Life is a random journey. My wife immigrated to Canada from South Korea at 27. In my rural hometown, which lacks diversity, she faced workplace racism. As a Canadian, this makes me ashamed. Often, those who discriminate are struggling themselves and looking for someone to blame. We relocated to a more diverse area, and she hasn't experienced racism for years. However, I'm worried about the recent increase in racial tensions in the media and the growing number of people facing hardships. Don't let insignificant people derail your life, but do prioritize your safety, as others have suggested. People in desperate situations sometimes do desperate and irrational things.
I am sorry to hear about what she experienced and thank you for your kind words! Hopefully the worry will not come true and wish your family all the best ❤
@@SusantoHalim-e5g The challenge is that racist incidents are often unpredictable and can only be addressed after they occur. I would consider relocating to another country if it meant ensuring my wife's safety and peace of mind. Ultimately, I refuse to let her live or work in an environment where she feels constantly threatened or fearful.
Please try your best not to be discouraged. When someone says something hurtful, it often makes us question how many others share the same sentiment. But just know that there are many of us in the world that despise bigotry in all forms. 🙏🏽
thanks for your kind words ❤ Yeah one of the things I appreciate the most in this country, is meeting people with different opinions. Either good or bad it is interesting a wide range of diversity exists on the same land
