Kobe Bryant was only 21. Yet some of his most brightest moments came in these 2000 playoffs. But before game 7 vs Portland and game 4 vs the Pacers in the finals, one of Kobe most famous moments happened in the semi-finals vs Phoenix.
Story: Playing limited minutes due to foul troubles, Kobe lost the ball on a crucial play that lead to Phoenix tie breaking basket with 46 seconds to go. A confidence shaker for this young player? Not quite so. Kobe responded by making a free throw to get within one, and then, get the ball with 19 seconds remaining, while facing Jason Kidd, took his time and drilled the game winner with 2.6 left. I honestly think Kobe was better than lebron at his age he had more defensive skills and more all around game if Shaq was not on the team Kobe would have increase his point total and the lakers would still be a championship team

That isn't to denigrate Jordan at all. It's just that LeBron did so much at such a young age.

yea i agree, lebron DID improve on shots, but hes not CONSISTENT...if he was, hell yea, MAYBE hell be better then Kobe, because there still is another factor, DEFENSE. So if Lebron gets consistent in shots, then he has to play good defense to compare with Kobe

I agree, Phoenix that year was really good and Cliff Robinson and Jason Kidd were excellent players. Penny at 100% would have made a difference.
