Yuuuuup 👆🏼👆🏼👆🏼 As a child I felt such a sense of relief when Tina actually got Michael to stop for those smokes at the cookie woman… for some reason I thought she was going to be all good after that and then BAM she’s gone 😭😭😭
One of my favorite things about the Loomis timeline is how Loomis becomes more and more unhinged with each movie lol. It makes sense. He been dealing with Michael since he was 6. By 13, Loomis cane ti the conclusion that Michael was just purely evil. When he escaped in the first movie, Loomis was worried and knew Michael needed to be stopped. After shooting him 6 times straight and Michael just got up and walked away, that was the beginning of the descent of Loomis' sanity (I shot him 6 times! He isn't human!) These movies are just about Michael. They're just as much about his biggest adversary/opp, Dr. Samuel Loomis... In the recent reboot trilogy, they fake us out with Michael's new doctor bei g "The New Loomis", when actuality, it's actually Laurie that's the new Loomis...
I like that this fandom is given that timeline so many names lol. I’ve mostly seen the “Jamie Lloyd timeline” or “the thorn timeline” but honestly the “Dr Loomis timeline” is better.
@@MBG.426 I like the Jamie Lloyd timeline in regards to just this trilogy of sequels, but the overall timeline is the Loomis timeline for meel considering that it must include the first two films, and Loomis is Michael's main adversary. I think people forget how prominent his role was in the franchise, more so than Laurie Strode, who I love. I don't even bother calling it the Thorn timeline because no lol...
"What if it's Jamie Lee Curtis 😅" That would be a huge plot twist! I didn't necessarily hate this movie as others did but there were some big issues explained in a documentary about Rachel, Michael crying, & the end kidnapping. Too much suspense leading to the end but there were some good for me. Sadly the next film doesn't help my case but oh well
Rachel's death was so quick because originally Michael was going to stab her in the mouth/throat, but the actress refused to film it & she wasn't happy about being killed off, which is why it's all over so fast. p.s. good luck with Halloween 6! There are two wildly different cuts of the movie & you can guarantee whichever version you watch you'll have people saying you shoulda watch the other version 😂
A lot of fans really complained not only about Racheal's stupid and carefree way but also how easily she got killed and didnt even put up a fight as in Part 4. Most thoguht 8 was bad but at least Lorrie put up a fight. Racheal didnt even try
Yeah, not only did they wrote Rachel very out of character (this is the same woman in the last movie that saw a random figure in the dark alley and did what most horror characters don't do. Haul ass in the opposite direction and ask no questions). Such a shame considering she's not only an underrated final girl, but also lowkey one of the best to do it. But unfortunately, this movie did that stupid, horror trope I hate so much. Killing off the final girl of the previous movie I'm the beginning of the sequel...
@@AshLee92490 They gave her so little to do but also considering she survived part 4 she is such an air head when Michael is clearly in her house. I think they wrote Ellie out so fast it must had been she was busy doing another film and could only do a limited version of the role
@flatcapman I doubt that was it. Horror sequels, especially slashers, have a really dumb habit of killing off the final girl of the previous film at the beginning of the following film. They probably did it here to make Jamie have to face Michael this time(because it's scarier when a 9 year old is left completely vulnerable against a monster), so they had to find a way to get rid of Rachel while getting an early kill in the film. Have Michael get rid of his biggest obstacle from getting to Jamie early, and it leaves Jamie wide open the rest of the movie because her main protector is gone. That and probably "shock factor". Just an absolute disservice to the character that they wrote her so out of character in order to do it. Rachel is such an underrated final girl and deserves so much better. Easily in my Top 10 Final Girls (maybe even Top 5)...
Halloween 5 is easily among the top 3 in the franchise. In fact, there's only been 4 legitimate Halloween movies...1, 2, 4, and 5. THAT'S the series. Everything else was just them trying to fix something that wasn't broken.
@@AshLee92490 I think that would depend on what made you like Halloween in the first place. I love 5 because it's built around the same elements that made me love the original. Very few of the sequels have even TRIED to do that....
Honestly I don’t hate that head canon. For me it’s 1, 2, 4 and H20 but I respect what 5 was ATTEMPTING to be even if it wasn’t what I’d call successful at it. The parts were there, but so many missed opportunities specifically with Jaime’s character arc.
