Haven't played the game in a while but the x95r is special because it has a torso multi on 300 blackout and default ammo, if I'm not mistaken. It allows it to do like 40 damage to the body at close ranges and 5 shot torso all ranges with 300 blackout. Also the 556 conversation has 25 minimum damage weirdly.
One of my favorites as of the past six months or so has been the MP5/10 with the .40sw conversion, with t brake, sideways grip and a red dot of your choice. l turns it into the MP5/40 and does really good damage. Two shot headshot up close
One underrated setup that I love is the sl-9, which is the sl-8 with the 300 whisper ammo type. It has some bullet drop so less experienced players are recommended to using a ballistics tracker. This is a DMR that one shot headshot all ranges, two tap body all ranges, at 234 rpm with decently low recoil for a dmr. It is a scout, but slower and shoots faster. 64 body shot damage at range wow.
probably the most underrated that i've used, the k1a with one of the conversions, forgot what it's called. High recoil, but crazy two shot kill at range, 3 shot at long range i think, with pretty good penetration. the best setup that i have tried has been kosaku sight compensator, (you can try muzzle booster, i've never tried it), stubby grip, and green laser.
My personal main ever since the start of the game: the M4A1

Fast as hell, and super fun to speed around with and beam people at close-medium range
A very underrated gun is:
Tommy gun with the M1919 conv. It is basically a low recoil (more like controllable recoil) version of the MG42, just low penetration and bullets, but u can 3 shot up to 70~ish studs while firing at 1500 rpm!

The AN-94 is a pretty cool gun, although recently, people have found out about it a bit. It has near nonexistent recoil and you can use the burst mode as a DMR very effectively.
I have been using the an-94 and it has NO RECOIL if you use the right attachments.

My Personal Favorite gun in Phantom Forces is the MK11 (rank 3) with TA33 ACOG because medium range scopes have no scope sway and got buffed a few months back so we can actually see through them, Muzzle Brake for vertical recoil reduction, Angled Grip for improved ADS time and some recoil management, Tri Laser since three lasers are better than one and, Uranium Bullets for increased damage at range. TLDR MK11, TA33 ACOG, Muzzle Brake, Angled Grip, Tri Laser, Uranium Bullets. Also it is a beast once you get the fire rate down.

an underrated gun i've recently used is the .45 acp conversion of the l2a3 (or zx-7), ive done my first 100 kill game with it.
my setup is stubby grip, blue laser and t-break. any sight is okay

One setup that I really like is this good K2 Loadout: Eotech XPS2, Suppressor, Vertical Grip, Green Lazer and, Default ammo.

Another underrated gun so far nowadays is possibly the p90, yet it has had a hard hit on rotational recoil.

One really good underrated thing is the AWS with PM II and marksman kit
The MC51 with ARS supressor and silent ammo is very fun, it is extremely quiet, you're pretty much invisible on the mini map and the recoil is not that bad at all if you use the angled grip alongside green laser.
Integral is better for quietness though

about the Henry 45-70: the animation after reload is the lever action to chamber a bullet, if there are no bullets left before reload, like most guns.

SL-8 has Marksman Barrel which drastically makes the gun better albeit with lower firerate, it makes the bad bullet drop on .300 Whisper actually *somewhat* usable, it's also good with stock ammo

havent played in a few years but i remember the ak47 was kinda fun with no attachments also the kac spr was super underrated as it was a dmr with sniper damage but low ammo

Steven’s DB with slugs is one that I don’t see very often but have been using over a sniper rifle lately.
The ECR used to have a romanian grip, but stylis removed it since it makes the 556 ECR an even better version of the base M16A3 and made the old ECR pretty controllable for a gun that can easily 2 shot up to 90 studs
Also don't sleep on 9x19 AK12C. By stats it's basically the only gun you'll need. It increases overall damage and gave a torso multi enough to give a 4 hit kill torso all range, better velocity, way better damage dropoff, and way faster reload for a 20rd mag (which is offset by the reload speed), slight decrease in max dmg range (also offset by the dmg, multiplier, & range buff) and increase in recoil as the downside
Also the MSG is a monster, or at least I think it still is with a specific setup of halbek device and romanian grip. I don't know if stylis have fixed it, but the halbek device will only reduce recoil to a massive degree on most of guns that have the multi layered recoil system. Combine that with the romanian grip and the MSG90 LITERALLY doesn't kick
One of the most underrated is the scar pdw with, kousaku sight, stubby, muzzle break, full stock and the 7.62 conversion (scar h PDW conversion)

Snowy you should do another no recoil setups video using the an-94 with delta sight, red laser, vertical grip, R2 suppressor.
AWM with AWP conversion (I forgot the real name of the specific ammo) and Global Offensive scope. That’s it. It’s my go to sniper rifle and I always use the “black box” aim mode of the GO scope instead of the dual-rendered alt aim mode.
my msg90 setup is Coyote Sight, T-Brake, Angled Grip, Blue Laser, The conversion or wtv its called that gives u a 2x headshot multi. I'm not that good at fps but this setup gives me my highest avg kill games lately.
There is a gun that i bearly see and i think it is really good to be fair it is the
L2a3 with the atachments of mini sight,long barrel,vertical grip (you dont need it) with a blue lazer and the ammo conversion of .45acp
Also if u want the best hipfire control if u are under rank 40, I'd recommend using m4a1 following these attachments:
ARS suppressor
COMP aimpoint or delta sight
Angle gril
Green laser
And if u want more dmg, use armor penetration
DT11 with paradox choke and slugs making it more of a sniper is pretty fun

underrated guns i love are the groza 4 and the tommy m1919 with box grip and vertical grip (hipfire) its basically just an m231 with more rpm and better damage but a higher skill cap because of lower mag and longer reload
Very underrated setup is the tar 21 with duplex, stubby, Ctar barrel, blue laser, and either t brake or muzzle break.
I think this is super underrated setup, which can 2 shots torso up to 35 studs i believe:

