Thank you for your service to my community. I have center vision difficulties and need something that can focus quickly. My job requires me to switch near and far as fast as possible. I use DVR and they will provide the gear if I know it’s what I need. Is there a place near Denver to try these?

Hi, these are no longer being produced unfortunately. Take a look at the IrisVision Live, IrisVision Inspire and Eyedaptic EYE5. If you are interested in trying any of those devices, you will need to contact the manufacturers and see if there is a rep in your area. The eSight GO should also soon be releasing and will be worth looking at.

Do these types of devices help people with multiple blind spots in their vision? Is there something that you can recommend trying that pulls all the usable vision mainly in the peripheral and limited central? Thanks so much!

This type of device could potentially help but you would need to try it. Generally they work best for people with central vision loss.

Great clear review. Thank you. We are looking for devices to help our elderly neighbour read and view his iPad. Would you say this device was suitable? We're UK based and pleased that it is a UK manufacturer.

Potentially this could help, but there are a number of great accessibility features built into the iPad that might be worth exploring first. You can check out this video on iPhone accessibility as it is the same on the iPad ua-cam.com/video/qBN_z1ahPYg/v-deo.html. This second video covers even more accessibility features ua-cam.com/video/99jYHzLOq6o/v-deo.html. If you need anything else let me know.

@@VisionForwardTechConnect Brilliant. Thank you. The magnification features on the iPad seem like they could really help him - and I don't think he is fully aware of them. He still likes to read physical books and newspapers. Are there any hand-held magnification devices that you might suggest? Thank you.

@@RossMaynardProcessExcellence I'd suggest that for books, handheld devices aren't ideal. If he wants a handheld, the Humanware Explore 5 ua-cam.com/video/OguivHYaC68/v-deo.html or Explore 8 ua-cam.com/video/88XiVn2M_PQ/v-deo.html are good quality and available in England. They also have a 12 inch version that may be more suitable for books as it has a stand. Otherwise, you would want to look at a larger electronic magnifier, for example the Topaz ua-cam.com/video/UK1CaIqNvFY/v-deo.html. OCR is also an option, which you can get built into electronic magnification devices, or in a separate device such as the Orcam ua-cam.com/video/wp5MC18qji0/v-deo.html

Thank you for this review! It looks like device that can help be more mobile. Why the device isn't salling on your online store? Is it just a concept or real product? I wan't to buy it but I don't know how. I sent requests on your email and official manufacturer email but didn't get anything back.

Hi, thanks for pointing out that this isn't on our online store. It should be! We can get it added, but in the meantime you can contact our store at 414-615-0111 or store@vision-forward.org.

Would these be what you recommend for someone with RP? I am in the market for an upgrade to my old esight glasses and they are just too big and bulky. I’m torn on iris oxsight esight4 etc. recommendations?
