I’m wondering if putting something like this Zman EZ shrimpz on a weightless on a Carolina rig might work down there for you. Having said that I live in South Florida and I’ve never fished Australia so I don’t know anything about what your fish eat or how they interact with their prey
You caught lots of species today in a very picturesque setting.Sounds like a win to me.
One day I will fish Australia on the fly, and there will be much rejoicing! Always enjoy your content
The bream we got in SE QLD grow abit bigger I think. I’ve never caught a pike bream, but my pb silver bream went 45. Love the vids mate, keep up the good work
Loving the content! Whats the red reel and rod combo? Think its a HRF PE SPECIAL in a 7.3 ratio? Unsure of the rod weight?
Nice fishing mate, wish we had creeks that productive on the Sunshine Coast.
Mate, I’m from Hervey Bay but I’m in the sunny coast right now. Try Petrie creek.
@@christianstern9543 legend I’ll give it a go
;)
How did it go?
Hi Christian fished the mouth and a little way in, got a cou-Le of bream but need to do an explore on a higher tide.
Interesting how you mainly got your barra bites around tide change. Must be when there feeding atm.
Love ya content, I have a request of what your set ups are if possible.
Hey bowly do you keep any of the estuary Barra you catch for eating? Or do you prefer them from saltwater? In most vids I've watched people always seem to be releasing them but I thought they were a top 3 table fish
Barra are average eating in comparison to a lot of other fish that we have access to here. Many other fish I’d keep over Barra.
@@bowlysfishing that's interesting, thanks.
I’m new to your vids and find them very enjoyable. How cool is the mist in the trees. Al
Moon and tides have everything to do with fish biting. Ps I could the little flies that were biting you on the camera closer to the end.
I like yours videos
Wonderful Video. Awesome. Where you fishing ? Plus
Hey bowls love the video just wondering what the silver baitcaster you were using was
Yeh same I was thinking zillion but then I was like nah no way,
Tranx 150
Hi bowly , great video mate . When you say tide change , with a moon as well , what do you mean . Cheers .
Tide change I assume is pretty straight forward. When I was speaking about moon, it was in relation to moon rise/set/above/below. Those are typically heightened times of fish activity.
@@bowlysfishing Thanks mate . Cheers .
Bream pursuit 😂……. second channel for you mate.
Shoulda tried a livey bowly might have fired em up 🤷🏼♂️
Hi mate what weight flick prawn are using
Hey mate, mostly using the heavy weighted version because of the current running.
Do you catch any thread fin salmons?
Yeah mate, just not in this area.
Why did you throw back that first Barra? That’s a perfect size for the table.
Don’t ever eat Barra mate, plenty of better table fish on offer here.
Where are you from ?
Awesome video bro
