Phantom Menace also mentions Midichlorians, and then its never mentioned again in the canon. Phantom Menace is not the greatest source.

@@toriabuschinow8374 Michael's too used to Gavin, he's just laughing at him instead of getting frustrated. Reminds me of a recent Love Letter Let's Roll, where Gavin suggests keeping the hearts they receive up their asses. Everyone but Michael has to take a few seconds to just look at Gavin, and go "What the fuck?!"
Michael doesn't pause at all, and jumps straight into criticizing the idea.
I think he was mixing up half of this stuff with Star Trek. Maybe that is why he was so baffled by the fact earth didn't exist in Star Wars and that he thought Kansas or Iowa(where kirk is actually from) was involved.
This actually makes sense. And considering how on the recent Off topic Gavin said that this happened before he had seen all the movies gives some credit to this theory.

+Zorgod I've seen most of the star wars movies and I never thought about it. He's absolutely right. You hear it so much that you sort of just tune it out, and I didn't really realize it was in the past until watching this video. (I obviously knew it wasn't on earth, but you can tell just by looking at the planets they're on.)

To be fair the game tells you (in the Xbox version) that the compass points to their bed in a quick notification, then never does again, so that fact is super easy to miss and misinterpret.
It's less dumb than that, yeah, but this is the thing...Gavin has Headlight Fluid as well, so collectively, Gavin is still the dumbest thing to ever happen to Rooster Teeth. :P

oh the fire hydrant conversation. Here's the gist of it from what I can remember. In England they dont have fire hydrants, they essentially just have wells covered up by manhole covers that the fire men pump water out of.
So you can imagine Gavin's confusion when they started talking about kids popping the cap of the fire hydrant to play in the street.

It's like in Lord of the Rings. Humans are everywere in fiction, no matter if it makes sense or not.
Funny thing is Earth is technically in the universe of star wars, you see this ancient race of aliens came to earth took a good chunk of the local humans with them and bred them for slave labour. But when said aliens had their connection to the force ripped away from them, their slaves including the humans led a massive scale revolution and overthrew them.
Years later, still come back and watch this when I need a solid laugh in the middle of the day. Classic.

Crazy thing is, Gavin's actually really smart about a LOT of things. He's just extraordinarily stupid when it comes to some of the most common sense stuff. Like how Star Wars is in a totally different galaxy and a long ass time ago.

Just for clarity, they're humans but not from Earth. All the humans are from the planet Coruscant; and since Coruscant was the location of the Galactic Senate, and a major trade hub, humanity spread across the galaxy faster than other races.
Actually they never specifically say where humans are from, and while Coruscant is definitely a hub, it is not a home planet for humans, especially when there’s evidence that Coruscant was enhabited by aliens before humans arrived. At least in expanded universe.
I thought humans were from Tython? Or is that just where the Jedi Started (expanded universe)?

The Wiz from what I have read on Star Wars lore they are human. The origins of humans was apparently lost but they have been around as long as anyone can remember. Their original home world is also unknown
