This video is quite inspiring! Where I'm from, several thousand years ago, people would build burial mounds using rocks that drifted here from Scandinavia and the Baltics with the Saalien (the ice age before the last ice age) and I think I might make something like that in a next project I'd like to do. I'm currently using that spot for a quarantine tank for the fish coming into my Juwel Rio 240 but I want to put a Superfish Scaper 70 on that cabinet. It's like Iwagumi with a twist. :)

Did the moss you glued to the rocks die? i was excited to see what it looked like, if it did die would it be because of the high co2 levels since you mentioned it was a carnivorous species and those kinds of plants react differently when it comes to photosynthesis. (Edit: co2 levels are fine my original assumption is incorrect)
EDIT: after further research I have discovered that for this particular species of moss utricularia graminifolia the best way to establish it in a tank is to use the dry method which consist of starting the moss in a dry aquarium with extremely high humidity and low nutrients since it is carnivorous obviously. think of it like taking care of any other carnivorous plant, for example the more commonly known Venus fly trap (Dionaea muscipula for the nerds) if the plant has access to a lot of nutrients that it simply cannot tolerate it will develop mineral poisoning and the plant will eventually die.
The good news us that Utricularia graminifolia does now die but will remain as algae on the rocks so there is a chance that if given the proper environment the moss can come back.

The UG appears to have been a non grower. Ive yet to come across anyone who has successfully transferred it from pot to tank.

Just so you know, your channel is as proper as any other "proper aquascaping channel". As is your way of aquascaping. It works - what better proof of it being proper do you need? Yes, you break the rules but it only proves that you're a true artist. Aquascaping is an art, after all, right? Look at all the great artists throughout history. Following rules didn't make them great. Having their own unique styles did. And how did they get them? By breaking the rules. Tadaaam! :D

@Fishshopmatt Could I do a scape like that for African Dwarf Frogs? I believe the pebbles would be good for them but not sure about the carpetting plants
