What a delightful conversation! I very much love the Book of Job as well. In it, I can see God in such an intimate way. I see His mind, His thought processes and His great pride and intimate love for all the creatures He created.
God's description of Leviathan is so detailed and His love for this fearsome and ugly creature (to my mind's eye) forces me to see beyond the horror of this thing, and understand how God knows him and his ways as he swims through the sea.To God, this sea monster is a plaything in comparison to His own glorious majesty as its creator.
Then there is Behemoth, likely a brontosaurus with a whip of a tail and the ability to fill the space he inhabits with an awesome presence, makes me think that Job lived so long ago, he knew all about these creatures as well. And Job's faith in the God he loves comes through as he wrestles with the sorrows he is being put through.
Then you have God talking about the majesty of His creation among the stars, He knows their tiniest movements and his description of the Pleiades reminds me of the first time I saw their awesome misty blue brilliance in a 2.5" diameter backyard telescope for the first time.
Every time I read Job, it feels like God is showing me something of His beautiful personality. I eagerly await as my life enters its closing years at age 72, to finally walk with God in the garden. There is so much to talk about and a whole eternity to contemplate His glory in His presence. God bless you guys for publishing this video.
