Not sure about the steering wheel cover; doesn’t look great if I’m honest. I’d far rather cough up the extra and get a proper retrim from Royal who’s work is amazing and can be tailored to your exact requirements.
I've done this to my golf and it came out much better, it's because they haven't pulled the thread through each hole hard enough which causes that slack and the creases. But I agree it doesn't look to great they way they've done it
Top vid as always The shiny original leather, that will be dirt, should be a nice Matt like finish, sometimes a good proper leather cleaner and boom back like new 👌🏻

Tbh thats nasty, the "shinyness" is actually sweat and dirt from your 'oily'hands and your steering wheel becomes generally dirty after a while(and possible getting bad grip), might wanna clean it with some all purpose cleaner. But I shouldnt mind, you like it "shiny" keep it as you like. ;)

the thread has not been processed correctly. For an OEM look you should use every second loop. (You can change it at any time, shouldn't be a problem) Still great video, thanks for the information

The shiney leather, cleans up nicely with magic sponge, back to matt, the shine is all the oils from your hands
