Nice vid. Currently stuck doing hw all weekend every weekend until May. The second that's finished, I plan on doing the same thing on my Sundays. At what point do you have time for regular chores, like grocery shopping or cleaning up around the house? I have to imagine that's tough with your busy sched
Good video. It's a food for thought i like that. You know my goal is to become a singer and musician and write my songs (and sing other people songs) but it's pretty hard to achieve and i think that some times i kinda lose my way or my faith in myself or my micro goals are kinda far away to reach etc. so i liked this video because it's a reminder to me to not forget your goal and how to break it in smaller goal and work your way in your final target!!! Keep it up man. Oooh, also, what do you do besides youtube??? (Because you said that you work every day)
Great video jeff - I can already see a marked improvement from the earlier vids and you seemed to have a clearer goal/target. Look forward to many more.
Jeff, thanks for sharing about your Sundays & how you use it to chip away at accomplishing your bigger goals. I work as an engineering & supervisor at Chevron & easily put in 10+ hours a day including weekends sometimes. My commute to/from downtown Houston is about an hour each way. I also work as a coach as part of a ministry helping others. Add to that investing in my relationship with my wife & 3 sons & it's a pretty full life which leaves me pretty exhausted & I need some time for me & to rest. I agree that it is important to allocate time to move the needle in accomplishing goals. Otherwise they remain dreams & never become reality. At the same time, I have a tendency to be a workaholic & have burned out in the past & that is not pretty. Living a balanced life is one of the most challenging goals for me. What are your thoughts on taking a day or sometime to rest & do something that refreshes you & re-charges your batteries? Dennis
+Dennis Zetterberg hi. Ya i feel ya 100%. Maybe it wasn't clear, but i think its necessary to take time for yourself. Which is what my Sundays are. It is my recharge day where i do whatever i want. It IS my rest day. If i don't take care of myself i have nothing to give to others!
Definitely agree to having time to recharge and spend time on yourself. For me I have a job in retail 40+ hours but my two days off I work for me ( currently trying to be a film maker) in any way that I can. But I also think that's what the grind is all about . Love these vids man , leaf leaf leaf leaf , lol
+Matt_Leal haha ya. Totally. Take it from me, the entertainment creative field is grueling. Gotta grind hard but keep some sanity so the passion doesn't die.
I'm about to ask a very dull question, but sometimes you have your own personal goals, but either you are depressed, or the world is keeping you down, or you're just too tired to do it. How do you find the strenght/inspiration to do it?
Buno stop chasing the dollar and slow down. Why do you work? to get paid or to fill time?- im talking about on weekends here. what is success? what is the point of life? to chase self made goals and have self made fullfillment? whats the higher purpose in the Buno life?

+Wes Tavares i do groceries on Sunday. I don't own many things, so cleaning from top to bottom takes only 30min. Minimalism rules.
Totally agree
