Nah I don't think it's underrated :) You cannot be the GOAT without a lethal forehand. Besides just about every fan has seen those bullet serve returns against Fed and Nadal on crucial points where they don't even flinch as the ball goes by.
I loved it when del Potro hugged the linesman for comfort and when Isner (asked if Djokovic was the greatest) said : "yeah, he`s #1...and #2 and #3. LOL

long time ago when he was just beginning to get into the groove I told those fed fans ... watch out here is a man who either is going to have a mental breakdown or is going to cause a few players to spend a lot on therapy ... the thing is he had the fire and passion ... just didn't channel it ... but when he did all the work on mind and body ... he turned into a force of nature... talk about growth off the court to become a champion on the court.. he had so much hunger he figured out a way to be what he wanted to be... mark of a champion ...

The commentators are trying to brand Novak as defensive. What I saw is absolutely brutal offensive defense. Especially the shot he made from the base line against Roger. Novak is offensive in the sense he beats his opponents into sheer desperation and despair while just not giving an inch to them to trouble him. Novak is genius.
