@@thedarkflowkiller If you have played the game you would probably understand what i meant. But maybe i should be more specific. In the game you start with the episode 1 and in one very hard level this music just got played over and over again.

how had I missed this one! Awesome job Marc!! This is one of my favorite soundtracks of the whole saga. Williams nailed the romantic tone of the prequels, he made something different yet in the same universe. By the way I have both the regular album and the full score (blue maul face cover). I don't recall the few seconds of Anakin getting into the cockpit!

Fellowship has some crazy horn parts, notamment the chase to the Bruinen Ford (just before Rivendell), with a nice mess not included in the film, and the Watcher's theme (the creature guarding the West Gate of Moria). I would LOVE to see a video on your mic setup. I'm looking into starting myself and I'd like to upgrade my mic (blue snowball) and was wondering how you have yours set up. I'm looking into a Shure SM57 but I'm not sure how to set up xlr cables with my laptop or where the best placement is/best environment. I really love how your recordings sound. Thanks!

Did you have a score to follow when writing the parts for this, or did you transcribe this completely by ear?
I've transcribed several Star Wars pieces by ear but for this one I used a full score !

Is there any reason why u use 1-2 fingerings on e2 (trumpet) instead of 0 (besides coming from french horn ;-))? Playing e2 without valve use makes intonation easier for most trumpet players. :-)
Haha yeah it's purely because I often naturally use horn fingerings ( I've been playing the horn for 26 years and the trumpet for only 7 years ! )
Luckily for me 1-2 also works on the trumpet :p

Im a trumpet player for 25 years now and tried french horn about ten years ago - never managed it to get fingerings right on fast pieces. Perhaps its time to try again. Thank you for your awesome work!
