Made this tonight. I used apple cider vinegar, almond flour, and used half the honey, and used sugar free bbq sauce. It was so delicious. My new favorite, and my hubby who does not like chicken, loved it.
Made this tonight substituted the honey for brown sugar bc of my 10 month old but the whole family enjoyed it. Props on the dish/recipe. It was delicious.
love the salt and pepper shakers... reminds me that mum had the exact same ones years ago... This looks so delicious... I will try it for lunch as already have a chicken breast out defrosting...
I just made it and have the first bite in my mouth. Absolutely divine. I did double the recipe for the sauce though and it was a smart move. I didn’t have any white vinegar so I used balsamic vinegar and I think it added yet another layer of flavor. Well done!
Add the honey after it’s cooked, honey is TOXIC when heated past a certain temperature. If you don’t believe me look it up! I used to love honey bbq chicken!

I absolutely love your recipes! I made this last night with fried rice and it was very good. Thanks and keep them coming! From Michigan in the United States 🇺🇸!
Looks delicious. I'll make this this week over rice. I'm going to season the flour with some DanO's. 4 Tbsp of honey...too much. Going to adjust to 2Tbsp honey, 2Tbsp Soy sauce and 1 Tbsp vinegar. Looking forward having it.
This is my second time making this - I'm making it for my Sister coming for a few days -It is tender and delicious, the sauce is amazing - I'm also having - Mac & Cheese - Green Beans with Carrots - Spinach Dip and Seafood Salad - and Peach Pie for desert. - Have to have some nighttime snacks, lol
Just made this with the addition of 1/2 c mosambi juice and red pepper flakes and brown sugar instead of honey. Served it over basmati....fantastic! Next time I'll double/triple the sauce as it makes a bowl of rice/veggies tasty.
This is a very tasty chicken recipe. The only thing missing (for me) is a little bit of red pepper flakes, just as one other reviewer mentioned. I cooked 2 breasts because I eat alone, so will make extra sauce to reheat & will definitely add the red pepper flakes. Serve with rice & it's a perfect meal. Thank you.
Yes, that is what I was thinking. Maybe a little red pepper, or perhaps gochuchang or chili crisp to add just a touch of heat to balance the sweetness of the honey.
I used your receipt except I used chicken drummets and added a little hot sauce to the mixture. In fact, it was so good, my family had me fix twice in thee same week. Thank you
I watch a lot of cooking videos and this by far is A-1 top of the list. No unnecessary chatter by a host trying to pimp the "like" or "subscribe" buttons. Straight to the point with excellent editing. Immediately pulled two chicken breasts from the freezer and will try this out tomorrow. 👍
Just made it with cheese broccoli and rice and it was YUMMY,I used seasoned bread crumbs and balsamic vinegar and my chicken breast were the smaller ones, very nice recipe, thanks for sharing
If I can make this anybody can. I am always hesitate to cook, but I love chicken. This was so different from my plain chicken. It was delicious, my new favorite chicken dish. Thank you
I come here looking to see if anyone had added red flakes and maybe a little Cayenne pepper. I’m going to try this recipe really soon on a bed of fried rice.
@@Tomc8030 Sub that black pepper in the sauce for white pepper, add like 2 dashes of garlic powder, and then a pinch or 2 of those red pepper flakes....its perfect
just a tip for ANY recipe that requires rolling in flour and then frying. If you place the floured (egg mixture too) in the refrigerator for about 10 minutes the coating will adhere to the meat better.
Hello, great video. Just watched and will make this dish in a couple of hours for dinner. Someone suggested to use a air fryer for the first part of cooking, what is your thoughts. I am sticking to your way of cooking this dish unless you think a air fryer will work as well. Thank you, keep up the great work.😊
I'm definitely trying out this recipe! 🔥 And for anyone looking for a home remedy for minor burns, Honey Lavender Magic is a must-have. It's been a lifesaver for me! 💜
I've seen this made on so many different channels what are you guys do get together and figure out how to cook the same thing but I do like the way you've done it
Thank you for your beautiful cooking video! The 3 parts of your video I love is: 1) beautiful shape of cut on the chicken breast 2) fry the chicken on medium heat until golden brown 3) Making of sweet sour sauce consisting of butter, garlic, soy sauce, vinegar and honey.
This looks yummy. I have a couple questions though. What kind of oil was used? (EVOO?) And what kind of white vinegar was used? (wine? rice?) The type of oil and vinegar can vary the flavor considerably depending on what kind is used. Please advise. :)
Quick question, do you thoroughly cook the chicken before you set it aside or just browning the outside? Sorry I don't cook much but I'm trying to learn lol

This is similar to a recipe I make for pork and fowl..I add half cup of orange juice and fourth cup tart plum jelly to the sauce ..its heavenly
This would definitely be good with boneless chops.
That sounds pretty damn good 😮
There are two ways of ruining that sauce.....
