What a powerful teaching. Thank you Rabbi! It was especially enlightening to hear the breakdown of the spiritual Esau and Ishmael. I am praying for everyone in Israel to be protected and for those who have been captured to be returned home safely. I was in Israel last year to celebrate Sukkot, but I was not able to make the trip this year. I don't think I have ever seen you come up on UA-cam before, so I believe Hashem led me to listen to your teaching today. Hashem bless you and keep you.

Rabbi Breitowitz is a very kind and gentle soul. He’s also quite brilliant. A “Frum Renaissance Mench.” We were roommates in Ner Israel and best friends for decades. I relate many experiences with him in my non-fiction magnum opus titled: I Meant To Divorce My Wife Not My Daughter. (Amazon or Barnes & Nobel). You’ve never read a book like this one. Thank you my dear friend for your lovely lecture.

Brilliant, listen to the end to see how to help to change the situation for the positive. Rabbi Breitowitz says we're alllowed to disagree, but not demonize Jews on other sides with other opinions. It's so clear how insignificant are our differences. Make peace within our own people- Ahavat Yisrael- love other Jews. Hakarat HaTov, appreciate the contributions of others. Well said!

*These words are not mine.* These are the words the Ruach HaKodesh (YAHUAH's Set-Apart Spirit) uttered through me when I prayed to YAHUAH; asking him what *he wants* me to say, knowing the truth. To the chosen:
"Know that YAHUAH is the name of the Most High and YAHUsha is the name of The Son.
Come out of her, my people, who have fallen to the deceit of Constantine. Who know not my name and say they love me. I have made myself known. I have heard you and I am here.
There are many who are yours to be saved. I am he who knows all that you are. Come to me, here are they who are mine. Make haste to come, here are we. Give in to them who speak of me, they are yours. I am here for you. Know that all is for them, here are we.
Give not to them that are against me. I am he who sees all you do. Come to me out of her, all are here for me. Do what I say. Out of her, come. All are here."
      Exodus 3:13-15 KJV
13 And Moses said unto God, Behold, when I come unto the children of Israel, and shall say unto them, The God of your fathers hath sent me unto you; and they shall say to me, What is his name? what shall I say unto them?
14 And God said unto Moses, I Am That I Am: and he said, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I Am hath sent me unto you.
15 And God said moreover unto Moses, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, the Lord God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, hath sent me unto you: this is my name for ever, and this is my memorial unto all generations.
      John 5:43 KJV
43 *I am come in my Father's name,* and ye receive me not: *if another shall come in his own name, him ye will receive.*
      2 Corinthians 6:17 KJV
17 Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and *touch not the unclean thing;* *and I will receive you.*
      Isaiah 52:6-7 KJV
6 Therefore my people shall know my name: therefore they shall know in that day that I am he that doth speak: behold, it is I.
7 How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him that bringeth good tidings, that publisheth peace; that bringeth good tidings of good, that publisheth salvation; that saith unto Zion, Thy God reigneth!
      2 Corinthians 6:1-2 KJV
1 We then, as workers together with him, beseech you also that ye receive not the grace of God in vain.
2 (For he saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have I succoured thee: behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.)
      Romans 10:1-3 KJV
1 Brethren, my heart's desire and prayer to God for Israel is, that they might be saved.
2 For I bear them record that they have a zeal of God, but not according to knowledge.
3 For they being ignorant of God's righteousness, and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God.
      Romans 10:13-17 KJV
13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
14 *How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?*
15 *And how shall they preach, except they be sent?* as it is written, *How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!*
16 But they have not all obeyed the gospel. *For Esaias saith,* Lord, *who hath believed our report?*
17 *So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.*
      Nahum 1:7 KJV
7 The Lord is good, a strong hold in the day of trouble; and *he knoweth them that trust in him.*
      Hebrews 3:15 KJV
15 *While it is said, To day if ye will hear his voice, harden not your hearts, as in the provocation.*
      Isaiah 52:11 KJV
11 *Depart ye, depart ye, go ye out from thence, touch no unclean thing;* go ye out of the midst of her; be ye clean, that bear the vessels of the Lord.
      John 14:15 KJV
15 *If ye love me, keep my commandments.*

