I just feel the 15k variant of the Realme 8 doesn't make any sense at all. 4 GB of RAM in a phone that costs 15k in just unacceptable in 2021.

The realme 8 is available for 14.5k 6gb varient and 13.5k for 4gb as there is 1.5k discount offer on flipkart with credit card. So technically same price🙂

(Also Redmi note 10 pro had 1000rs discount with icici card so the price will become 15k).so,when comparing it's better to look at launch prices , because some people buy with EMI and won't have that particular card and offline buyers too won't have any discounts .

I think the battery % of both should be almost equal before doing the speedtest. At 20% capacity, phones usually throttle their CPUs.

Realme 8 vs Redmi Note 10 is not very fair in terms of price and segment tbh. The Redmi Note 10 should be against Realme 8i, just like Realme 6i (global version with G80) vs Redmi Note 9 (G85) last year.

Game mode has been here for the past couple of years or so, there have been phones with game mode on that performed well in RAM mgmt round (you can refer to my own speed tests in the past)

The video is biased tbh. Realme 64% battery, Redmi 20% at the start. The processing speed and internet on the Redmi is already slowed down by the system to save battery.

Where is the consistency? Good question.. Looks like newer models of mobiles are making more of gimmicks and are not concentrating on cores.. A few years back some phones even had metal body, but nowadays even phones at 20K range are using plastic /glasstic back.. How sad..

I thought technology jock is unbiased, but what's with the 64% and 20% battery level difference in a speed teat? Surely, you know low battery level will cause the system to downclock the chipset to save battery. This video seems created to make the Realme 8 look far superior.
