  • This is a short video on making some cheap rock sliders for your Suzuki Sierra Samurai. This is made for people with basic fabrication skills. who enjoy welding and making things on a budget.
I use a Rossi Inverter welder and a Lincoln 180c with flux core in this build

Great idea to use them as air capacitors.
Should make airing back up when you hit the tarmac much easier.

Building mine, and just modified it to use your bracket system. Don't like welding or bolting thru the frame. Thanks

Nice mate, I had to pop off the plastic bracket to secure the fuel lines to the chassis and out the slider bracket between the fuel lines and chassis.

I really appreciate your video. I am about to start a similar project on my own zook, and hadn't settled on a bracket design. Did you only weld the outside seam of the bracket? I assume if you welded the inside, it might foul on the chassis rail?

I welded both but allowed some room so it wouldn't foul to hard. And also to have space so water isn't entrapped