The AK12C is a beast but in burst mode, the time to kill is really fast.

the stg with 5.56 and the ak105 and 103 with bars barrel are also pretty unused but good
Mc51 is better without integral suppressor cos that extra fire rate is real noticeable (I have 4K kills and like 8 with integral) I recommend ARS suppressor for the same feeling but lower recoil

The recoil is a little rough but it's managable, the guns damage is so good, first setup 3shots very far and the 2nd one gives you a hard hitting sorta like pdw/br hybrid.
i never see anyone other than myself using the L85A2. Its not the best but it deserves more love.
gyrojet is 100% underrated, it's borderline overpowered if you get good with dealing with the velocity
2 shot torso all ranges, 1 shot head all ranges (yes point blank) with no recoil to speak of and from my experience it seems like it only has spread if you spam so if you just tap then wait a moment it becomes p much perfectly accurate
if you're good with the scout in cqb then the gyrojet will let you stomp even harder because you now have 350 rpm while still getting to keep 1 tap head but also allowing you to go for a double torso instead
I feel like the AUG A2 should've been on the list.
It's criminally underrated.
Honestly, a CQB hecate build with rat shot is always fun😊
Use the Aug a1 with the kousaku sight tbrake green laser hera qtr grip and .223 rem, almost no recoil and extremety good from range and close range
In case you do a part 2, steyr, choice of sight, light barrel, skeleton grip, blue laser, .307 conv. Legit a sleeper build that dominates in cqc lol
A good underrated gun is the vss vintorez on auto I don't see it much but is one of my favorites
for the mc51sd, i prefer vert grip and green laser, also its stock irons are honestly better than most other sights for me
One gun I rarely see used is the AUG A3 and that should be a crime. Coyote sight, muzzle break, folding grip, and blue laser turn it into an absolute no recoil monster with its only draw back being sub par long range damage because it's using 5.56mm

All the British guns; like L85A2, L22, L86 LSW, L2A3 are very good, but they are not appear so much. You can play them even without attachments, because they are exactly laserbeam and they are so good for mid/ long range gunfight.

The Scar pdw is basically just a sidegrade of the ak74: slightly higher recoil, better mobility/handling and a couple interesting conversions. (also lower pen)

for mc51pd, you should've used long barrel or squad barrel whatever it's called
I've really been enjoying the akm with 366 shot making it the vpo-209, don't see it very often so I would call it underated

No one knows this but fal para shorty is a 3 to 4 shot and can 2 shot head to like 70 studs and at 700rpm (have fun with the recoil)
If you can’t control it try the fal 50.63 it still slams but does less damage
SL8 it is just a semi automatic assault rifle, but I really love to play with that :)
I would like to see people use the l22 more its not a bad gun

Got a pretty good setup I use on AK12BR that u rarely see.
Sight - Whatever u Prefer (I use Kobra for some reason)
Grip - Stubby Grip
Other - Lazer (Mine is Blue if that matters)
Ammo - Default. Havent unlocked any- But be my guest.
Overall this gun is quite good- As a low level I pop off with this gun so much. There are a few downsides. One of them not being recoil and Damage is decent with 4 shot a long rang and 3-4 at close.
here's my wierd setup, rex with the first scope, speedloader, and comp with the 870 with an acog, angled irons, and blue laser
As the man with 14k kills on the AUG A3 PARA XS, I personally recommend 2 variant setups, one for mobility and one for pure DPS, both use blue or yellow laser, stock ammo and sight of preference, mobility uses osprey and skeleton, and DPS uses muzzle booster and stubby.

It's heavy, but just the thing you need when 3 dingle-berries turn the corner and you need a quick way to fill them all with boolets

You've now got a gun that is silent, and packs a punch. Like a fart in the wind
Use something very very similar to both, and they both work. Definetly try out the MC51SD if you got time due to lower unlock rank than tommy.

Stubby Grip (helps with side to side recoil)
Extend Stock (accuracy)
Tracerless (accuracy)
vss vintorez is an underrated gun its so fun to use
An-94 setup:

rpk12: amt-term, t-brake or ars, stubby, blue laser, 7.62 - has a lot of recoil but crazy 3hk ranges (use alt aim lol)
colt lmg: amt-term, muzzle brake or t-brake, stubby, blue laser, 20 tact is a rly good type20 m16a3 mesh, 7.62 is a faster version of the 7.62 rpk with worse ranges and less recoil
mac10: mars, sionics surpressor, vertical grip, green laser, standard ammo - silent hipfire beam
ak12br: whatever sight, m-brake, angled (or stubby but the ak has slow aim-in), blue laser, 7.62 - pretty much a pre-nerf hamr
m16a4: whatever sight, m-brake, stubby, blue laser, 7.62 - mobility of an m16 but with a 3hk range of 103 studs, crazy if you can control the recoil
