Mid 40's for a Pathfinder SL and plenty on the lots. Couldn't wait for a possible hybrid, so we leased this, drove it 700 miles last week and love it! Most comfortable seats and ride we ever have known. There is a reasons why Nissans sales are way up this year. Way more affordable than the other 3 rows, great design, standard safety and other features and well built.
Why pour your hard earned $80k into a petrol guzzling, maintenance requiring and ever breaking down car? For $72k, you drive-away in a Tesla Model Y, that has more power, features and space.
@@AKA001 BULL! No way an EV can tow 5,000 Lb boat 550 miles in 8 hours. Not to mention a Tesla Model Y has a maximum towing weigh of 3,500 Lbs to my 6,000 Lbs.
06:15 is not how you access the 3rd row. That is how you fold the seats flat for cargo or in her case have the seat out of the way for her camera. The normal way to accress the 3rd row is to touch the round button below the handle she used OR the button found on the back of the seat.
77k is a bit high asking price with the level of techs you got with this one really. Might go for a Huyndai Palisade or a CX9 with almost full options at that similar price point. Nissan really missed it this time with the old X-Trail 2023 model as well.
Palisade drives like a tank especially the 2.2D model which lacks punch big time. 3.8L Petrol is better but is thirstier and only comes in 2WD which is such a downer for such an expensive, large SUV. CX9 is brilliant but severely dated. CX90 is going to be a much better option. But space wise, Pathfinder takes the cake. But Mazda is a far superior maker than Nissan and Hyundai
Well eventually there has to be a solution right? Even if we cant percieve it now, Technology is advancing. Also not saying it would work now, but there wasn't any sort of radical innovation here.
Thanks Jenny. 😊 You did a fine job of calmly and efficiently describing what could possibly be my next vehicle. This or the Murano - if they hybridize the engines for their 2024 model. If not, hello Mazda!
Cylinder deactivation is what led me to ditching my Silverado 1500 6.2L, and my Chevy Tahoe, because of catastrophic engine failure. I now have a Nissan Titan XD, and am Armada.LOVE THEM!!
I live in Canada, and I'd say we aren't ready to go full on electric. I don't think we have the infrastructure to be charging what amounts to millions of car sized smartphones every night. We will get there at some point, but internal combustion engines weill be around for a long time. Heck, they are selling vehicles with V8 engines here, and some are supercharged. As regards the seat belt in the 3rd row, my 2017 Dodge Grand Caravan has a similar 3rd row, and the seatbelt tucks up into the roof when the 3rd row seats are folded down. Easy peasey. I can tolerate a CVT, but when you get behind the wheel of a vehicle with a conventional automatic, it just feels right. Thanks for the well done concise review, keep 'em coming.
Thanks for your comment, agree a lot! Will be interesting when countries start imposing the no combustion laws! Re the seatbelt, it's very handy although annoying to unlock, it has a small notch where you need to insert a key or other object to unlock it.
You're doing the seats wrong 😂 LOL. To get access to third row, there's a button behind the backs or in front of the pull level where upon pressing, will lift and slide the second row seats up and forward. Nissan calls it Latch and Glide technology, basically allowing you to keep child seat in place and still being able to access 3rd row.
Electric cars are a crock of you know what as they are ultimately just as "dirty" for the environment as an ICE vehicle. All you do is push the environmental impact somewhere else. Alternate energy technologies are the way to go.
Which ones?? I am very interested in alternate energy but who is actually doing something tangible? There are lots of issues with electric cars but we are being thrust in that direction atm, whether we like it or not. My hope is that better methods and materials emerge as tine goes on.

If there’s one thing about Jenny, she’ll always make a good & honest review.
Aw thanks Luke! It's important to me to keep it real, thanks for noticing 😊
I recall there is a button on the shoulder to access the 3rd row.
Ah… it’s comical how Nissan is slowly digging their own grave… 3.5 V6. At $2.00 a litre I’m sure people are lining up to get one…
Being smaller turbo engines requires higher octane petrol that costs a lot more, I don't see the money value being different.

@@ClassicFIHD good on ya. Because that’s what the average urban Australian does…

Electric cars have created this uncertainty... that was a nice way of putting that question at the end
Good luck with an electric 4x4. I’m sure they’ll be great on river crossings and that month towing a large campervan across the Tanami desert.

Whatever happened to the cylinder deactivation technology? Are they not good enough for big engines?

Why did this channel pop up on my UA-cam feed after all these years ???🤯

@@edenakasha7574 I hear you, but I am hoping that hydrogen will be an option, as it is infinitely cleaner than electric across all measures.
Good review.. OK car
I ordered mine on 2nd Aug 2022, almost 9 months later there's no news still. Stay clear of this one as at this point it is just a phantom of a car.
