I lived between Molalla and Colton for 5 years back in the early 90s. We regularly took the family to Silver Falls but I wish we would have known about Shotgun Falls. So beautiful.
Silver Falls is an absolute gem. Shotgun Falls is fairly unknown. No trailhead and not really a trail either. It's a super short but fun little excursion to the falls. Classic plunge waterfall. Felt bad about the beaver though.
I’m from Wa State and now live in Maine but miss the PNW so much! So I started a channel mostly for East Coast hikes. THANKS for sharing this beauful place, will def check out your videos!
Wow, from one side to the other. The PNW is definitely a special place. Will be cool to see what Maine is like. I'll check out your channel. Best of luck with it.
That's funny. It's not a waterfall talked about much. There's no trailhead and there isn't an actual trail leading to the waterfall either. It's such a short stroll to the falls it's definitely worth checking out. Plus you have the river across the street to hang out at.
@@Squirt03 It's down S Mollala Forest road. Going south it's past Cedar Grove Campground and slightly past Molalla River Recreation Area. I parked around here and checked out the river. Then I walked down the road to Shotgun Creek.
A beautiful hike with a stunning river and a wonderful waterfall-truly amazing nature! Thanks for sharing, my friend. 👍
Yes it was such a great hike. I had a lot of fun on that one. Thanks for watching.
Beautiful video. Beautiful scenery. Thanks.

Really beautiful river and stunning waterfall. Sweet! Sad to see the beaver though.
I love the hidden waterfalls that few are aware of. Yeah not sure what happened to the beaver. Maybe fell. Molalla river is pretty sweet no doubt.
