All my friends who bought OLA are struggling now. OLA is not a moto company; they just produce half-baked products and make money. Don't buy from OLA. Get E-bike from proper motor vehicle companies like TVS, Hero, Honda etc.
Pls Add Ather also, there did 15 yrs of RnD on there scooters and than they bought those in the market ......Infact Ather's scooter is far better than TVS or Hero's E- scooters
I have gen 1. No major issue so far. Minor bugs are there like software glitches. Every couple of days you have to reset. Make the software open to users, spare parts of consumable items should be available freely or purchased online like the scooter
Two times I changed my Ola motors now facing the same problem. Out of 7 months I used it 2 months only. Purchasing Ola is the Worst decision I have made in my entire life.
The only reason they exists , is that there are no proper consumer rights protection laws in india. Im a first batch s1pro user . While running its unbeatable! But when problem arises, you are locked and have to beg behind them to get it resolved

I own Ather for around 2yrs with 41000km driven its an engineering product with great R & D and testing I love it but only concern is costly even centre stand I recently changed which itself cost 3k apart from it no issues or worries in this 41k ride not even a single breakdown or issues only issue many will get is the sound after driving in rain which will fade away slowly
So lobbying for electric vehicles is literally just a number game instead of giving good infrastructure as well as hold the manufacturers responsible for such experiences?!

My uncle brought this for 1.2lac and after so much problems they sold it for 20k after a year. My cousin was stranded in the middle of nowhere at 9 pm while coming home and they said they will come and fix the issue but never did, didn't even call back. They however came next day at noon saw no one was there so left the vehicle as is without calling back. The third time they came they fixed it and told him to ride it for a while but it again stopped in the middle of a flyover right infront of a bus. When they were selling it, no one was even ready to buy it.... sometimes if things are too good to be true, they are

CEO Bhavish keeps meeting all the politicians and sells future India dreams but doesn't do anything to address service issues. He is a big crook fellow.

Bhavish just bought a small Ev company from Netherlands and showed it as if he has developed it from scratch..... generation 1 ola scooters have no issues except software glitches.... Generation 2 vehicles are completely modified from chassis, motor etc , sold to end customers without much testing.... now the public is struggling... Bhavish lost respect.... I request every problem bearer to unite and file case in consumer court for total refund of the product and compensate additionally for the mental, physical, financial, psychological, legal trauma they are going through..
my money for S1 of ola gone. its been 6 months now and been to workshop more than 50times and apart from its body. almost everything is changed. and still give problems and you have to tow the vehicle to the service station.
Ola is damaging image of ev scooters very badly..i have bought tvs iqube s in may 2023..10000 km completed..not a single issue i faced till date.. till date only one service is done on scooty which also costs around 500 rupees only.
The only way to get the service up or else the quality of the product to increase we have to demote others to invest in the ola vehicles for there cheap products as they are of no use to the country mission as it will make other companies also effected with the concept of the electric vehicles. Because people develop this misconception with the electric vehicles.
If you own a Harley Davidson in Bangalore, rest assured you will need to wait 3 months for spare parts. Indian laws suck so back.... if only we had a better system for ease in complaints and scrwing the manufacturers this would take a 180
I face similar issue with Yamaha India. It took 3 months for them to arrange an ignition coil for yzf R3. mechanics don't know how to repair in any part of India. They don't even have health check software in any of their showrooms. Finally I gave up and as joker (Nietzsche) said " whatever doesn't kill you makes you stronger". I import all the parts and service by myself. 😂
How stupid to compare a Harley with Ola ? Harley is an imported bike and yes you have to source it from out of India. So you know this is an issue when you buy a Harley. But Ola is made in India so what’s the excuse? It’s nothing but selling a fraudulent product to the public.Its basically cheating.

He is just trying to share his own problem that we as a consumer are facing here in India. Look at my comment too. We have a triumph dealership and trust me the brand loot us as well. So the brand is always in a win win situation. It's the import policy with our country that is killing us as a consumer. Sometimes I feel it's a knot that can't be fixed. 😉
I have had a pretty good experience with ola. My s1 pro is 2.5 years old, and has given little trouble. All service was attended to promptly, but it took some 4 days once to make an appointment. Overall I am happy
Thank you for bringing these things to light. I don’t think the company promoters manufacture such scooters, truly keeping customers in mind, but rather keep their pockets in mind. To them, I think, India is just a market to sell and make money. Now by playing on Indian strings, like patriotism, make in India; and the fact that we are a price sensitive market and not really a value driven market; they can do just that and get away with it. These folks can just rile up emotions and get you to buy their stuff. It’s abhorrent and distasteful. 😢
