I've gone for drain, dry, clean and refill for the diff and gearbox, I'll flush and change the oil in both again after the first proper run out when everything has got nice and warm. The engine I'm going to drop the sump and check all the bearings. Luckily the water never filled the bores so we got away with that, just need to keep an eye on the bottom end.
How did the water get in the diff and gearbox?
@jackmullett9198 the diff has a breather, I'm guessing gearbox was via the gear lever.
How do you actually deal with a water flooded engine, box and diff? I’ve never come across it before? (Thankfully 😂)
