Instantly subscribed! I've never seen a concise tutorial with such a clear, closeup view of the brushstrokes in realtime. This is super helpful for someone starting out in the hobby!
Great job¡¡¡
Since 2019 the quality of the W&N series 7 has dropped a lot, within 2 minutes of starting to paint with them they lose the tip, and as you can see in the video, the tip is the most important thing to paint small miniatures of warhammer or similar. Some people attribute this to an alleged transfer of production from the UK to China but there is no clear information on the internet about it and the company does not comment on the matter. The only clear thing is that they are no longer worth for painting miniatures.
Me alegra mucho saber que estos videos que hago te ayudase a a ver las cosas de manera diferente. Que en pintura no hay un solo camino ni verdades absolutas! Gracias por comentar.
Excellent video! I have used Winsor & Newton for years and you’re right, they don’t hold a point very long. I get maybe 3-5 months out of it. What brand of high end brush do you recommend?
great vid, subscribed. May I ask, why no Windsor and Newton brushes? Actually, I have bought one in the past and it came with a bad tip despite being really expensive, so it's not like I am rooting for the brand, Just curious about the suggestion
For two years W&N Brushes I bought didn't keep the tip of the brush for so long. People say they are producing in China now, but I don't know if it's true.
Awesome video! Will try this out with my Vellas von faine :D, never tried NMM before so this will be scary haha (though I don't have the exact colors you used) , May I ask what type of brushes you recommend?
I use Brokentoad brushes number 0 and 000, they have an excellent tip and for painting small warhammer miniatures they are the best, another slightly cheaper alternative is the silver and gold series from Greenstuffworld. Do not worry about the colors, use something similar, they are gray for the sword or brown in the case of gold.
I instantly subscribed. This is my favourite version of her

Wonderful video. Thank you very much for showing brush strokes in real time.

Great video. But why avoid W&N brushes?

Buen trabajo, suelo castigarme por no tener transiciones perfectas "por qué es lo que he aprendido". Tu trabajo me abrió los ojos a otras técnicas.
