Hello sa akin mo nag interview ako last Feb 24 2021 and the consul did not return my passport dba pg 22ig hindi nila kukunin ung passport mo, so I'm hoping na approved ako but nang chineck ko ceac ung status ko nka lagay refused hindi ko alam kng bakit at hindi nmn sila nag email sa akin.

Ung mag nagshare dn dito kc kate registered dn xa, dinala nya ung mga old ids nya, tsaka ung local birth certificate nya, ant baptismal certificate. Ang kinuha lng daw is yung local na birth certificate, late registered dn akon kaya dami kung talang back up, mas maganda talaga na mag research ka

I had an Interview Visa K1 I answered all the questions and I have all the documents, but in the end the officer gave me a piece of paper written on it (your visa is refused under 221g and your case will be returned to uscis

Thank you for sharing ur 221G experience..same case tayo about sa nbi eror peru wala nman ako problem sa birth ko yun lang nbi ko..na submit kuna nman yung nbi updated ko same date sa natanggap ko yung 221g kasi same day din ko kasi pina process yung nbi updated ko pinadala ko kaagad sa 2Go same daw peru kinabukasan pa 1-2 daw yun ma received ng us embassy. mag 2weeks na ngayon waiting pa rin ako. seen nakita ko video mo nag hohope pa ako na 2-3weeks ma received kuna Visa ko hindi pala ganun baka same din sayo kasi magkapareho lang din nman tayo ng case ,,aabut pa pala ng 1 month huhu. Hi I got 221g white slip under k1 visa. But there is nothing mention like to submit additional documents or anything like. It is write as follows: You case is under administrative processing, we will contact you when the administrative processing will be completed. When you contacted present this letter ( 221g white slip) and your passport to the documents drop-off location near you( nearest location has been given in uswebsite. Thank you for sharing your experience. I am in a limbo right now. The consular officer said to me that she will recommend my visa for approval. I did not receive any 221g letter. First time I checked my visa status online, it stated Issued. Yesterday I checked again it, changed to Ready. That is 2days after my first status check. So today I made an inquiry from the US embassy call center why there has been a change. The agent said that I have nothing to worry about because the embassy just reviewed my case and they have returned my status to issued. When I checked again the status online, it now says refused. I was shocked. I called again the call center and this time the agent - who is different from the 1st one I spoken with, confirmed that my visa application is refused and needs to undergo administrative processing. He advised that I have to wait for an email notification from the embassy for further instructions. I am shocked and saddened by the turn of events. But as you have said, I don't have to stress myself too much, stay positive and keep the faith. Thank you for sharing your experience.
Pinadalhan ako ng 221g letter via 2go express with my returned passport. Kasabay din yun ng visa ng anak ko. Kulang daw ako ng nbi. So I immediately sent it and after 3weeks na receive ko na yung visa ko. 😀

My husband and i did our interview on 29th of august.His names read the same except for the ds260 so the consulate officer gave us a 221g form written*update your name on the ds260* ...its been almost two weeks but no information yet.But the ceac reads last updated 8th sept,any hopes?

Had my interview last jan 17. Could not provide qatar pc due to company’s strict policy of giving noc. Need po sa amin under ministry. Then kind of expected ko na mabbigyan ako ng 221g form and my passport will be given back. To my surprise it was not rather he kept it and told me all is okay but he could not see my medical result. Not sure kong 221g ba tlga or hndi. What do u think maam? Have not received any email from them till now…

Hindi ka ba binigyan ng 221g letter? If sinabi niyang upload sa CEAC then just upload it. Yan Lang po gagawin niyo. But if you have a 221g letter from them, read it instructions are there po. :)
Thanks po sa reply,actually po binigyan ako ng blue form stating there type of visa,date of my interview,my name and case number handwritten ng officer na naginterview sakin tapos po may nakalagay na sa baba yung mga checklist na dapat kong ibigay which is nilagyan nya ng mark X yung box na dapat kong isubmit na documents kasama ang passport Naiupload ko na din po sa CEAC kagabi yung police certificate na hinihingi,so ang question ko po sis is isend ko na po ba ang documents(221g letter,original passport and police clearance certificate uae) na ito thru courier back sa US Embassy abudhabi or better magemail muna ako sa kanila.
Hello, my visa interview was this week they gave me white slip(221g) saying there are some general questions you have to answer and to mail the form to them and that’s the final step of getting the visa but they also gave me back my passport and they also didn’t ask any extra documents the form that they mailed. So will I get the us visa ? How long will it take them to reply ? When will they ask me for my passport ? My school has already booked flight to us by November 3rd will I get it before that ? And yeah the visa type was B2 and the form name was DS-5535 And yeah my US visa was rejected 5 years back is it possible that they are asking because of that ?
Well, first of all. You should’ve not book any flights yet. And you have to read the instructions on how are you gonna mail your passport coz it’s supposed to be written on the 221g paper.

