I think it would help if he got lines with yellow Tape on the Floor, and if he wants he could get some stops for the Wheels, then he would not need 2 to 3 people to Park the Car. Also a bigger Building for Cars would help 😁
Hand a tennis ball from the ceiling, set up so once it hits the windscreen he is in.
For a car guy I think this should have been considered in the build of the house. Parking in your garage should be done without any headache.
That's what I was thinking - car guy would have at least a double garage!!!

That's still annoying though. Just move the shutter on the outside and put the lights on the other side of the shutter so you can still get some light when it opens and closes.
An angled mirror on the wall would let you see the gap you have left at the front
An RSQ8 would be an easy fit I reckon 😜
Yianni, when you got the vehicle in the right position, put a tennis ball on a string for the front windscreen and put white(coloured) tape in a line next to the tyres as a guide on what angle you come in on each time and lastly hire Daniel from Ashville to be your parking butler so he can tell you how room you have to move

Yeah but wheres the foam gonna touch the could be the bumper but the splitter goes out further if u put it near the splitter too puch pressure it could crack
All you need is a turntable floor, park it straight and let the floor rotate it for you!
can’t, garage isn’t big enough for a turntable, it would need to be minimum diameter of the wheelbase of the car, and the garage isn’t wide enough to maintain the radius

Thats not at all how the space is, forget the geomtery of the car, its at an angle not turned from a pivot
Love the video and the attempts, but can't imagine doing that every day just to park my car. Should be the easiest thing I do when I get home, not the hardest. Makes pulling out awkward as well. Just bite the bullet and move the door to the outside.

You have an overhang out front of your Garage. Daniel can make it so that it looks original and you'll have room to spare. It's literally a 1 foot addition which if done right can look Amazing. I know Daniel can do it. #ShoutOutAshville
Yanni use a tennis ball hanging from the roof the determine how far in you need to go, also set out tape lines either side of the car so you can see if your going in at the right angle 👍
At this point I’d just extend the garage lol, doing this on a daily will become so tedious
Install a second shutter on the outside - more room, plus double protection for when you get your supercar!

odd suggestion but have a little TV screen on the wall to the right of the cabinets. have a camera side on and then you can watch how close you get to the wall, A virtual Gus haha

You should get a traffic light sensor system, green when you’re safe, Amber to take care and red to stop in place
The one thing l used in my garage to stop me from goin to far forward was a piece of wood.
Drive in slowly n wait till your wheels come up against the wood n stop made my life easier.
Only thing you have to make sure of is that no one kicks the wood out of position, unless of course you fix it to the floor (l never did)
But good to check every now n then

Guess it fits if you really need to park it inside, but daily.. that's wear on the steering column.. tyres rubbing at low speeds.. wear on the gearbox to keep disengaging.. wear on brake pad/disc.. and just tiring and stressful altogether.. lol.. but yes agreed.. it can definitely fit

I recon that reverse parking at an angle would probably be the easiest way to get the car in cause you can get the back in then swing the front round more to try and get the car as diagonal as possible as with pulling in forward the back wheels follow the from wheels tighter and you lose some of the angle. It is possible that the reverse park could run into the issues with the box again, from the video it looks like there would be enough room in the corner but cant say for certain
Yianni...my old garage was very tight, but for insurance the car had to be garaged...This is a solid tip from the wife...Exercise mats...the 2-3" foam filled ones. attach them to the walls, back and sides, therefor you can nudge them without fear of damage to the front or rear of the car, and the side ones protect the doors...

If that box wasnt there at the back cud have a ramp on a incline to drive up I reckon that'd work
Whoever said the tennis ball idea touching the windscreen is a great Idea, but as Yianni said, it's sorting the angles out etc..
At least the car fits though, the only worry you've got to think about with it being so close, is that when it's windy and the wind hits the shutter, it's going to flex slightly (if not at first, over time it will), so it could "tap" the car enough to continue setting off your car alarm/s, just something to be cautious of for the future (also, don't scratch the bonnet getting out the garage side door! 😂)
Why not put some mirrors on the wall so you can see down to the front end?
You could put down some marking like they have for F1 pit stops

if you put marks on the floor like in public parking you will be able to see it on your 360 camera view and you can park way more accurately. I have similar problems with my S5

The architect or the person designing your house really cocked up with the garage. There should've been allowance for an SUV, espcially if its the clients car, its a design parameter that needed to be included in your overall build, but props for getting it in!
The major problem is who wants to park like a surgeon on an operating table! Just to fit their car in the garage

i think if you drove in straight down the left side hugging the left wall then doing a hard right turn about half way in towards the right hand corner it would give you more room or just create recessed box between the wall studs in the back wall for the nose of the car to go into

No replicate that 365 days a year!! You now need to put like a ball or something over the car to make sure you align

Get a massive tv on the end wall and a camera pointing downwards so when you come to park you can watch the tv to see how close you are at the front 😆👍🏻

Yianni, here's another idea, more expensive but simpler. Extend your garage so it will fit in lengthways, and everyone can get in the car through that side access door. Simples, but not cheap, but you can afford it, surely.
It would be way easier if you reverse in the garage and half way in turn the wheels left to get the best angle

Hi Yianni, just a thought but i`m sure you cold have the shutter fitted on the outside of the garage but hide the shutter box at the top behind the soffit and fascia boards, should be quite an easy mod to do with minimal fuss, then it would be concealed similar to the binds in the house,

In the past I occasionally watched the vids but tway was something you can really watch for your pleasure especially with the new way that you got to see the entire week but still the Tuesdays were good
I think that Yiannimize has to focus more on the wrapping then other stuff bcs that is what the people love I think 🤔
put a small round floor lift what lifts the car and turns it at angle? to make it easier would that help? so drive in straight then press a button that lifts the car and turns it at a angle?
Please just put the door on the outside. That was stressfull to watch. 1 bad day parking and there could be tears and regrets.

It’s easy to say after, but very surprised this design fail occurred. I wonder what the spec was, I would’ve assumed they would’ve used a rangey and a bench Mark. As long as it fits a rangey comfortably, everything else should fit fine.
Or he mentioned it was a for s super car, so should’ve made it a detail 6/7m long.
He has specced it around a upcoming supercar and not the urus. Yianni just hoped the urus would of fit properly in the mean time but doesn't for practicality.

I’m sure someone already had this idea and pardon me for my bad english, but cant you bring the door mechanism outside of the brick wall and not inside, and you will gain a lot of space and clearance for the bumper

Way to go 👌. It fits. A suggestion. Try pulling closer to the left and turn so have room at your door. Just a suggestion!
You could put it in at an angle and use wheel skates to shunt the back end over so you don’t need to get so close to the front.

I agree the passenger side more room needs to get closer to the left and front wall before turning right then he has another 10 inches for sure
Yianni, all you need now is those squeaky rubber chickens that make noise when squeezed. Put them on the wall and when you drive into them, then you're parked 😂

Get rid of the roller door and install old fashioned double doors with the hinges on the sides. PS I have never seen a radiator in a garage before.
Well the best way to park without someone assisting, mount a camera or 3, that you can connect to a tv on the wall, or use with your phone to get that perfect park, oh and use colored gaffers to mark out parking lines. Gaffers tape should stick to the floor, with minimal to no tape residue at all if you remove it.
Just swap the Urus for a Ford Ka.

Flip the angle the other way and you could still use the door 🤔 could also put chocks down on the floor so when the wheel rolls to it you know you are in
I park at an angle every single day, since they stole my CAT, been at it for over a year. You get used to it eventually, like muscle memory! Gotta do what you gotta do, keep hustling!
