It takes two to tango and since Queen Wen refuses to dance, it can hardly be called a rivalry.
Queen Wen is intelligent, smart (not the same) and has a work ethic that is hard to match.
Navarro is an entitled, spoiled brat who will soon fizzle out - on the other hand Queen Wen is going places.

I didn’t realize it was a longer brewing rivalry. Hopefully over time and with more maturity they can settle things.

What does cut throat on the court mean? Who plays with mercy on court? This video doesn’t say much about Emma’s reason for that comment, BS video.

Do we have enough factual knowledge as to the backstory to be able to make a sound judgment on the matter? Or, are we hastening to make judgements based on surface happenings? Does Navarro have a history of showing disrespect to her colleagues, and for such shallow reasons as simply losing a match? Is it possible that Qinwen wasn't bothered, because she may know precisely where the deeper seeded statement stems from? Seems like all the buzz around this amounts to shallow fandom gossip....

Obviously they have some history. Navarro isn't the only player to express displeasure with Zheng. Donna Vekic did as well. More will come out. I know Emma is probably kicking herself for saying anything in the first place.

Another drawn out video that is 9 minutes too long. I learned nothing new about their rivalry other than it stems back to their junior days. What exactly does Qinwen do that Emma feels is "cut throat"? Nothing this video describes is INSANE. 👎

Paris Olympics is invaded by politic and the one that is there for decades still active. It is only this time the strength to a particular country or so called geopolitical, and of course some country also saw something else. 😢

there are behind the scene's locker room stuff between players that should be irrelevant to fans... I just know at Canadian Open, Emma took her time to take a picture with my kids when on her way from practice with Daria, and that was nice...