Ma'am, I need help from you. I am an F1 visa holder and my visa has been stuck since 24 August 2022. On 24 August I was interviewed and after finishing the interview visa officer gave me a 221g white slip where he marked Update i-20 to mail them and give my passport back but wrote down to pay vfs when I would mail them. I am from Bangladesh. My program started on 23 August but unfortunately, I got my appointment date on 24 August then I gave my interview. So, it's been 5 months there is no update on my ceac status. Just seem it 'refused' with the administration processing related something. And Eventually, the main problem is My previous university I mean which university I belong to, but right now they are not accepting my deferral request. I think it's the main issue for did not complete my case. But I paid my service fee. Write now what should I do? Will I get my visa or will I be denied? It's kind of frustrating going on ma'am?

Genuine question may kilala na ba kayo na na-211g pero na denied talaga? Mostly naman ata ng kilala kong na-221g is naapproved at long as nagpass ng requirements na kulang.
Hello , I had my interview today ! Then yes i also received 221g letter on the same day of my interview, about NBI error, the officer took all my papers including my NBI except my passport , I ask them if I have to do anything, the officer said they will process for me .

Hi , I applied for the J1 Trainee and went for interview but my sevis was not updated and they gave me 221G and asked me to bring Sevis Receipt and Schedule an appointment but where can i schedule for 221 G ?
The consular officer said to me that everything was fine and kept my passport saying that they had to put me in administrative procedures, what does this mean? IR1, Egypt and he gave me the paper which he marking in administrative processing only !!
So they gave you an empty administrative processing paper with no marks in it and kept your passport with them ? If yes then you are almost approved they just need to run a background check on you and make sure everything you mentioned in the interview was accurate. If yes they will contact you to pick up your passport with the visa stamped on it once they finish . Time is not accurate thoe this can take from weeks to months depending on many factors

I had my interview at the US embassy in Kinshasa The 23Fevriar 2022 F2A visa we were 4 children and everything went well among us 1 received the visa because he had two co-sponsors and 1 sponsor and we 3 others the officer consular to request that we resubmit the I-864 and IRS 2021 to finalize the procedure for obtaining our visa! fortunately we submitted it the same day after the interview at Ceac. my question is this how long we have to wait to finalize and take the Visa?
It’s actually depends. Coz the time you submitted your application you are still in line, they won’t see it right away. I’d waited 1month before I received my visa.

221g category is good for one year only, if you have not received any message from the embassy most likely your case is closed, send them an email or try calling the embassy.
I know it's not related but i want to ask about NBI clearance for married women. I went to NBI linagay nila yung maiden name ko tapos sa side lang yung family name ng husband ko. Di ba ako ma 221g neto? Na basa ko rin sa site na need ng AKA. Napaka confusing po. Help po!

1 month sis. Yes, kahit ipadala mo agad2, di yan nila makikita agad on the same day kasi naka pila pa yang papers mo. But, you can check your status online.

