@@loganboland MIDI Monitor in ableton. it's not really a "plugin", more of a midi utility to see what notes/chords your playing. it would go before Serum or a soft synth
This is a rare Neve console but we don‘t really need it…Jesus Christ, does he even know how to use it ? That guy was really not very convincing as a sound engineer, let alone producer.
Not to be a hater but brodie goes in to the studio, sets his laptop up and uses the 132k neve console as a desk...then claims that he has all this analog outboard gear as plugins 😄Then proceeds to use the AKAI instead of any of the available keys gear...then says the bass doesn't sound muddy enough compared to his mock run...at this point just record at home 🥴
@@rowengb My point exactly, no disrespect for the guy, he might do great sounding productions on his laptop, but he is in the wrong space. Of course there are plug ins of every great piece of outboard gear and they don’t sound bad. It’s the inspiration that outboard gear gives to the engineer, that makes the difference. But that doesn’t apply to the young generation anymore. So again, he is the wrong guy for this place. But maybe this is a pretty good display of what spotify stands for. Having all this great expensive equipment just for show off, because they can and there is nobody who uses, let alone appreciates it. After all whoever approved this documentary to be released, has no idea what this studio could be and will probably not work for spotify much longer because it didn’t make it look any good.
So, here you have it, folks, all your sweat, blood and tears that are put into art that you create and upload to Spotify, but not getting any payment out of it, your money that you could invest in better gear, all that gear is in Spotify HQ's :D For fuck sake, we are living in the Kingdom of warped mirrors. It's insane. It's surreal.
Water bottle on console at beginning giving me anxiety 😂 you did great, excited to hear the final version of the song!
HAHA whoops
“I don’t feel this way anymore, but somebody else does.” A gem!! 💎🔥🙌🏽
You'll never finish a song alone in a studio, you need someone there to let you know someone's gonna listen to it.
its all a process fs
Love this! Thanks for the tour!❤😂the Invisalign’s

So rad 🔥 can artists book this or is it just by invite?
In my algorithm probably because I like studio stuff. Just listened to Floorboards: very cool production/vibes.

@@noahhenderson BETTTT IM SO HYPED FOR IT TO COME OUT
Go to a really expensive studio to prove that you’d rather make music in other, organic, real, less than perfect, human spaces….
the best combo
Spotify sure seems to be doing alright shafting artists with their .0000000001 cent per stream payout….Fairchild, 48 channel Neve, and on and on
woow spoti has studios wtf
yessir

i know how to use it lol, just unnecessary & overkill for most stuff. great to process drums on the way in tho

I am so sick of this "I'm too cool to make big un-lazy movements" and shuffling feet when walking. Act like you give a shit.

Precisely! We are living in truly bizarre and disconcerting times, to say the least.
