As I was editing this video, I had an idea of maybe having a regular live show on this channel where I interview different people about their work, career, and life. If that's something you'd be interested in, thumbs up this comment 👍! For any ideas on the format, guests, and topics, or for any other feedback for how you think the show could be engaging and chill, leave a comment down below 👇👇👇

I think it would great to interview people from all different stages from their career (entry, mid, senior) and different industries! Software engineering can be applied to so many various industries so it would be cool to get that perspective! Thank you Mayuko!

It would be super helpful to get more information as to how to take the leap into the Software engineering world for people who come from a different career/background and want to make that transition. Any tips, resources, or advice as to how to navigate into that space would be great! :)

I left my career in finance behind to join a startup helping with business development. While raising money for the startup, we needed a website to show investors. We didn't have anyone around so I stayed up 2 nights learning html and css to put together a landing page. Now I've been a full-stack developer for 7 years, the twists and turns are quite real but super rewarding :)

The tech career ladder seems daunting, especially because it's not linear, but it's great to know the feeling is mutual between so many of us. Hi Mayuko! Great to see you exploring some plants to add to your work environment. Are you up for a challenge? Maybe consider a visit to one of those big box home centers and check out some potting mix, small planters, and seeds. I wonder, could you grow some lettuce or green onions or pak choi in your home? How about radishes if you enjoy those? The 3 empty containers you now have could be a great exploratory journey. Happy Gardening! -Bob...

I have a question. I have the opportunity to take a semester or two off and become a self studying developer. It just makes job hunting a little harder, but it’s shorter. I can also major in CS at school, but it would take another 2 years before I would finish. Do you have any advice?

That's what I did, I took year off and studying and will apply for jobs soon, I gained some clarity on what I want to do and time to start my business too. Wish you good luck!
