We don't just read the Written Torah on its own and develop new halakhic understandings. You need the Oral Torah. You smell ex-Xtian. That smell can be dissipated through Kosher Learning.

The difference between judaism and Islam is:
Torah: Moses: Let my people go!
Quran: Moses: Let my people go, and you (Pharoah) should also worship the God of Abraham.
Judaism = Jews are the center of the universe
Islam: God is the center of the universe.
Big difference.
