Love this live rendition (and song)! Great photos as well. It must be roadie Mal Evans doing the cow bell! Also notable that this performance was not featured on the album "LIve at BBC."
I’d assume it’s Ringo. Don’t think Mal could’ve gotten that timing down. Ringo had to help him with it when he did the anvil on Maxwell’s Silver hammer.
This is just too dang good, even with the unwanted scratching sound!! Thank you so much Blindowl Videos!! Always Loved John's voice on this one!! Oh Yeah!! 😊
Love this! I remember The Beatles on Saturday Club. Don't know how many appearances they made, but they seemed to be on quite often. The programme was broadcast 10-12am every Saturday morning. Many thanks for posting this.
Way before drugs, well they all took pills but I mean the heroin & unfortunately Lennon became lazy & disinterested in The Beatles & ended up collaborating with Ono. This was a very great period for The Beatles, especially for those who prefer early Beatles.

Great quality version of this version. Hope a cleaned up version of the 2nd episode From Us To You comes in the future.

Thank you, I always loved this one.
You're welcome. I love it too.
I remember Saturday Club well. I think it used to go out at about 11am on the Light Programme and was hosted by Brian Matthew.
Wonderful to have you back. You disappeared for months. What happened?
Os caras foi demais. Ben rhodes
One of only a couple songs with a guitar solo by Lennon.
Too little cowbell!
Lennon was The Beatles at this stage.