I knew that would be the response of a Jew when I saw it and read it. I'm sorry when people who call themselves Christian get overzealous and jump in a video and write Scripture from the NT when you will reject it.
However, Christians DO NOT worship an Idol. We are not to make or have any graven images or make one of God. We do follow the 10 commandments as best we can. No one can fulfill the law perfectly except Yeshua. Sometimes I wish I could sit with a Jewish person and tell them about Jesus. You know how this Rabbi is so sweet and soft-spoken. He's loving and wise well Jesus is all that and more. The NT isn't a new religion. Christianity just completes Judaism. Jesus was a Jew. He was raised in a Jewish Home and went to all the feasts. He worshipped God in the temple and cleared the Temple when the money changers turned the temple into a kind of flea market selling lambs and doves and changing Roman money to Jewish money. Yeshua whose name is so beautiful means Salvation. He was a Rabbi and He had disciples and He did miracles. I can't wait to see Him. I've already met Him on the day of my salvation. But to be in His presence would be perfect joy and peace. He is MESSIAH. And He IS coming back soon like the Rabbi was saying. What you Jews call His first coming to set up His kingdom is actually His 2nd coming to destroy all the nations that will surround Jerusalem to destroy her and all the Jews. He's coming as THE WARRIOR KING with a White robe and fiery eyes and on His thigh is written King of Kings and Lord of lords. He's going to Israel 🇮🇱 not to any other nation. He's coming to His own people. He stands on the Mt Of Olives and splits the mountain from North to South. He will also split it East to West to make a way to escape for the Jews. Your Rabbi is right that we are living in Messianic times, very prophetic times. He's right that we are seeing the birth pains of the Gog of Magog War and the Gog of Magog War. I was going to compliment your Rabbi and tell him I have prayed for him. He touched my heart and I found him to be a gentle kind soul. Listen, the Gog war is coming. All Christians know and are watching Israel. The Scriptures clearly tell us who the nations are that are going to invade Israel and how and what God will do. I believe God let Israel have a warning to get Jews back home. He wants you all united as you are now. You need each other for what's about to come. God told us everything He wants us to know and we need to know. You also might want to rethink rejecting Christians bc we love you and pray for you. Jesus loves you and for me, I love what He loves and hate what He hates. He's so amazing and so is the presence of The Holy Spirit!! You can't contain your joy when you're in worship and prayer. Even now to think of Him, He brings me joy. Please don't call us idol worshipers. That's offensive. I DO NOT WORSHIP AN IDOL and I'm not a Catholic with a Catholic god committing blasphemy.
You're gonna have to do a lot of what the Rabbibwas talking about or you'll remain with the same spirit of Esau and Ishmael.
May God bless you and Yeshua reveal Himself to you.

Oh thank you God thank you for sending this explanation through the presence of Rabbi Yitzchak Breitowitz. Thank you Rabbi this is the very best and most convincing explanation that I always contemplated but could never penetrate the deeper meaning of Aesop and Ismael, its most excellent and rang like a bell, which happens when TRUTH stands up. Amazing deep beautiful understanding.
I offer my condolences also for all who have lost their lives in Israel and their families, may God give them comfort and support, and may they and their families, their soldiers and Jews world wide stay strong and resolute. I also wonder what do you think of Gaelic cultures, I wonder is Gael GAAL, Gallilee, Galicia, PortuGal, ...just wondering, I believe that we share so much interesting similarities, like stone altars, pile of stones like in time of Moses, I have a lot of theories about this.....anyhow I always felt Deut 4 resonated deeply with me, that I felt that awakening of the one True God, His voice.....thousands of years later, scattered, forgetting the faith of our forebears, praying to Gods of wood and stone, then His voice would awaken us.......thanks to Him for the people He sent to create youtube and allow this beauty to exist......I believe Rabbi, what you said makes sense, its as good a theory I have heard......Viva Israel, Viva Jewish people, Viva Jerusalem

Makes sense and very profound even from my basic understanding level of something very complex… when you put 2 negative’s together than it becomes a positive mathematically speaking. Perhaps that’s what rabbi Nachman meant by clapping his hands symbolizing a Unity of the left and right hands and than they produce a sound energy wave, but by themselves they create a negative void that creates suffering instead of blessing. By unifying the Esav and Ishmael inside of us to serve a higher purpose, than the bad cancels out the bad and organizes and harmonizes everything around us.

As someone who is born and raised in the USA I am so grieved by 1- the attitude of the US in general toward Israel and also sickened that our tax dollars have gone to supply this atrocity. It sickens me to all ends that any dollar my family would have contributed to this evil even though I have not personally contributed and had no choice. I feel responsible in some ways

It is a Noun- it means salvation.
Even with the correct spelling it still would not be that..
That is a different word in Hebrew .
I won't even bother telling it to you, because it just goes to show how missionaries don't even truly know the Hebrew sources that they use to sway other people.

I am a born again follower of Jesus and love his teachings but I also like to listen to you Rabbis because God chose Israel and taught them eveything we all should know to live according to God. Two of the sayings of Jesus is to "turn the other cheek" and to "love your enemy". I wonder how it would have turned out after Oct 7 if Israel had put these 2 sayings into practice? The world would have seen a true people of God, which is what you were chosen by God to be, a prayerful people, not a warring and hateful one. God would have been happy and brought all the hostages back and caused the islamic attacks to cease.

Thank you. I enjoyed your presentation. I need scholarly help and do not know where to start. I wish to know the common Pharisaical understanding of Abraham's being accounted righteous, was it by his faith alone or was it conditional on his subsequent obedience such as his test in Genesis 22? I am thinking of first century before destruction of the second Temple.

go to someone you have harmed and ask forgiveness. now is the time to mend fences. if someone comes to you in good faith asking for the same, forgive them. forgive them in your hearts now. be strong, rid yourself of the evil within. then, do what must be done.
