.

Sweet car, so weird that i coincidentally raced one of these last Friday in my hellcat on Tampa rd. i won but barely and almost got embarrassed. I had no idea how fast it was and it was messing with me. Luckily it was from about a 40 roll and it was dry out. I’m not racing anymore of those until i add one more mod and another tune. Kind of disappointed in you Joe -that Tampa bay lightning tag was starring you right in the face on the back of that car and you didn’t give a shout out. Shame shame Joe. 😂

It’s not a twin turbo, those have two identical turbos but biturbo mean that there is one small and one large turbo to reduce the lag of power from the turbos so you can get going as soon as you plant your foot