@@tgriffin3059😂😂😂 5 is easily top 3 worst of the whole franchise from Jamie Lee Curtis’s era to Danielle Harris era to Rob Zombie’s era 5 sits right behind resurrection. Then Halloween 2 Rob zombie’s comes behind part 5
This is actually my first time seeing a Michael myers movie. When i didn’t understand it i went back and watched from the beginning to this movie and then i understood lol. Facts on this movie: • Lowest grossing film in the entire series, according to Box Office Mojo. It only made $11.5 million dollars against a budget of $5.5 million dollars. • Don Shanks was originally set to wear the same mask that George P. Wilbur had worn in Halloween 4: The Return of Michael Myers (1988) in order to retain consistency between the movies. The mask did not fit Shanks, so a new one was made. Don Shanks revealed that it was extremely difficult to breathe in the mask because it had no ventilation. • Shanks did all of his own stunts in the film, including swimming in 30 degree water and crashing a car into a tree at 30 miles an hour and narrowly escaping the fire that ensued. • The last film in the series to feature a pumpkin in the opening credits until Halloween (2018). • Don Shanks is the only person of Native American ancestry to portray Michael. Don Shanks was 39 years old, playing the 32 year old Michael Myers. •Moustapha Akkad has said that one of his biggest regrets about the film was killing off the character of Rachel Carruthers. In retrospect, he would've kept her alive, but she was killed in an attempt to show that no one, not even Rachel, was safe from Michael.
The actress playing Rachel refused the original death in the script having scissors shoved down her throat so they changed it but the change of the Myers house drives me nuts the house was not that big.
"he doesn't have a lot of energy" he was ran over, shot and fell into a dry well, he should be dead not a little exhausted "there are a lot of unanswered questions" yes like, where did that girl find the kitten... dr loomis scoobydooed michael...

Awesome reaction Rachel’s death was devastated, wasted, and uncalled for Jamie lost everyone she loves that were killed by Michael The men in black is dr wynn from the first movie Love you both so much Adam and Denise
The laundry shoot scene is one of the best sequences in this franchise it’s so tense/scary to see a child try to escape Michael in a small cramped space. Danielle Harris aka Jamie actually did get cut during that scene so that blood/cut on her leg was real it was completely by accident.
You’ve got to stop trying to make sense and complaining of these movies. Just enjoy the show! It’s super natural slashers. It’s not gonna make sense lmfao. Just enjoy the show!!!
I like how the house went from being a two bedroom house to a fully fledged mansion! They wanted to have Jamie be the killer in this one but the distributor was too scared to do that after the reception to part III.
Why did you guys skip Halloween 6? I see you saw H2O and resurrection..... But Halloween 6, although has a bad rep, is definitely much better in terms of maintaining the Halloween vibe and feel along with a better mask and a much more brutal grunge 90s Michael. It's my favorite after Halloween 1978. It's all about the mood in H6. Story might be whack but Michael is scary. You need to watch it
I'm just enjoying the comments of this is the best Halloween, or this is a top 3 Halloween film. This is hot SHIT. Nearly all crew members for the movie said the same thing. It was made in less then a year, because the rights owner was going to lose the rights by 1990, so he had to pump out another sequel quick, for his cash cow. He hired a director who has ONLY directed French comedy movies, so not only has he never done an American movie, he's only done comedies. Debra Hill the GF of John carpenter (the hands that pick up the knife in H78 in the kitchen drawer is her hands) who worked on the first three movies with Carpenter rec the director as a ploy to make the move shit, because her and carpenter wanted to see it all come to an end as they only intended one movie no sequels. The clown noises when those two cops showed up was his idea, they said they had a mask as good as the original, he chose the mask we see with the receding hairline. The Myers house was chosen by him even though it looks nothing like the OG house. He decided Myers should cry lol. The guy wouldn't listen to people who have experiences in horror movie making. Rachel is considered one of the best final girls, he decided to have her act stupid in this, and kill her off so soon. They had two set pieces which would have been awesome but those were cut because they not only ran out of money, but were scared to do one scene. I would explain it more, but this comment is long enough. Maybe another comment lol Also Jamie was supposed to be the killer in this, they actually killed off Myers in part 4. The right holder started worrying if a kid can carry the film without a Michael in it, got scared, and so they brung back Michael. These cowards just had Jamie with a psychic connection to her uncle. Myers can talk he chooses not to. Jamie actually couldn't talk for a bit from trauma/mental breakdown, etc.

