I just did that exact thing recently. Red was wearing off amber fairy lamp. I just used Dawn power wash spray and a cloth.
We recently went to an exclusive Christmas shop. They had Jim Shore Disney characters. When i recognized them i felt so smart! Hahaha.

08:07 My grandmother had that bowl before my parents met in the 60s. By tradition it's the Christmas cookie bowl. My sister has it now, and 80-100 years after it was made it's still in use at Christmas.
Yes, my grandmother had a very similar one. I have it now & I still use it for baking. 😊
I have a similar bowl given to me by my aunt. I treasure it!
Yeah, I remember watching a Rajiv video, some of those bowls are really old, and sought after.

Those Bunnykins dishes have tested extremely high for lead and arsenic (and I’m sure other bad stuff). Anything pre 2011 is not safe for children to use. I thought you would want to know
Be careful with the yellow-ware bowls. I was watching Rajiv Surendra and depending on the era, it could have lead. He is an actor (mean girls) but a professional ceramist and artist. He’s very knowledgeable.

You can use 100% acetone nail polish remover to take the red flash off the fairy lamp.
The hanging Heart reminds me of Norwegian Rosemaling.

The sterling silver Pennanular pin/brooch is awesome - maybe for a kilt or a tartan? it is rare for it to have the dangles. I've only seen one other with dangles. Looks hand made.
I have used oven cleaner to remove the flash. You just spray it on and let it sit for 24 hours then take a toothbrush and get in between the points. Usually takes a couple sprays but it’s pretty easy process
Fun baggy! I found a Waterford ornament for a $1 last week and a Waterford Lismore champagne flute for a $1 a few weeks ago. Very excited as that is pattern of crystal I have. Only wish there was a matchy-match!

I won a plastic version of that Charlie Brown in a peanut hunt in the late 1950's. They must have been using a vintage mold to make those ceramics. Interesting!
The baggie was great! Everybody should check out the baggies but sometimes delicate items will break and that’s so sad..😢

Your goodwill stores are so organized and in great condition. Ours here in the Lafayette, Indiana area , are so dirty and everything they just throw on the shelves. It would be nice to shop in your goodwill areas.

I washed a little bud vase in a sink of Dawn and warm water and the flashing came right off.
if you wash the dish in hot soapy water the flash will slide righ off.