You case is under administrative processing, we will contact you when the administrative processing will be completed. When you contacted present this letter ( 221g white slip) and your passport to the documents drop-off location near you( nearest location has been given in uswebsite. Thats all was wriiten in that white slip. I dont know what to do.. I'm very dipress and sad. Please help me with this, what to do next and what to expect? 🙏;

Thank you for sharing your experience. I am in a limbo right now. The consular officer said to me that she will recommend my visa for approval. I did not receive any 221g letter. First time I checked my visa status online, it stated Issued. Yesterday I checked again it, changed to Ready. That is 2days after my first status check. So today I made an inquiry from the US embassy call center why there has been a change. The agent said that I have nothing to worry about because the embassy just reviewed my case and they have returned my status to issued. When I checked again the status online, it now says refused. I was shocked. I called again the call center and this time the agent - who is different from the 1st one I spoken with, confirmed that my visa application is refused and needs to undergo administrative processing. He advised that I have to wait for an email notification from the embassy for further instructions. I am shocked and saddened by the turn of events. But as you have said, I don't have to stress myself too much, stay positive and keep the faith. Thank you for sharing your experience.

Had my interview last jan 17. Could not provide qatar pc due to company’s strict policy of giving noc. Need po sa amin under ministry. Then kind of expected ko na mabbigyan ako ng 221g form and my passport will be given back. To my surprise it was not rather he kept it and told me all is okay but he could not see my medical result. Hindi ka ba binigyan ng 221g letter? If sinabi niyang upload sa CEAC then just upload it. Yan Lang po gagawin niyo. But if you have a 221g letter from them, read it instructions are there po. :)

Hello, my visa interview was this week they gave me white slip(221g) saying there are some general questions you have to answer and to mail the form to them and that’s the final step of getting the visa but they also gave me back my passport and they also didn’t ask any extra documents the form that they mailed.

Well, first of all. You should’ve not book any flights yet. And you have to read the instructions on how are you gonna mail your passport coz it’s supposed to be written on the 221g paper.

Ma'am, I need help from you. I am an F1 visa holder and my visa has been stuck since 24 August 2022. On 24 August I was interviewed and after finishing the interview visa officer gave me a 221g white slip where he marked Update i-20 to mail them and give my passport back but wrote down to pay vfs when I would mail them. I am from Bangladesh. My program started on 23 August but unfortunately, I got my appointment date on 24 August then I gave my interview. So, it's been 5 months there is no update on my ceac status. Just seem it 'refused' with the administration processing related something. And Eventually, the main problem is My previous university I mean which university I belong to, but right now they are not accepting my deferral request. I think it's the main issue for did not complete my case. But I paid my service fee. Write now what should I do? Will I get my visa or will I be denied? It's kind of frustrating going on ma'am?

Hello , I had my interview today ! Then yes i also received 221g letter on the same day of my interview, about NBI error, the officer took all my papers including my NBI except my passport , I ask them if I have to do anything, the officer said they will process for me .

Maybe, just follow their instructions. If they want you to send your passport then go ahead po. They won't asked your passport if your visa is denied

Hi , I applied for the J1 Trainee and went for interview but my sevis was not updated and they gave me 221G and asked me to bring Sevis Receipt and Schedule an appointment but where can i schedule for 221 G ?
The consular officer said to me that everything was fine and kept my passport saying that they had to put me in administrative procedures, what does this mean? IR1, Egypt and he gave me the paper which he marking in administrative processing only !!
So they gave you an empty administrative processing paper with no marks in it and kept your passport with them ? If yes then you are almost approved they just need to run a background check on you and make sure everything you mentioned in the interview was accurate. If yes they will contact you to pick up your passport with the visa stamped on it once they finish . Time is not accurate thoe this can take from weeks to months depending on many factors

221g is from the consulate officer, and 221g form is a letter from the consulate with regards to your case, it's not an "application form"

I had my interview at the US embassy in Kinshasa The 23Fevriar 2022 F2A visa we were 4 children and everything went well among us 1 received the visa because he had two co-sponsors and 1 sponsor and we 3 others the officer consular to request that we resubmit the I-864 and IRS 2021 to finalize the procedure for obtaining our visa! fortunately we submitted it the same day after the interview at Ceac. my question is this how long we have to wait to finalize and take the Visa?
It’s actually depends. Coz the time you submitted your application you are still in line, they won’t see it right away. I’d waited 1month before I received my visa.

221g category is good for one year only, if you have not received any message from the embassy most likely your case is closed, send them an email or try calling the embassy.

No po. That's correct. Sa left side would be, your FAMILY NAME, FIRST NAME, MAIDEN NAME. And sa right side would be your HUSBAND'S LAST NAME.