Only made me love then an seek them out more 😂
This movie came out less than a year after part 4. They were literally acting while the script was still being written. It was super rushed because Part 4 was a financial success and the studio green lit part 5 immediately after.
People - actors did not want the sequel acting roles It was a low budget film So this means the actors risked not earning much money So don't become disappointed even Jamie Lee didn't reappear for 20 years!!!! So just enjoy the acting and not expect too much logic in those older versions
42:38 Dont if you've seen Rob Zombie's Halloweens...the actress that plays Jamie (Danielle Harris) plays Annie in Rob Zombie's Halloweens. Yeah this Halloween was one of the worst in the whole franchise...the twist at the end, the wrong Michael Myers home, the mask looked like a grandma face, Michael crying. ..Loomis being a crybaby! This movie was just bad even for a horror movie
The way loomis was after Michael was not confusing to me he has been after Michael and trying to kill him since rhe first Halloween film maybe it was more extreme when he put Jaime in front of him when Michael was walking towards them
This movie was in production nightmare. Writing scenes the day they were filmed. Killed Rachel just to be edgy. They didn’t even have a plan for the “Man in black” character. Literally just threw him in.
You don't recognize the eyes lmao did she actually say that? Buddy went along with it. Whew that is just the funniest thing I've heard. Btw if you're starting to hate on Dr. Loomis then stop watching the movie and never watch Halloween ever again
I lol'd when i saw Michael in the cell with his mask. The first half was fine, but then it went off the rails and i really dont like the sequel to this one. Halloween 4 should have been a stand alone sequel. But the next one "Curse of Michael Myers" happens to have a huge cult following but whatever tickles your pickle i guess. The dorky cop music was bad too... and this was the worst mask for me lol
One of the worst entries. Had a lot of promise, but was rushed. The script wasn’t fleshed out properly. Rachel’s death was a big mistake. Tina served no purpose at all. She took over for Rachel unnecessarily. And finally, how come the town seems to forget what happened just a year ago? We still do memorials decades after tragic events. They seem to brush off what happened prior.
5, Resurrection and Ends are the bottom of the barrel for the franchise to me. All horrible for different reasons. Ends is honestly still the worst to me because it was basically false advertising. You don't do that to your fans who have been around for 25+ years.
This is the worst movie in the franchise. H4 set this movie up so well, then they shit out this diarrhea mess of a movie. It's so bad it totally screwed over H6. I like H6 theatrical, it does have its issues, but it doesn't flat out piss me off like 5 does. As for H6, people say the Producer's cut makes more sense, but it also gets extremely weird. I like the theatrical, I follow it just fine, it's more straightforward, while Michael is arguably at his strongest and most brutal. Plus, the theatrical has the MOST satisfying kill in the franchise. But yeah, H5 is terrible. Worst mask, dumbest cops with their stupid circus music, killing Rachel and giving us mf Tina in return. They mute the best actor in the movie for most of it, Loomis totally loses it, and Michael Myers cries. I mean... wtAf? He has no emotion, tears are irrelevant. So much wrong with this one. Also, if you do watch Rob Zombie's, it's extreme in almost every aspect. Feels more like it could be a Jason Voorhees movies series.I don't even think of them as part of the franchise. They just feel so far removed from the originals.
This is the worst one for a couple reasons 1 director hated the franchise and it shows in the movie 2 Michael crys idc what the reason is that's unacceptable you never see jason cry 3 the myers house how dare yall try to tell us it's the myers house when it looks nothing like it 3 supposedly in Illinois but you can clearly see the Utah mountains in the background just poor planning 4 guy in black coat and boots is so dumb and makes no sense why add something so dumb to the story
You’re mad about someone showing emotions? How pathetic. You do realize anger is an emotion. Let go of that toxic masculinity or whatever nonsense y’all are on. Just a bunch of whiners and complainers in the the comments.
