I recommend "Sung-sim-dang" in Daejeon. It is 50 minutes away from Seoul Station by KTX. And "Sung-sim-dang"is inside Daejeon station. But if you walk about 20 minutes from Daejeon Station, there is the main store of "Sung-sim-dang" A three-story building is filled with hundreds of different kinds of bread. For Daejeon citizens, "Tout les jours" or "Paris baguette" is not good. It is famous for its tasteless bread...
There are some famous French broadcasters who live in Korea. (fabian, robin....etc ^*^) They say that the bread sold in Korea is weird because it is sweet. But that's the difference in culture. For Koreans, the main food is rice, and bread is the concept of snacks. Bread is a similar concept to "snack or ice cream." The French people also think sweets are normal for ice cream, right? So sweets are normal for us and they've been developed that way. If you know this culture, you can easily relate to it.
