That's kind of the point fighting games do the same. All they can really change is the story and game modes while updating graphics. It's the only problem with follow-up games, whereas longevity games take years to develop and always bring something new
I really like the Eliminator Gauntlet Match. It plays like how 16 bit video game Royal Rumble matches used to play like where you could eliminate people with pinfalls and submissions.
It's always weird to me that the games feature blood and chairshots to the head because WWE is so identified with not having those on their actual shows.
I think it's because the WWE games also represent Pro wrestling as a whole, they always have moves and entrance animations from wrestlers across the world and across multiple eras. So I think they leave that stuff in because it's so iconic to wrestling in general, and it wouldn't be fun to grab a chair and not hit a face. When you first start the games the Blood is turned off by default though which is definitely really weird
I been playing it for 2 days now and I can honestly say that I'm pleasantly surprised.. I been enjoying it they actually put effort in this one and it's very noticeable..even creating a caw.. the amount of options and little things such as different hair to choose from as a African American.. it's really appreciated.. go get it
It desperately needs several patches, gaming with custom CAWS crashes the game. Weapons fly and freeze, so many sound effect issues. The game is an improvement but it desperately needs a fix, Entrances online for customs doesn't work
imho, the best new feature is the extended amount of Signature and Finisher slots. I do wish, however, that you weren't limited to 2 finishers/Signatures per position (Say, in front of the opponent) for one, it meanst hat Undertaker can't have CHokeslam, Last Ride AND Old School as signature. It also means, you can't have 2 "Standard" Finishers + 1 Super FInisher Standing in frotn of the opponent.
I like how Pat McAfee is added to the games 2 years late but Johnny Knoxville isn't 😢. 2K is late on a lot of things like the WarGames match and the Gauntlet match types, and the Avalanche Styles Clash and even roster members like the NXT UK roster and NXT stars too although now NXT UK is dead also wasn't Tegan Nox in 2K22?
Having the special guest referee Match mode feels like I'm playing wwe 13 and wwe 2k14 all over again and for them to bring it back is cool it's been years since I've played special guest referee and that was on xbox 360 time flies

I would love to see one be multi-year where if you don't win the rumble you still have a chance for a mid car title to build your person up more and try to win it the following year for one of the major titles

I've enjoyed it so far. I think there is a caveat to whether or not I'd recommend it though. It all depends on how much the new features (Shown in the video) are worth to you and if you have 2K23 already. If you don't have 2K23 or have it but feel like you must have the new features and/or updated roster then its worth it. If not then I'd just stick to 2K23 as the core gameplay is very much the same with minor tweaks.

@@Rocketboy1313 that's you, I'm speaking about me, there's 2 settings in the game arcade and simulation I feel when you play the simulation style it should be more realistic all around to the point if you throw someone off an ambulance to the floor it's really going to hurt them and arcade mode is the total opposite.

Like, every other game gets it right, just not these. Also, can we be in more than one title ranking at a time now? Because I literally stopped playing 2k23 due to its inability to allow a wrestler to be in multiple divisions at once. like how stupid is that?