None of this is the reason why the film can be called bad. Michael is crying solely because of his mental connection to Jamie. When Jamie touched Michael, for a while she looked like him and hit her foster mother. Michael has taken over some part of humanity from her (which he does not have, there is an emptiness there). Each of them sometimes behaves like the other, they could both be in each other's thoughts, and both were not happy about it. That's why he circles like a crow around everyone Jamie is attached to, that's why he wants to destroy Jamie. And that's exactly what Loomis means when he says that "a girl can stop the rage that drives you if you let her." You would understand this if you were careful enough. What does Jason have to do with it? This is a flat one-dimensional slasher character created for the funny killing. And the director didn't hate the franchise. The franchise was hated by the people who created the cinematic abortion H20.
Y’all must not know but this is one if the worst movies in the series other than Resurrection. Just like how stupid resurrection is this movie is just as stupid because the director they had for this movie was off crack when he made this movie and had know knowledge of the original, second and 4th installment that’s why part 5 is all over the place smh
"Know knowledge"?? Yeah, you gotta watch out for those directors with 'know' knowledge!!!!...Just as I suspected....you're not saying anything...you're just repeating nonsense you heard from other simpletons....
@@tgriffin3059 😂😂😂😂 man even Donald Pleasant himself said this movie was BS and as great of an actor he is and being he was in the original from the jump Im definitely taking his word for it over yours lmao it’s common sense the director for H5 had know idea wth he was doing and had no knowledge of the series let alone no knowledge of H4 otherwise wouldn’t have been off crack killing off Rachel and having Michael remove his mask just to have a normal because last I checked H5 is cannon to H2 where Michael got shot both eyes if the if the Director had knowledge of the series, he wouldn’t have shown Michael’s face looking normal
@@JabrenHarris98 You're just making my case for me. You're repeating a bunch of things you've read or heard. Meanwhile, a person of substance, like myself, would point out that the original Halloween was basically 90 minutes of stalking...Michael stalking his prospective victims, and Loomis stalking HIM. In Halloween 5, they took the same approach. There is not another film, from 2 all the way through the recent trilogy, that so closely adheres to the approach taken by the classic original.

They will explain the man in black in part 6 so those questions will be answered
As Deadpool said....these timelines are so confusing
6:01
We saw his full face in part 1 and 2
It's a trilogy...Halloween 6 will tell you the rest ( try the Producers cut)
Hope you react to The Producers Cut of Halloween 6. It's the more coherent of the two versions. ❤
When you watch 6 watch the theatrical cut
The guy would be the second victim cause Michael already killed Rachael you saw Michael stab Rachel
The police were going to where Michael and Jaime are at of course
The picture was in the coffin.
There's two versions of the next one
Killing Rachel and leaving us with Tina for the entirety of the film was very irritating. This film is awful. Halloween 6 is much much better
It will be explained soon…
So Denise thinks Rachel can survive getting stabbed in the face cause l am sure Rachel got stabbed in the face
Floooop
One of the worst entries. Had a lot of promise, but was rushed. The script wasn’t fleshed out properly. Rachel’s death was a big mistake. Tina served no purpose at all. She took over for Rachel unnecessarily. And finally, how come the town seems to forget what happened just a year ago? We still do memorials decades after tragic events. They seem to brush off what happened prior.
Pls watch terrfier 3 im exited to see ur reaction 😂😂
Dr Loomis died of a heart attack at the end it was not funny
After Part 6, watch the RZ Halloween movies.
Rachel was obviously dead you seem to forgot that she got stabbed l saw that you saw that she got stabbed
I don't like this one much. Rachel should have lasted longer. The mask looks goofy. The Tina character is ok but a bit annoying. xx
There’s so much about this Halloween that I love and so much that I despise lol
Same
Yoi did not see tina dead you just her being taken away in an ambulance
5, Resurrection and Ends are the bottom of the barrel for the franchise to me. All horrible for different reasons. Ends is honestly still the worst to me because it was basically false advertising. You don't do that to your fans who have been around for 25+ years.
Plase Reaction 3 ninjas
Flop yourself 👎
Halloween5 went quickly into production after the success of halloween4
Halloween6 explains more about the thorn stuff.
This constant laughing is really annoying.
You might not wanna watch then. Some people can’t control their laughs. Plus it’s another form of reacting to the movie…
